XRP Price Prediction: Will XRP Sink to $1 as Outflows Rise while JetBolt’s Presale Turns Heads

By |2025-05-30T04:33:07+03:00May 30, 2025|Crypto News, News|0 Comments

Ripple’s XRP is battling massive outflows and mounting pressure, sparking fears and bearish XRP price predictions that it could crash to $1. With waning institutional demand for XRP’s products, can this established token recover from the downtrend? In this article we will review top expert XRP price projections and forecasts.

While buyers are zeroing in on market experts’ XRP price forecasts, a fast-rising young altcoin is soaring. JetBolt’s (JBOLT) presale continues to turn heads after smashing another milestone—selling over 355 million tokens.

Can JetBolt’s advanced features, like its zero-gas tech, fuel its rapid ascent? And will XRP sink to $1 as outflows rise? Let’s dive into the latest JetBolt updates and XRP price predictions.

XRP Price Forecast: Is a $1 Breakdown Looming for XRP?

XRP’s (XRP) recent price moves have buyers closely watching the charts, following the Ripple-affiliated token’s staggering outflows that triggered bearish XRP price predictions.

According to a report published by CoinShares, XRP saw $37.2 million in outflows last week and $28.6 million in outflows month-to-date. Yashu Gola’s analysis pointed out that these figures signal decreased institutional appetite for XRP-powered products — a negative catalyst for the cross-border payment token’s price.

Table of flows by asset and exchange country from CoinShares

So, will XRP sink to $1 as outflows rise? Gola predicts XRP could slip to $1.61 if it fails to hold key support levels. At the time of writing, XRP is trading at approximately $2.28. If it successfully breaches the $2.35 level, Gola noted it could set the stage for a rally toward $3.

Meanwhile, FXEmpire reports that the court’s decision to reject the settlement of Ripple and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) remains a thorn in XRP’s side, casting a shadow over bullish sentiment.

Unless sentiment flips or there’s renewed interest from institutional and retail traders, market observers fear XRP could lose steam and slide closer to $1.

JetBolt’s (JBOLT) Presale Turns Heads with Latest Milestone

While XRP fights to hold its ground, large buyers are captivated by JetBolt’s (JBOLT) surging presale. This red-hot newcomer is shaking up the altcoin scene with remarkable presale milestones and cutting-edge features.

Since its presale began, JetBolt has already sold over 355 million tokens and generated more than $3.2 million in sales, making it one of the most exciting crypto presales to watch in 2025.

So what’s fueling this explosive presale momentum? JetBolt boasts user-centric, revolutionary features. A prime example is its zero-gas technology, which enables users to carry out gas-free blockchain transactions.

Another groundbreaking innovation is JetBolt’s AI-powered crypto insights and news tool. This smart AI utility displays reader-friendly updates on the crypto market and other relevant information about the Web3 space.

JetBolt further enhances its appeal through a fun, user-friendly staking platform. Beyond an intuitive interface, participants can earn bonuses by simultaneously staking their JBOLT tokens while engaging with friends.

Another factor fueling early buyers’ interest is JetBolt’s limited-time presale perks. Early adopters can receive up to 25% bonus tokens when they purchase Alpha Boxes or buy JBOLT tokens in batches.

In a nutshell, JetBolt’s next-gen infrastructure and generous presale bonuses are why its presale continues to draw buyers’ attention.

XRP Price Prediction: Will XRP Sink to as Outflows Rise while JetBolt’s Presale Turns Heads

Conclusion — XRP’s Price Route and JetBolt’s Stellar Presale Figures

Ripple’s XRP is facing a period of uncertainty, marked by rising outflows and lingering regulatory concerns. While bearish XRP price predictions suggest the token could sink to $1, nothing is guaranteed.

Meanwhile, JetBolt is gaining serious traction. With its surging presale numbers and state-of-the-art Web3 features, JetBolt is among the top choices for buyers looking for fresh and innovative cryptocurrencies.

