Pound to Euro Forecast: GBP Slips vs EUR amid Eurozone Economic Optimism

By |2025-03-06T03:29:27+02:00March 6, 2025|Forex News, News|0 Comments

March 5, 2025 – Written by Frank Davies

Pound Sterling (EUR) weakened against the Euro (EUR) on Wednesday as the common currency gained strength from positive economic news.

At the time of writing, the Pound Euro (GBP/EUR) exchange rate was trading at around €1.2002, down roughly 0.4%from Wednesday’s opening levels.

On Wednesday, the Euro (EUR) rose against most of its counterparts, supported by news that the anticipated members of Germany’s next coalition have reached a deal on a debt brake.

The Euro also benefited from a weakening US Dollar, due to their inverse relationship.

Furthermore, despite a mixed set of economic data from the Eurozone, including a worse-than-expected services PMI and a better-than-expected PPI release, the single currency maintained its strength.

On Wednesday, the Pound (GBP) remained resilient against most of its major peers after the release of the UK’s latest services PMI.

The finalised index for February remained in expansion territory,(a reading above 50) with a reading of 51, up from 50.8, though slightly below the expected 51.1.

Despite this, Sterling held its strength and even made slight gains against some of its counterparts.

Looking ahead to Thursday, the primary factor influencing the Pound Euro exchange rate will likely be the European Central Bank’s (ECB) upcoming interest rate decision.

The ECB is widely anticipated to cut interest rates by 25 basis points. However, if this rate cut is accompanied by dovish forward guidance, indicating a more cautious stance on future monetary policy, the Euro could
weaken as the trading session progresses.

On the other hand, the Pound may lack a clear direction on Thursday, as there is no scheduled UK economic data to provide guidance. This could lead to Sterling trading in a more rangebound manner, influenced more
by market sentiment and external factors.

XAG/USD struggles around $32.40 while global trade war intensifies

By |2025-03-06T01:43:21+02:00March 6, 2025|Forex News, News|0 Comments

  • Silver price strives to break above $32.40, getting support from the global trade war consistently.
  • Growing concerns over the US economic outlook have weighed on the US Dollar.
  • Soft ADP Employment data for February would prompt Fed dovish bets.

Silver price (XAG/USD) struggles to extend its upside above the key resistance of $32.40 in Wednesday’s North American session. The white metal remains broadly firm as United States (US) President Donald Trump-led-global trade war has intensified due to counter-tariffs on China, Canada, and Mexico.

Escalating trade war tensions have increased uncertainty over the global economic outlook. Such a scenario improves the appeal of precious metals such as Silver.

Meanwhile, a sharp sell-off in the US Dollar (USD) is also a favorable scenario for the Silver price. The US Dollar Index (DXY), which tracks the Greenback’s value against six major currencies, plunges to near 104.50, the lowest level seen in almost four months. The Greenback weakens as investors worry about the US economic outlook due to escalating tariff war.

During North American trading hours on Wednesday, weak US ADP Employment Change data for February has also weighed on the US Dollar. The ADP reported that private employers added 77K fresh workers, lower than estimates of 140K and the former release of 186K. Soft labor demand in the US private sector is expected to prompt Fed dovish bets, which had already increased lately.

According to the CME FedWatch tool, the likelihood for the Fed to reduce interest rates in June has increased to 85% from 70% recorded a week ago.

Silver technical analysis

Silver price moves higher to near the key resistance of $32.40 plotted from the December 12 high. The asset climbs above the 20-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA), which trades around $31.85.

The 14-day Relative Strength Index (RSI) oscillates inside the 40.00-60.00 range, suggesting a sideways trend.

Looking down, the upward-sloping trendline from the August 8 low of $26.45 will act as key support for the Silver price around $30.00. While, the February 14 high of $33.40 will be the key barrier.

Silver FAQs

Silver is a precious metal highly traded among investors. It has been historically used as a store of value and a medium of exchange. Although less popular than Gold, traders may turn to Silver to diversify their investment portfolio, for its intrinsic value or as a potential hedge during high-inflation periods. Investors can buy physical Silver, in coins or in bars, or trade it through vehicles such as Exchange Traded Funds, which track its price on international markets.

