Free gas cylinders to be provided during Diwali, Holi: CM Yogi Adityanath
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Friday that on the occasion of Holi in March, the state government will once again provide free gas cylinders. For this, beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana need to link their bank accounts with Aadhaar.
On the occasion of Dhanteras, the Chief Minister inaugurated the distribution campaign for free refills of cooking gas cylinders under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana for 1.75 crore eligible families in the state from Lok Bhavan on Friday. Notably, the state government will spend ₹2,312 crore on this campaign.

Gold and silver rates rebound on Dhanteras 2023. Is this a buying opportunity?
After slipping below ₹60,000 levels during Thursday deals on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold price witnessed some relief rally ahead of yesterday’s closing bell and regained ₹60,000 levels. In early morning deals, MCX gold rate continues to sustain above ₹60,000 per 10 gm levels whereas spot gold price is currently oscillating around $11,958 per ounce levels.
Silver rate today on MCX opened at 70,998 per kg levels and went on to hit an intraday high of ₹71,155 levels within a few minutes of the commodity market’s opening bell today. In the international market, silver price today is around $22.70 per ounce levels.

Auto Sales: 26.21 lakh vehicles sold in October 2023, highest ever sales in the month for PVs, says SIAM
The Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) has on November 10 released numbers for the auto industry performance in October 2023. As per the SIAM data, the total production of Passenger Vehicles, Three-wheelers, Two-wheelers, and Quadricycle in October 2023 was 26,21,248 units. For passenger vehicles in particular, the segment saw 15.9 percent growth year-on-year (YoY) – a record milestone.

Festive season sale 2023 order volume grows 37 pc, GMV 22 pc: Unicommerce
Festive season sale order volume grew by 37 percent year-on-year mainly due to discounts on online platforms and robust advertisement campaigns, logistics software-as-a-service firm Unicommerce said on Thursday.
According to the data released by the company, the gross merchandise value (GMV) also saw an increase of 22 percent during the same festive period.
“The analysis of orders processed through Unicommerce’s platform reveals that e-commerce order volumes grew handsomely this festive season, increasing by approximately 37 percent during the festive season sale of 2023 as compared to the festive sale period in 2022,” Unicommerce said in a statement.