XRP price on track for a 14% breakout ahead of SEC DeFi roundtable

By |2025-05-30T02:51:07+03:00May 30, 2025|News, NFT News|0 Comments

  • XRP posts mild gains on Thursday after a US court blocked President Trump’s tariffs.
  • The SEC has announced the agenda and panelists for its June 9 crypto roundtable.
  • XRP derivatives Open Interest drops to $4.8 billion as long liquidations surge, signaling strong headwinds.

Ripple (XRP) hovers at around $2.28 at the time of writing on Thursday, reflecting bullish sentiment in the crypto market after a United States (US) court nixed President Donald Trump’s tariffs on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) Crypto Task Force will host a roundtable on June 9, bringing together key industry figures, including Rebecca Rettig from Jito Labs.

According to a Reuters report, the Court of International Trade ruled that the US Constitution grants Congress exclusive power to regulate trade with other countries and that this authority cannot be overridden by the President’s emergency powers to safeguard the economy.

SEC announces DeFi roundtable agenda and panelists

The SEC Crypto Task Force has announced the agenda and panelists for its June 9 roundtable. The roundtable, dubbed “DeFi and the American Spirit,” will be held at the agency’s headquarters in Washington, D.C.

Nine members will be on the panel, including Jill Gunter from Espresso Systems, Omid Malekan from the Columbia Business School, Rebecca Rettig from Jito Labs and Peter Van Valkenburgh from Coin Center, among others.

“DeFi exemplifies the promise of crypto, as it allows people to interact without intermediaries,” Commissioner Hester M. Peirce, head of the Crypto Task Force, said. “I look forward to learning from the panelists about how we can create a regulatory environment in which DeFi can thrive,” he added.

Technical outlook: Can XRP validate a potential 14% breakout?

XRP’s price uptrend in early May has been overshadowed by a strong bearish trend in the past two weeks as it eyes the potential to extend losses toward $2.20, the next area of interest for traders eyeing dips.

The money remittance token is holding beneath key moving averages on the 4-hour chart, including the 50-period Exponential Moving Average (EMA), the 100-period EMA, and the 200-period EMA. This gives credence to the short-term bearish momentum, which is accentuated by the Relative Strength Index (RSI) reversal below the 50 midline.

Should the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) indicator flash a sell signal as the blue MACD line crosses below the red signal line, key liquidity-rich areas, such as the demand zones at $2.20, $2.21, and $2.00, respectively, will come into sight.

XRP/USDT 4-hour chart

The falling wedge pattern illustrated on the chart above suggests that XRP has the potential to reverse its downward trend. This bullish pattern is characterized by two downward-sloping trendlines that converge to the right of the chart, indicating declining volume and sell-side pressure.

Traders look for a break above the upper trendline, accompanied by rising trading volume, to validate the falling wedge. As observed on the chart, the 14% target of $2.63 is determined by measuring the distance between the pattern’s widest points and extrapolating above the upper trendline.

Meanwhile, XRP derivatives data indicate that Open Interest (OI) has decreased by approximately 4.6% to $4.67 billion over the past 24 hours. This coincides with a near 50% increase in volume to $4.45 billion, hinting at a developing bearish bias as traders close positions in futures and options.

XRP derivatives data | Source CoinGlass

The drop in OI as volume increases underpins a noticeable increase in long position liquidations, which reached $8.5 million over the past 24 hours compared to approximately $713,000 in shorts.

If this situation persists, traders may move cautiously amid anticipated volatility, especially with the release of the Personal Consumer Expenditure (PCE) Price Index inflation data on Friday.

SEC vs Ripple lawsuit FAQs

It depends on the transaction, according to a court ruling released on July 14, 2023:

For institutional investors or over-the-counter sales, XRP is a security.
For retail investors who bought the token via programmatic sales on exchanges, on-demand liquidity services and other platforms, XRP is not a security.

The United States Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) accused Ripple and its executives of raising more than $1.3 billion through an unregistered asset offering of the XRP token.

While the judge ruled that programmatic sales aren’t considered securities, sales of XRP tokens to institutional investors are indeed investment contracts. In this last case, Ripple did breach the US securities law and had to pay a $125 million civil fine.

The ruling offers a partial win for both Ripple and the SEC, depending on what one looks at.