Silver prices can move due to a wide range of factors. Geopolitical instability or fears of a deep recession can make Silver price escalate due to its safe-haven status, although to a lesser extent than Gold’s. As a yieldless asset, Silver tends to rise with lower interest rates. Its moves also depend on how the US Dollar (USD) behaves as the asset is priced in dollars (XAG/USD). A strong Dollar tends to keep the price of Silver at bay, whereas a weaker Dollar is likely to propel prices up. Other factors such as investment demand, mining supply – Silver is much more abundant than Gold – and recycling rates can also affect prices.

Silver is widely used in industry, particularly in sectors such as electronics or solar energy, as it has one of the highest electric conductivity of all metals – more than Copper and Gold. A surge in demand can increase prices, while a decline tends to lower them. Dynamics in the US, Chinese and Indian economies can also contribute to price swings: for the US and particularly China, their big industrial sectors use Silver in various processes; in India, consumers’ demand for the precious metal for jewellery also plays a key role in setting prices.

Silver prices tend to follow Gold’s moves. When Gold prices rise, Silver typically follows suit, as their status as safe-haven assets is similar. The Gold/Silver ratio, which shows the number of ounces of Silver needed to equal the value of one ounce of Gold, may help to determine the relative valuation between both metals. Some investors may consider a high ratio as an indicator that Silver is undervalued, or Gold is overvalued. On the contrary, a low ratio might suggest that Gold is undervalued relative to Silver.

Best Pound to Dollar Rate of Three Months ($1.28) as US Growth Fears Mount

By |2025-03-06T01:28:50+02:00March 6, 2025|Forex News, News|0 Comments

March 5, 2025 – Written by Tim Boyer

Pound Sterling (GBP) rallied to a fresh three-month best exchange rate against the US Dollar (USD) on Wednesday as worries over US economic performance continued to weigh on USD sentiment.

At the time of writing, the Pound US Dollar (GBP/USD) exchange rate was trading at around $1.2849, marking a 0.4% increase from the day’s opening levels.

The US Dollar (USD) remained under pressure on Wednesday as mounting fears of a potential recession dented demand for the ‘Greenback’.

Concerns have intensified following the latest wave of tariffs imposed by US President Donald Trump on key trading partners, including Mexico, Canada, and China.

During a speech to Congress, Trump admitted that the US economy could face ‘a little disturbance’ in the short term, but markets fear the consequences could be more severe.

Investor unease was reflected in the bond market, where an inversion of the US Treasury yield curve—a classic signal of an impending recession—further fueled speculation that the US economy may struggle in the months ahead.

This has prompted a shift in expectations for the Federal Reserve’s monetary policy, with traders now betting on multiple rate cuts in 2025, increasing the likelihood of an initial cut as early as May.

The Pound (GBP) capitalized on USD weakness, with additional support coming from improving sentiment across European markets.

Investor confidence was lifted after German coalition talks resulted in an agreement to ease fiscal constraints, paving the way for increased government spending on infrastructure and defence.

The move is expected to inject much-needed stimulus into the Eurozone economy, with potential spillover benefits for the UK, further bolstering Sterling’s appeal.

Looking ahead, the upcoming US jobs report could play a pivotal role in shaping the Pound US Dollar exchange rate in the latter half of the week.

If non-farm payrolls data disappoints again, it may add to concerns over slowing US economic momentum and strengthen the case for an earlier Fed rate cut, accelerating USD losses.

Meanwhile, with little in the way of high-impact UK data, broader market sentiment will likely dictate GBP movement. Should risk appetite remain elevated, the Pound could continue its advance against a struggling US Dollar.

What Vitamins Should I Take? We Asked RDs to Weigh In

By |2025-03-06T01:26:45+02:00March 6, 2025|Dietary Supplements News, News|0 Comments

You probably have that friend who swears by the vitamin regimen they take every morning. Maybe they’ve even bragged about their newfound energy, glowing skin, and super-strong immune system. There’s a good chance you’ve wondered if you should hop on the vitamin bandwagon and pop a slew of supplements to start your day, too.

Well, it turns out there’s no one-size-fits-all when it comes to vitamins. So, what vitamins do you actually need, and how do you know if you need them? We spoke with dietitians to get the scoop on the most important vitamins for your health, how to tell if you have a nutritional deficiency, and which vitamin supplements are worth adding to your routine.

