Nobody’s Mint Takes It to 1st Place

The volume sales of the Ethereum-based Nobody collection has shot up to $6,741,098 over the past 24 hours following its minting event.

This placed it in the first place for the day, per CryptoSlam. This is quite a jump compared to second-placed Ordinals’ $2 million.

Furthermore, Nobody saw 5,002 transactions, 1,557 buyers, and 3,620 sellers.

On Saturday, the team announced the start of the second phase of the raffle and airdrop. Whitelisted spots were limited, while eligible users could claim a Premium NFT.

The mint is now closed. 9,500 NFTs were available for mint for 0.19527 ETH each. The remaining 500 were reserved for investors, the team, and others.

The reveals will take place on February 9.

Meanwhile, the refund time started on Sunday and will end in July.

Per the website, Nobody is an NFT collection launched by Nobody and well-known director, actor, and ‘Shaolin Soccer’ star Stephen Chow.

Owning a Nobody NFT enables holders to participate in the project’s development. The team is also working to build the Nobody IP.

“What makes Nobody NFT special is that each Nobody NFT represents a vivid character with its own story. Holders can interact with these characters through the Nobody App, understanding their personalities, hobbies, backgrounds and shaping their future,” the team said.

Yuga Labs Announces New Gaming Partnership

Yuga Labs Gaming has announced a partnership with game studio Faraway.

The former is the gaming arm of the popular Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) and Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC) developer Yuga Labs.

The details are not yet available, but the new game should arrive in the second half of this year.

The teaser suggests that the players may be going on an adventure as NFTs from the Otherside universe. This includes Kodas – the celestial beings that reside in Otherside.

For now, however, visuals and graphics shown by the team are still a work in progress. The user interface, art, text, and other features are likely to go through changes by the time the game is out for the players to enjoy.

OpenSea Embedded Wallet Feature Crosses a Milestone

In other NFT news, the popular NFT marketplace OpenSea has recently enabled its users to sign up and create a wallet with just an email address.

By the start of the month, over 100,000 users have signed up with email to create its embedded wallet.

The marketplace announced this feature on January 9.

It stated that its new onboarding experience allows all users to create an OpenSea account with a self-custodied crypto wallet using just their email – no separate extensions needed.

This wallet is fully integrated with OpenSea. Users can buy, sell, send, and receive crypto and NFTs, manage funds, and view transactions on the blockchain.

The wallet supports all nine EVM-based chains compatible with OpenSea.

Also, users can fund wallets and buy NFTs using a credit or debit card.