Ripple gets a big win over the fact that programmatic sales aren’t considered securities, and this could bode well for the broader crypto sector as most of the assets eyed by the SEC’s crackdown are handled by decentralized entities that sold their tokens mostly to retail investors via exchange platforms, experts say.

Still, the ruling doesn’t help much to answer the key question of what makes a digital asset a security, so it isn’t clear yet if this lawsuit will set precedent for other open cases that affect dozens of digital assets. Topics such as which is the right degree of decentralization to avoid the “security” label or where to draw the line between institutional and programmatic sales persist.

The SEC has stepped up its enforcement actions toward the blockchain and digital assets industry, filing charges against platforms such as Coinbase or Binance for allegedly violating the US Securities law. The SEC claims that the majority of crypto assets are securities and thus subject to strict regulation.

While defendants can use parts of Ripple’s ruling in their favor, the SEC can also find reasons in it to keep its current strategy of regulation by enforcement.

Common herbal supplements taken by millions of Americans could be linked to deadly liver damage

By |2025-05-30T02:33:11+03:00May 30, 2025|Dietary Supplements News, News|0 Comments

Commonly-used herbal and dietary supplements taken by millions of Americans to stay healthy have been tied to a rising number of cases of liver damage and toxicity.

Supplement-related liver failure that required U.S. patients to be put on a waitlist for a transplant increased by eight times the previous level from 1995 through 2020, according to a 2022 study in the journal Liver Transplantation. Another study found that 20 percent of liver toxicity cases around the country are linked to the supplements, according to research published in the journal Hepatology.

The result of the damage can be life-threatening. Liver disease results in more than 50,000 deaths each year, according to federal health officials. The result of the drug-induced liver injury known as hepatotoxicity can be impaired liver function and liver failure. Cases of hepatotoxicity may be rare, but it remains unclear just how rare.

Still, some 15 million Americans are using supplements containing ingredients that are potentially harmful to the liver.

“I think people assume these things are safe,” Dr. Dina Halegoua-De Marzio, a Jefferson Health hepatologist, told NBC News. “The No. 1 reason we see people taking these are for good health or to supplement their health, and so I don’t think that they realize that there is a real risk here.”

Many people take supplements that they believe will make them healthier. But, overuse of some can result in liver damage and toxicity (Getty/iStock)

So, what are the offending supplements tied to these cases? You may regularly use them in cooking. Many patients take them with the aim of improving their health. The bright yellow spice turmeric is the most commonly consumed in the U.S., according to a study published last year in the journal JAMA Network Open. Black cohosh, red yeast rice, Garcinia cambogia, and green tea extract were also identified on a list compiled by researchers at the University of Michigan.

“When you cook with turmeric, that could be really safe. But some of the supplements now are 2,000 milligrams plus, which is a very high dose of turmeric,” Halegoua-De Marzio said, noting that adding black pepper could make the liver “really sick.”

Online, many of these supplements are promoted as more natural options than prescription medications. But, they are not subject to the same kind of testing and scrutiny as other drugs. That’s not the only issue. Physicians say insufficient attention in medical screenings and mislabeling are two other problems to be aware of.

“We performed analytical chemistry and found about a 50 percent mismatch between stated ingredients on the label and what they actually contained, which is quite alarming,” Dr. Robert Fontana, a University of Michigan Medicine hepatologist, said in a statement. “If you buy a supplement and it says it has a certain ingredient, it’s basically a coin flip if that’s true or not.”

Fewer than 40 percent of patients willingly tell their doctors about the supplements they are taking, according to Kaiser Permanente primary care physician Dr. Crystal Xue.

Without the guiding hand of doctors, people who take too much may not realize the risk. New Jersey’s Robert Grafton told NBC News that if he hadn’t been in the medical field, he might have taken more supplements to help him feel better. Instead, following a trip to the hospital, he found out he had a drug-induced liver injury after taking ashwagandha, turmeric pills, and other supplements.

Some people are even genetically vulnerable to this kind of damage. Although, that’s also true for prescription drugs.

Symptoms of liver damage and toxicity can differ, but generally include fever, fatigue, abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting, urine changes, and jaundice.

There are some 44,000 estimated cases of liver damage associated with the drugs each year, including 2,700 deaths. That number is likely an undercount.