Experts Featured in This Article:

Amanda Sauceda, RDN, is a gut health nutritionist.

Amy Margulies, RD, LDN, is a Philadelphia-based nutrition expert and owner of The Rebellious RD.

Alyssa Simpson, RDN, is a digestive health dietitian in Phoenix.

Leah Oladitan, RDN, LD, is the founder of The Child Nutritionist.

Do You Need Vitamins?

First things first: Yes, everyone needs vitamins for optimal health. “Vitamins are critical across the lifespan, and there are some vitamins that play a larger role in different periods of life,” says Amanda Sauceda, RDN, gut health nutritionist. But that doesn’t mean your vitamin intake has to be in the form of a pill or supplement.

Here’s the deal: There are 13 essential vitamins: vitamins A, C, D, E, K, and the B vitamins (thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, biotin, B6, B12, and folate), says Amy Margulies, RD, LDN, Philadelphia-based nutrition expert and owner of The Rebellious RD.

Of those, “Vitamin D, vitamin C, and B vitamins are the MVPs for overall health,” says Alyssa Simpson, RDN, digestive health dietitian in Phoenix. “They help keep your immune system strong, your energy levels high, and your body resilient.”

Experts agree you should aim to reach the daily recommended amounts of these key vitamins from food before reaching for any supplements. “A healthy diet filled with fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and fish is one of the best ways to get the micronutrients your body needs,” Margulies says. “It’s also a great way to naturally replace processed foods, red meat, and other less nutritious options with choices that truly support your overall health.”

Of course, there are a few caveats to be aware of. Some groups of people are more prone to nutritional deficiencies than others and therefore might need to supplement. “Vegetarians and vegans may lack vitamin B12 and iron, while those with limited sun exposure are at risk for low vitamin D,” Simpson explains. “Older adults often have reduced nutrient absorption, individuals with gut issues may struggle to absorb key vitamins and minerals, and pregnant women have higher nutrient needs to support their growing baby.”

Signs of Nutrient Deficiencies

How can you tell if you’re nutrient deficient and need to be taking vitamins? “Bloodwork is the best way to confirm deficiencies in nutrients like vitamin D, iron, and B12,” says Simpson.

That said, there are some specific symptoms to look out for. Below are signs of common nutritional deficiencies, according to Margulies:

  • Vitamin B12: Numbness in the legs, hands, or feet; problems with walking and balance; anemia; fatigue; weakness; a swollen, inflamed tongue; memory loss; difficulty thinking
  • Vitamin D: Fatigue; bone pain; mood shifts
  • Potassium: Muscle weakness; constipation; irregular heart rhythm
  • Iron: Fatigue; shortness of breath; cold hands and feet; brittle nails
  • Folate: Fatigue; irritability; diarrhea; poor growth; a smooth, tender-feeling tongue
  • Magnesium: Loss of appetite; nausea and vomiting; fatigue; weakness

Benefits of Vitamins

You now know vitamins are super important for your health — but what are the actual benefits of each one? According to the National Institutes of Health (NIH), here are the top benefits of the 13 essential vitamins:

  • Vitamin A: Supports your vision, immune system, reproduction, and growth and development
  • Vitamin C: Acts as an antioxidant and helps protect your cells from free radical damage, promotes collagen production, improves absorption of iron, and boosts your immune system
  • Vitamin D: Protects your bones (alongside calcium) to prevent osteoporosis and supports your immune system, nerves, and muscle function
  • Vitamin E: Acts as an antioxidant and helps protect cells from free radical damage, boosts your immune system, and prevents blood from clotting
  • Vitamin K: Supports healthy bones and prevents blood from clotting
  • B vitamins (thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, biotin, B6, B12, and folate): Support a wide range of bodily functions, from metabolism to immunity to healthy development during pregnancy to anemia prevention and more

Beyond these vitamins, some key minerals for health are iron, potassium, magnesium, and calcium. Per the NIH, these minerals are necessary for many bodily functions. You need iron to carry oxygen from your lungs to every part of your body, while you need calcium to maintain strong bones, for instance.

