The craze for matcha continues in Hawaii and these spots have matcha-filled treats for all.

This matcha drink spot has a number of pop-ups every month, including a weekly pop-up at Fishcake in Kakaako. Matcha latte flavors include regular (agave), strawberry or Earl Grey that includes homemade syrups and matcha powder sourced from Kyoto, Japan. Visit the biz this December to try its winter flavors like double matcha with maple, caramel cookie butter and white chocolate. The drinks are a beautiful green color that is as appetizing to look at as it is to drink.

Chaya Hawaii
This biz is a kiosk bubble tea shop in Kahala Mall. Its premium Japanese matcha drinks include a matcha green tea and matcha milk, but the fan favorite is the strawberry matcha milk with its homemade strawberry sauce. Other matcha-infused drinks are the kuromitsu kinako matcha milk and yuzu matcha green tea. Add some fun toppings to your drink, like boba, lychee coconut jelly or mango jelly.

Nanas Green Tea
From drinks to soft serve and parfaits, this sweet spot has it all. Located in the Stix Asia food court, this Japanese cafe specializes in matcha flavored treats. Choose from a matcha chocolate latte, a matcha soda with soft serve or a matcha Americano. There are also hojicha and azuki drink options. Soft serve options are served in a waffle cone and can be topped with chocolate sauce, mochi balls, brown sugar syrup or azuki. For the ultimate treat, try one of the parfaits topped with everything from whipped cream, chocolate sauce, mochi and soft serve.

The matcha shop hidden inside Ten Tomorrow’s boutique has been growing in popularity since it opened in 2022. Popular drinks include the matcha lilikoi soda, strawberry matcha (you can remove the matcha to make a kid-friendly drink strawberry milk) and hapa matcha latte — a mix of matcha and hojicha that was also made into a special collaborated ice cream flavor with Sage Creamery. All drinks are available either iced or hot.