People can still take supplements, given they do so safely. However, given the lack of regulation in this area, researchers hope to raise awareness about the issue to try to prevent future deaths.

“We’re not trying to create alarm,” Fontana said.

“We’re just trying to increase awareness that the over-the-counter supplements people are taking and buying have not been tested nor necessarily proven to be safe,” he said.

SOL Is Following ETH Trajectory; $500 Might Be A Conservative Target In 2025

By |2025-05-30T02:31:58+03:00May 30, 2025|Crypto News, News|0 Comments

Disclaimer: This is a Press Release provided by a third party who is responsible for the content. Please conduct your own research before taking any action based on the content.

Right from the outset, Solana was dubbed the ” Ethereum killer.” The Layer 1 fast horse might finally crash ETH and achieve that dream if Ethereum fails to get its act together.

While Solana rocketed to a new ATH during its Q4 rally last year, ETH failed to surpass the $4.1k zone. The Solana ecosystem continues to grow in leaps and bounds, and its market cap is forecasted to increase significantly, gaining on Ethereum as the SOL price scales new heights above $500.

Solana crushes ETH on key metrics

While Ethereum can only process 15-30  transactions per second, Solana’s speed stands at between 2,600 and 4,000 TPS, making it nearly 173x faster. Furthermore, Ethereum experiences crippling network congestion, which pushes fees significantly higher during high-demand periods.

On the other hand, Solana offers low fees, faster transactions, and better scalability, making it a top choice for modern blockchain applications. Data from Dune Analytics reveals that Solana attracted 89% of all new token launches in 2024, spotlighting it as the epicenter of many new blockchain projects.

The Solana price has been ripping lately

Solana surprised everyone last year after making one of the most sensational price recoveries in the crypto market. SOL hit a new ATH of $294, pulling a 37x multiplier from its bear market lows of $8!

Even so, SOL wasn’t spared the marketwide correction that sent the Ethereum price crumbling below $2k. As ETH collapsed to $1.38k in April, SOL trickled down to the $96 zone but has been on the fly lately, rising over 80% to flirt with the $180 zone.

Source: CoinMarketCap

This impressive uptrend comes amid inspiring developments in the Solana ecosystem. Recently, Solana partnered with R3 Corda, a private blockchain network holding more than $10 billion in tokenized real-world assets.

Again, Kraken has chosen to utilize the Solana network to launch a new global tokenized equities trading platform, highlighting Solana as a top destination for RWA DeFi, thanks to its high throughput and low transaction fees.

As bullish Solana news reverberates in the market, the asset is expected to master the bullish steam required to crash the $180 psychological barrier. If SOL overcomes this zone, some analysts have put forth bold Solana price predictions, positing it could scale new heights toward $500.

Solana price prediction: Can SOL smash $500 this year?

Data-driven Solana price predictions reveal that SOL might enter a consolidation phase in the $100-$200 zone in the foreseeable future and may not hit $500 this year.

But once this consolidation phase is over, Changelly analysts expect SOL to climb rapidly upwards, rising to print a new ATH in the $560 zone. That would push Solana’s market cap past $288 billion, seriously gaining on Ethereum.

Solana whales seek better ROIs in presales

Even if SOL catches up with ETH in the $300 billion club, that would only be a 4x return from current rates. That’s why SOL whales seeking more exciting ROIs are also buying into low-cap presale gems like Remittix (RTX).

This emerging cross-border payments token is already up over 400% in the ICO realm, and analysts predict it might soar over 10,000% once launched in the open market. Your chance at generational wealth might come true with this undervalued PayFi kingpin, so check it out and grab a stake at the $0.0781 bargain price.

Savvy investors have already pumped in over $15.4 million into the Remittix presale, accumulating over 540 million RTX tokens. Better deals are to be had the earlier tokens are bought, meaning time is running out.