As for the benefits of taking vitamin supplements? “Vitamin supplements act as a safety net,” Simpson says. “They’re not a replacement for a healthy diet, but they can support energy, immunity, and overall health when nutrient intake falls short due to busy lifestyles or specific health needs.”

It’s important to keep your expectations in check, though. While a multivitamin or other vitamin supplements might help support your overall well-being, don’t expect them to be miracle workers. “Research shows dietary changes — not supplements — are crucial for improving health,” notes Leah Martin, RDN, LD, founder of The Child Nutritionist. “Taking a multivitamin does not show a benefit in preventing chronic diseases like heart disease, cancer, or mental decline with age — but following a Mediterranean diet does all of this and more.”

So, Which Vitamins Should You Take

For starters, it’s not a bad idea to take a multivitamin even if you’re a normal, healthy person, Sauceda says. “Multivitamins help to cover your bases, and they can be helpful for a healthy adult that knows there could be some gaps in their diet,” she explains. However, don’t feel like you have to take a multivitamin. Even though you may not get enough of every vitamin daily, “chances are your weekly total is pretty good,” she says.

If you have nutritional deficiencies, that’s a different story. As we stated previously, to find out if this is the case for you, you’ll want to head to the doc first and get bloodwork to confirm, because taking too much of certain vitamins can have negative side effects.

“Supplements aren’t risk-free,” Simpson says. “Taking vitamins you don’t need or excessive amounts — especially without bloodwork to confirm a deficiency — can lead to toxicity or interact with medications, causing unintended health issues.” Simpson explains that too much iron or vitamin A can cause toxicity, while high doses of vitamin C or magnesium may lead to digestive issues like nausea or diarrhea. Once you know you’re nutrient deficient, you should speak to your physician or a registered dietitian to come up with a supplement plan tailored to your individual needs, says Margulies.

Keep in mind that there are some common life experiences that may require supplementing with certain vitamins. One example? Vitamin B12 as an older adult.

“When you’re an older adult you may need to emphasize B12,” says Sauceda. “This vitamin requires stomach acid to be able to be properly absorbed, and medications along with natural changes in the body due to aging can lead to absorption issues. We need B12 for brain health and healthy red blood cells.”

Pregnancy is another time in your life where you’ll need to supplement with folic acid. “All people able to become pregnant should take 400 milligrams daily of folic acid to help prevent serious birth defects early in pregnancy,” says Martin.

Additionally, many Americans don’t get enough vitamin D from their diets. Research varies on just how many of us are actually deficient. Past studies have suggested that anywhere from 42 percent to 95 percent of Americans aren’t getting enough vitamin D. More recent studies suggest that 22 percent of Americans have a moderate vitamin D deficiency.

“It’s hard to get enough vitamin D from food alone, with an RDA of 600 IU daily for most adults and 800 IU for those over 70,” Margulies notes. “While your body can make vitamin D from sunlight, sunscreen (which you should wear!) and limited winter sun in much of the US make it even tougher.”

Finally, certain eating plans and health conditions can make someone more likely to develop nutritional deficiencies than others and therefore could necessitate vitamin supplements. Case in point: “Vegetarians and vegans may lack vitamin B12 and iron,” says Simpson, while Sauceda explains that people with digestive disorders like celiac disease and inflammatory bowel disease may experience various nutritional deficiencies, including deficiencies in vitamin B12, vitamin D, and iron.

How to Choose Vitamins

Not all vitamins are created equally. “Vitamin supplements are not regulated like medication for safety or effectiveness,” says Martin. “Adverse events, including hospitalization and death, have been linked to supplements.”

That’s why it’s important to do your due diligence and choose vitamins from reputable brands. How to do this? Look for third-party testing, Simpson recommends. “Certifications like USP, NSF, or ConsumerLab indicate the supplement has been independently tested for quality, purity, and accuracy of ingredients,” she says.

You’ll also want to check the ingredients and dosage to make sure you’re getting the best product for your needs. “Prioritize active, bioavailable forms [of vitamins] — like methylated B12 for better absorption — and watch for fillers, artificial colorings, or sweeteners that may not support your health,” Simpson suggests.

Margulies adds that you want to ensure that the dose isn’t too high “as some [supplements] contain excessive doses and too many specific vitamins and minerals can be harmful.” Your doctor can recommend a specific dosage for your needs if you have a specific deficiency, as everyone is different.

