May 15, 2024 — Apeiron, the first-ever web3 god game, today announced the Apeiron Guild Wars 2024, with a $1 million prize pool, making it Apeiron’s largest tournament to date. Apeiron is a casual MOBA, blending elements of god games, roguelites, and battle arenas to deliver a unique entertainment experience.

As Apeiron’s first official Guild Wars tournament, this competition – planned to be an annual event – underscores the team’s commitment to competitive play and community engagement.

The Apeiron Guild Wars 2024 will begin with preliminaries online between May 21 and June 25, culminating in a final in-person event. Guilds will compete for slots in the tournament on a special Guild PvP online leaderboard.

The Guild Leaderboard will run from May 21 to July 2, with the SEA Invitational scheduled for July 11 to July 14 and the NA Invitational scheduled for July 18 to July 21. After the Invitational concludes, the top 12 guilds in both regions who place the highest will be invited to the Apeiron Guild Wars 2024.

Participants will battle it out for slots in the semifinals and finals, slated to be hosted in Hong Kong in Q3 2024. Players will showcase their God-battling skills in a double-elimination bracket tournament. The top four seeded guilds will receive a first-round bye, advancing directly to finals.

The $1,000,000 million prize pool will be awarded based on placing in the tournament, with the reward pool split between USD 500,000 and USD 500,000 worth of NFTs for the top Apeiron guild competitors. 

Participation is an open invitation to the entire web3 community and established guilds. Participants in past Guild Wars Preliminary tournaments include Avocado DAO, GuildFi, W3GG, Zombie Club, Ancient 8, METAT8, Sura, and APE.GG.