DeFi Development Bets on Liquid Staking to Expand Position in Solana

By |2025-05-30T00:50:26+03:00May 30, 2025|News, NFT News|0 Comments

  • DeFi Development Adopts Liquid Staking with Focus on Solana
  • Nasdaq-listed company accumulates more than 609 thousand SOL
  • Use of LSTs provides liquidity and scale in cryptocurrencies

Nasdaq-listed DeFi Development Corp. has announced the use of liquid staking tokens (LSTs) as part of its strategy to expand its Solana (SOL) position and optimize its crypto treasury.

Em release In a statement released on Wednesday, the company said it has begun allocating its SOL assets to dfdvSOL, a liquid staking token built on Sanctum’s infrastructure. Adopting this technology allows tokens to remain liquid while being delegated for staking, something increasingly explored by institutional participants in the DeFi ecosystem.

With the adoption of LSTs, DeFi Development has become the first publicly traded company to own this type of token based on the Solana network. According to the company, this move reinforces its treasury model focused exclusively on cryptocurrencies and strengthens its presence among institutional players in the sector.

Parker White, the company’s chief investment and operations officer, explained that using dfdvSOL allows us to increase engagement with validators and increase SOL holdings. “This creates additional ways to drive participation to our validators and increase SOL holdings,” he commented.

DeFi Development underwent a significant restructuring in April when a team of former Kraken executives acquired majority control of then-real estate software company Janover. Since then, the new management has refocused on the Solana ecosystem, signaling a clear focus on the network’s growth.

The company’s most recent moves include a $24 million private placement earlier this month, aimed at bolstering corporate cash and continuing to accumulate SOL as part of its long-term strategy.

With acquisition from an additional 16.447 SOL on May 15, the company now holds a total of 609.190 SOL, valued at approximately US$105,8 million at current market prices.

Despite the news, DeFi Development shares fell 16,95% on Nasdaq, closing the day at $22,19. The SOL token suffered a slight decline of 0,7%, trading at $173,40, with a market capitalization of $90,3 billion.

10 Best Creatine Supplements for Bigger Gains in 2025

By |2025-05-30T00:32:06+03:00May 30, 2025|Dietary Supplements News, News|0 Comments

Your mom thinks it’s steroids, your gym bros think it’s a magic powder that gets you jacked overnight: Unfortunately, the best creatine supplements are decidedly neither of those things. That being said, creatine is one of the most thoroughly studied supplements on the market—a veritable beacon of hope in an otherwise largely unregulated industry—that actually does help boost strength, athletic performance, and muscle mass to a small (but not insignificant!) degree. “I recommend [creatine] to anyone who wants to improve strength, power, and lean muscle mass growth,” Mike Dewar, strength coach and founder of J2FIT, says. “Some newer studies show that creatine can also improve brain health.”

I’ve personally been taking five grams of creatine every day for years, and pretty much every serious gym rat I know swears by the stuff. (Of course, you should consult with your healthcare provider before taking any dietary supplement.) Will creatine magically make you a vascular, engorged freakbeast overnight? No. Will it—when coupled with hard training and good recovery—help with your gains? For sure. If you’re not sure where to start, check out our top picks for the best creatine supplements below.

The Best Creatine Supplements, at a Glance:

In This Guide

Best Creatine Overall: Nutricost Creatine Monohydrate Powder

Nutricost

Creatine Monohydrate Powder

If you’ve read anything I’ve written about protein powder or supplements, you know that I’ve got a soft spot for Nutricost. The value here is really solid, and if you’re just looking for a big tub of creatine monohydrate—the only kind of creatine you should be buying, by the way—you can’t go wrong with Nutricost. (It also has the standard dose of five grams per scoop, which is key.) I’m partial to the unflavored version, since I don’t really mind the taste, but the brand offers a bunch of different options, ranging from Blue Raspberry to Mandarin Orange. If you’re looking for something to whack into a protein shake or slug down with some water, this is your best bet.

Best Pre-Workout With Creatine: Gorilla Mind Gorilla Mode Pre-Workout

It’s easy to get bogged down in the supplement aisle—I myself am certainly guilty of having a few cabinets in my kitchen that look more like a GNC than I’d care to admit. For those trying to streamline their supplementation regimen, taking a pre-workout that has your daily dose of creatine built into the formula is a great way to get two birds stoned at once. With a grip of decent flavors and both stim and stim-free options, this is a solid choice for gym rats everywhere. (This also happens to be our top pick for the best pre-workout for resistance training on the market.) One thing to note, though: Creatine only works if you take it every day, so on rest days, it’s best to use a regular creatine supplement instead.