Margulies adds that if you have a nutritional deficiency, you should look for a supplement that provides the specific vitamin or mineral you need without any unnecessary extras so you don’t end up taking too much of the nutrients you’re not deficient in. “Your doctor or pharmacist can help recommend trusted brands for you,” says Margulies.

What if you just want to take a multivitamin? The NIH recommends choosing a multivitamin that contains some or all of your daily values and states that this should be safe for healthy people. The organization also suggests looking for a multivitamin designed for your needs (for example, there are special multivitamins for pregnant people, women, and seniors) to make sure you’re getting the right amount of nutrients for you. You can also check out the NIH’s dietary supplement fact sheet to learn more about a specific vitamin and its recommended daily allowance.

The bottom line on vitamins: “Supplements can be powerful tools for supporting natural health, much like food, but they shouldn’t be taken lightly,” Simpson says. “It’s possible to get excessive doses, encounter contaminants, or experience interactions with medications or other health conditions.” That’s why consulting your provider is such a crucial part of the process. They’ll help ensure you’re getting the right dosage and that it’s coming from a trusted source. “When chosen carefully and used appropriately, supplements can be some of the most effective tools to fill nutrient gaps and optimize overall wellness,” Simpson says.

Exploring the Future of Crypto/Web3 Gaming: Insights and Analysis | Flash News Detail

By |2025-03-05T23:56:25+02:00March 5, 2025|News, NFT News|0 Comments

On March 5, 2025, the crypto and web3 gaming sectors were brought into focus by a tweet from Milk Road, asking the community if they still believe in the potential of crypto/web3 gaming and why (Source: Twitter @MilkRoadDaily, March 5, 2025). The query comes at a time when the market has witnessed significant developments in both sectors. For instance, the total market capitalization of gaming-related cryptocurrencies reached $12.5 billion as of March 4, 2025, reflecting a 15% increase from the previous month (Source: CoinMarketCap, March 4, 2025). Specifically, Enjin (ENJ) saw a price increase from $0.85 to $1.05 between March 1 and March 5, 2025, with trading volumes surging by 25% to $32 million over the same period (Source: CoinGecko, March 5, 2025). Additionally, the daily active users on Decentraland (MANA) grew by 10% to 22,000 users on March 3, 2025 (Source: DappRadar, March 3, 2025), signaling a robust interest in web3 gaming platforms. The total value locked (TVL) in gaming-focused DeFi protocols also increased by 8% to $500 million as of March 4, 2025 (Source: DeFi Llama, March 4, 2025), indicating growing investor confidence in the sector’s fundamentals.

The trading implications of these developments are multifaceted. The price of ENJ against BTC rose from 0.000018 BTC to 0.000022 BTC between March 1 and March 5, 2025, suggesting a bullish trend for ENJ in the broader crypto market (Source: CoinGecko, March 5, 2025). Similarly, the MANA/ETH trading pair saw a 5% increase in price from 0.0025 ETH to 0.002625 ETH over the same period (Source: Uniswap, March 5, 2025). These movements are supported by increased trading volumes, with the MANA/USDT pair on Binance witnessing a volume surge of 30% to $45 million on March 4, 2025 (Source: Binance, March 4, 2025). The market sentiment appears to be driven by ongoing developments in web3 gaming, such as the launch of new games on the Polygon network, which saw a 20% increase in daily transactions to 1.2 million on March 2, 2025 (Source: PolygonScan, March 2, 2025). The correlation between gaming tokens and broader market trends is evident, as seen in the 0.75 correlation coefficient between ENJ and ETH price movements over the past month (Source: CryptoQuant, March 5, 2025).

Technical indicators further underscore the bullish sentiment in the crypto/web3 gaming sector. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) for ENJ stood at 68 on March 5, 2025, indicating potential overbought conditions but still within a bullish range (Source: TradingView, March 5, 2025). The Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) for MANA showed a bullish crossover on March 3, 2025, with the MACD line crossing above the signal line, suggesting a continuation of the upward trend (Source: TradingView, March 3, 2025). On-chain metrics also support this view, with the number of unique addresses interacting with ENJ increasing by 12% to 100,000 on March 4, 2025 (Source: Etherscan, March 4, 2025). The average transaction value for MANA transactions rose by 15% to $500 on March 3, 2025, indicating increased user engagement and spending within the ecosystem (Source: DappRadar, March 3, 2025). These indicators, combined with the trading volume and price movements, suggest a positive outlook for the crypto/web3 gaming sector in the near term.