Best Creatine Pills: BulkSupplements Creatine Monohydrate Capsules

BulkSupplements

Creatine Monohydrate Capsules

Don’t mess with powders and potions? We feel you. For on-the-go meatheaderry, I like to pack these creatine pills instead of making a mess trying to funnel a bunch of powder into, say, an airport water bottle using a rolled-up magazine. (Though if you’re going to go that route, make sure you use an issue of GQ.) A word of warning, though: The serving size for these is seven pills, which is (obviously) a lot of pills. It never bothers me, but it’s good to keep in mind.

Best Creatine Gummies: Legion Creatine Monohydrate Gummies

Legion

Creatine Monohydrate Gummies

More of a Flintstones vitamin dude? You’re in luck: Legion makes some delicious creatine gummies that are truly a joy to eat. Is hammering five gummies the most efficient way to get your creatine in? Probably not—but it make every morning a little more fun, which is always worth it in our book.

Best Creatine for Traveling: Nutricost Creatine Monohydrate Powder Variety Stickpacks

Nutricost

Creatine Monohydrate Stickpack Variety

For on-the-go supplementation, it’s tough to beat these little stick packs of creatine from Nutricost—especially if you’re not a fan of knocking back a handful of horse pills. They come in a ton of great flavors, and contain your tried-and-true five grams of creatine monohydrate in each stick. They’re not as cheap as bulk powder, but you’re paying for convenience.

Best Creatine Tablets: Animal Creatine Chews Tablets

Animal

Creatine Chews Tablets

While these chewable creatine tablets from Animal are marginally less fun than the gummies we listed above, they’re marginally more fun than an unflavored powder or a handful of gel-caps. Animal is an OG in the supplement game, and if you’ve been in the iron game for a while, you might remember their old school black-and-white print ads or the Animal Cage at the Arnold.

More Creatine Supplements We Love

Huge Supplements

Pure Micronized Creatine Monohydrate Powder

My girlfriend absolutely loves this creatine from Huge Supplements, since she’s not a fan of slugging back unflavored powder. Plus, it mixes well and isn’t too expensive.

Transparent Labs

Creatine HMB

I’m not going to comment on the science of HMB, but a lot of people swear by it, and Transparent Labs is a great company with—of course—transparent ingredients lists and a slew of certifications. It also contains your tried-and-true five grams of creatine monohydrate in each serving and comes in a grip of flavors.

Nutricost

Creatine + Aminos

While you probably don’t need extra amino acids in your diet, you definitely need them in general, and this formula has a ton of ’em. Great flavors, well-dosed creatine, and an affordable price tag? Sign us up.

Optimum Nutrition

Creatine Monohydrate Plus Powder

Hydration and creatine go hand-in-hand, and this blend of electrolytes and creatine monohydrate is a great way to get two birds stoned at once for pennies on the dollar.

What to Look for in Creatine Supplements

Dose: For most people, five grams (often listed as 5,000mg on nutrition labels to… make it seem like more?) is going to be the sweet spot. There’s anecdotal evidence that bigger guys see bigger gains with bigger doses of creatine—and some studies suggest doses up to 20 grams a day help with cognitive function—but five grams is where it’s at, IMO. Plus, going above five grams is tough on the ol’ stomach, anecdotally.

Type: Stick with creatine monohydrate. This is the gold standard and the most researched kind of creatine on the market with no additives. Every other type of creatine is pretty much just marketing.

Creatine FAQ

Why Should People Take Creatine? What Are the Benefits of Creatine?

“Creatine is one of the most researched and scientifically proven legal supplements on the market to increase strength, power, sprint performance, and muscle size,” Dewar says. “Creatine works to improve ATP (adenosine triphosphate) production, which is the main energy source the body uses for forceful and rapid muscle contractions. This energy source, however, also depletes quickly… so having ample amounts in the system just helps you always keep your ‘gas tank’ full. This can also aid in recovery, as creatine is part of all skeletal muscle tissue, and is constantly being used and replenished during hard training.”