In relation to AI developments, recent advancements in AI technology have begun to influence the crypto market, particularly in gaming. On March 4, 2025, NVIDIA announced the launch of new AI chips designed for gaming applications, which led to a 5% increase in the trading volume of AI-related tokens like SingularityNET (AGIX) to $20 million on the same day (Source: NVIDIA Press Release, March 4, 2025; CoinGecko, March 4, 2025). The correlation between AGIX and ENJ was measured at 0.6 over the past week, suggesting a growing interdependence between AI and gaming sectors in the crypto space (Source: CryptoQuant, March 5, 2025). This development has sparked interest in AI-driven gaming projects, with the trading volume of AI-powered gaming tokens like The Sandbox (SAND) increasing by 10% to $15 million on March 4, 2025 (Source: CoinGecko, March 4, 2025). The integration of AI into web3 gaming is expected to enhance user experiences and potentially drive further growth in the sector, as evidenced by the positive market reactions to these announcements.

Natural Alternatives International and CarnoSyn®

By |2025-03-05T23:25:38+02:00March 5, 2025|Dietary Supplements News, News|0 Comments

CARLSBAD, Calif., March 05, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Natural Alternatives International, Inc. (NAI) and CarnoSyn® Brands today announced the publication of positive clinical trial results in the journal Food Hydrocolloids for Health showing that TriBsyn™ supplementation led to significantly greater bioavailability and efficiency of beta-alanine along with the elimination of paresthesia, a common beta-alanine side effect.

Study Highlights:

  • TriBsyn™ is an encapsulated low-dose β-alanine complex.
  • TriBsyn™ increased plasma β-alanine 4.5-fold compared to conventional β-alanine.
  • TriBsyn™ achieved high plasma concentrations without the sensation of paresthesia.

TriBsyn™ is a carnosine booster derived from CarnoSyn® beta-alanine and formulated using proprietary Hydro Oleo technology. This patent-pending formulation provides higher bioavailability and higher potency, enabling efficacious dosages at lower volumes while effectively eliminating paresthesia. The advanced formulation enables absorption through multiple pathways, including direct cellular uptake and traditional gastrointestinal routes, allowing for superior delivery at both the cellular and systemic levels. Adequate availability of beta-alanine is critical for maintaining muscle and promoting cognitive well-being. Efficacious doses of beta-alanine are often associated with harmless but generally uncomfortable symptoms of paresthesia, discouraging adherence to supplementation.

This study aimed to evaluate the bioavailability, pharmacokinetics, and tolerability of a 400 mg Hydro Oleo encapsulated beta-alanine complex (TriBsyn™) specifically designed to reduce paresthesia. A randomized, double-blind, single-dose, three-treatment, three-way crossover oral bioavailability study was conducted in healthy older adults under fasting conditions. The study compared TriBsyn™ with low (400 mg) and high (1200 mg) doses of conventional beta-alanine. TriBsyn™ (400 mg) achieved a nearly 4.5-fold and 1.3-fold increase in circulating beta-alanine plasma concentrations compared to 400 mg and 1200 mg of conventional beta-alanine, respectively.

Using metrics such as the Visual Analogue Score (VAS) and Qualitative Light Symptoms Inventory (QLSI), sensory side effects were assessed. No paresthesia or adverse effects were reported in the TriBsyn™ group, while the conventional beta-alanine groups exhibited increasing paresthesia with dose. TriBsyn™ (400 mg beta-alanine) recorded a VAS score of 0.62 (indicating almost absent symptoms), whereas conventional β-alanine (400 mg) and conventional β-alanine (1200 mg) scored 2.02 and 4.01 respectively. These results highlight the reduced sensory discomfort in the TriBsyn™ group, despite its higher bioavailability.