Who Should Take Creatine?

TL;DR: It’s not just for bodybuilders. “Creatine is used by all ages, abilities, and body types, as physiologically our bodies require it as one of the earliest forms of energy to promote muscle function,” Dewar explains. “That said, I recommend it to anyone who wants to improve strength, power, and lean muscle mass growth. Additionally, there are some newer studies showing that creatine can also improve brain health. All in all, it’s something that has no downsides, in all the literature. I recommend people shoot for at least three grams a day, however five grams is the standard dose. While these aren’t usually standardized for body size, I find that five to eight grams is a solid option for larger individuals who train very hard and are more advanced.”

Do I Need to “Load” Creatine?

No, Dewar says. Since creatine can take weeks to produce any noticeable effects, some folks opt to “load” it—a.k.a. take around 20 grams a day for the first week, in an effort to expedite the process with a loading phase. “Just taking [five grams] daily with some carbs is best,” he explains. Anecdotally, I notice some gastrointestinal side effects at doses higher than five grams.

What Is the Best Creatine to Take?

Creatine monohydrate is the gold standard when it comes to the best form of creatine to build muscle and help with exercise performance.

How Do I Supplement With Creatine?

Take five grams a day, every day, and pray for muscle growth.

How We Tested

In my 15 years of strength training, I’ve taken a ton of creatine, from no-name Wal-Mart brands to high-end, probably-too-expensive tubs from the newest, most hyped-up DTC brands in the game. Plus, I also consulted with my network of meatheads testers, which includes my fellow gym rats office, former NCAA athletes, NASM– and ACE-certified trainers, and competitive BJJ grapplers.

Platinum price continued to resist stochastic negativity by its continuous fluctuation above $1056.00 level, which represents an important support as appears in the above image, as it represents 100% Fibonacci extension, and its stability reinforces the chances of the bullish scenario domination again.

Pound to Dollar Forecast: “Downward Bias Toward 1.3395” say UoB

By |2025-05-29T22:44:18+03:00May 29, 2025|Forex News, News|0 Comments

May 29, 2025 – Written by Frank Davies

The dollar secured net gains on Thursday after a US court ruled that the US Administration unilateral tariffs based on emergency legislation were not constitutional.

The bigger impact was a further decline in demand for safe-haven currencies with the yen and Swiss franc posting sharp losses. Asian currencies overall lost ground while the Pound was resilient in global markets.

The dollar failed to hold its best levels as Trump will not roll over and accept the Court’s judgement with all avenues explored to pursue his trade policy.

The decision will also inject another level of economic uncertainty, especially as the Administration will appeal against the ruling.

There was still an immediate boost to risk appetite with strong gains for equity futures.

US S&P 500 futures were around 1.5% higher and the FTSE 100 index will open higher

The Pound was also cushioned by stronger risk conditions with the Pound to Dollar (GBP/USD) exchange rate near 1.3450 from 1.3415 lows.

According to UoB; “Today, we expect GBP to trade with a downward bias toward 1.3395. A sustained break below this level seems unlikely.”

On a slightly longer-term view, it expects a 1.3330/1.3530 range rather than of a sustained decline

The Court of International Trade ruled that an emergency law invoked by the White House does not give the president unilateral authority to impose tariffs on international countries.

According to Court the US Constitution gives Congress exclusive powers to regulate commerce with other nations and this is not superseded by the president’s remit to safeguard the economy.

It added that the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA), a 1977 law that Trump cited to justify the tariffs, does not give him the power to impose the sweeping tariffs.

Tariffs based on the crackdown of fentanyl smuggling were also declared unconstitutional.

The sectoral tariffs in areas such as Aluminium and steel are not affected.

It gave the Administration 10 days to remove the tariffs.

The Administration will appeal against the decision and the tariffs will continue to be collected until the appeals are heard.

If the ruling is upheld, tariffs collected so far will have to be repaid.

MUFG commented; “The Trump administration has filed a notice of appeal with the US Trade Court, where it is very likely to go not just to the Court of Appeal but likely up to the US Supreme Court.”

Yunosuke Ikeda, head of macro research at Nomura commented; “It’s almost impossible to know if the tariffs will be completely unwound by this. But in the hypothetical situation that they are, it’s natural to see dollar appreciation.”

He added; “Trump’s tariffs will lead to stagflation pressure on the U.S. economy, so reversing those tariffs would be a positive for the dollar.”

There will still be a high degree of uncertainty, especially as there will be an impact on tax revenue which will feed through into underlying market concerns over the budget deficit.

It is highly unlikely that the Administration will drop its trade campaign and it will explore all avenues to negate any legal impact.

MUFG added; “Our best sense right now for Asia FX markets is that the knee jerk reaction seen today in Asian currencies weakening and Dollar strengthening may not last. The crucial reasons are that the tariffs on Asia are likely to stay amidst the legal battle, coupled with the legal uncertainty also potentially crimping US growth and investment plans further.”

Green Tea-Derived Carbon Dots Emit Efficient UV Light

By |2025-05-29T22:31:09+03:00May 29, 2025|Dietary Supplements News, News|0 Comments

Ultraviolet (UV) emission plays a vital role in applications such as sterilization, anti-counterfeiting, phototherapy, forensic analysis, and communication. To meet these demands, researchers have developed various UV-emitting materials, including colloidal quantum dots, small molecules, and polymers. However, many of these materials rely on toxic metals like cadmium (Cd) or lead (Pb), critical raw materials, or non-renewable petroleum-based chemicals. Additionally, their synthesis often involves complex and expensive processes, raising significant environmental concerns.

A team of materials scientists, led by Associate Professor Jia Wang from Umeå University in Sweden, in collaboration with Professor Ludvig Edman and colleagues, recently introduced a sustainable alternative. They synthesized carbon dots (CDs) with efficient UV emission, derived from a renewable and abundant biomass feedstock—green tea extract.

This peer-reviewed article was published in Nano Research in April 2025.

“In this study, we convert a common green tea extract into UV-emitting CDs through a simple hydrothermal process,” explained Jia Wang, the corresponding authors. Wang is also a research PI with the Wallenberg Initiative Materials Science for Sustainability. “These CDs exhibit a photoluminescence peak at 384 nm with a quantum yield (PLQY) of 17% in water. Interestingly, when dissolved in ‘poor’ solvents, their emission becomes blue-shifted and nearly five times stronger.”

CDs are metal-free, quasi-zero-dimensional nanostructures typically smaller than 10 nm. These nanoparticles can achieve optical performances comparable to inorganic quantum dots while being environmentally friendly. Because CDs can be synthesized from various carbon-rich sources, they hold great potential as a sustainable alternative.

The team highlighted the progress being made in biomass-derived CDs, which have been gaining attention for their environmental benefits. “Biomass sources like food waste, forest and agricultural residues, and even household waste have been used to produce CDs, demonstrating efficient emission in both the visible and near-infrared regions. However, successful UV emission from CDs has been rare,” Jia Wang noted.

In this study, the UV emission of CDs exhibited clear solvent dependence. As the solvent polarity index increased, the PLQY decreased, with the highest PLQY of 81% achieved using the highly hydrophobic solvent 3-phenoxyanisole. Wang’s team attributed this enhancement to aggregation-induced emission. “These CDs are about 3.5 nm on average,” Wang explained. “In poor solvents, they form larger aggregates (10–30 nm) due to reduced dispersibility. This aggregation creates more compact molecular structures and rigid scaffolds, which limits non-radiative recombination and significantly enhances PLQY.”

The team also explored the synthesis of CDs from green tea bag powder instead of green tea extract. However, the resulting CDs only emitted blue light, not UV. “Even simple pretreatment steps like extraction or isolation can decisively influence the structure and properties of the final CDs,” Wang said. “Rational design of these pretreatments is an important action for advancing biomass-derived functional materials.”

Beyond their optical properties, the team is also eager to explore additional applications. “Our preliminary results suggest that these CDs can strongly inhibit the proliferation of SH-SY5Y neuroblastoma cells,” said Wang. “Our collaborators are conducting more detailed studies on their antioxidative properties.