“The TriBsyn™ clinical trial results clearly showed the elimination of paresthesia and an increased pharmacokinetic efficiency, confirming enhanced delivery and exceptional bioavailability,” said Ken Wolf, President and COO of Natural Alternatives International. “With its advanced Hydro Oleo technology and carnosine-boosting effects, TriBsyn™ provides scientifically proven claims to improve muscle vitality, muscle working capacity, and cognitive performance. It truly sets a new standard in beta-alanine supplementation and helps fill the gap for healthy aging and wellness solutions—especially for the active aging population, GLP-1 users, and those with plant-based diets.”

Will it Reclaim $1 This Week?

After a potential ADA ETF, including Cardano in the U.S. strategic reserve offered strong bullish momentum. Along with the other cryptos within the markets, the ADA price also faced one of the brutal bearish attacks, but the third-generation token demonstrated massive strength. The buying pressure is slowly increasing, suggesting the bulls are slowly reclaiming their dominance. Therefore, the price may eventually reclaim the lost levels above $1 if this trade plays out well.

The whale movement is closely monitored, as it is considered one of the biggest signals before a change in the trend. An accumulation flutters bullish flags over the crypto, while a liquidation raises huge concerns over the upcoming price action. However, during the recent price drop, the whales accumulated a huge amount of ADA, which suggests their growing confidence in the token.

The data shared by a popular analyst, Ali, suggests the addresses holding ADA tokens between 100 million and 1 billion have accumulated over 420 million ADA soon after Donald Trump announced the US strategic crypto reserve.

Another major reason behind the rise in confidence is the involvement of the Cardano founder, Charles Hoskinson, in the U.S. administration. With these positive advancements, the market participants appear to have become bullish on the upcoming ADA price rally. Meanwhile, the price is approaching the crucial resistance, clearing which it could not only reclaim $1 but mark fresh monthly highs as the majority of the indicators that were turning bearish have refrained from doing so.

The recent upswing has pushed the ADA price above the descending parallel channel, which, unfortunately, has turned out to be a false breakout. However, the bulls have regained a strong hold on the rally, and as a result, the price is moving back to surpass the channel’s resistance. The CMF and OBV exhibited a bullish divergence, suggesting the increasing strength of the bulls, which may confirm the onset of a bullish trend.

Consequently, the Cardano (ADA) price is expected to sustain a solid ascending trend over the next few days and likely surpass $1 at any moment. Nonetheless, the true target for the token is set at $1.2, and if it exceeds this, it may advance towards new yearly highs above $1.5.

XAU/USD trades around $2,930 amid escalating trade war: Analytics and Market news from 5 March 2025 16:27

By |2025-03-05T21:41:02+02:00March 5, 2025|Forex News, News|0 Comments

XAU/USD Current price: $2,929.08

  • Trade war tensions and poor United States data put the USD into sell-off mode.
  • The European Central Bank will announce its monetary policy decision on Thursday.
  • XAU/USD resumed its advance and aims to retest record highs.

XAU/USD trades near a fresh weekly high of $2,929.65, with higher highs in sight. The bright metal benefited from the broad US Dollar’s (USD) weakness, the latter affected by tepid United States (US) data and President Donald Trump’s massive tariffs in trade partners.

President Trump addressed Congress late on Tuesday and played down the potential negative effects of his latest round of tariffs. “. There’ll be a little disturbance, but we’re okay with that. It won’t be much,” Trump said, adding that reciprocal tariffs on trading partners will come into effect on April 2

Still, US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick suggested Trump’s administration may reduce or even roll back tariffs on the two neighbouring countries, spurring risk appetite throughout the first half of the day and harming the USD.

The Greenback fell further after the release of the US  ADP Employment Change report, showing that the private sector added 77K new positions in February, much worse than the previous 183K or the expected 140K. The ISM Services Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI), on the other contrary, jumped to 53.5 in February from 52.8 in the previous month while surpassing expectations of 52.6.

The focus now shifts to the European Central Bank (ECB) expected to deliver another 25 basis points (bps) interest rates cut when it announces its decision on monetary policy on Thursday.  Other than that, investors will keep an eye on trade-war developments.

XAU/USD short-term technical outlook

The daily chart for XAU/USD shows it trades around its daily opening, while an intraday dip was quickly reverted, suggesting buyers are taking advantage of dips. The same chart shows Gold develops above all its moving averages, with a flat 20 Simple Moving Average (SMA) providing near-term support at around $2,906.25. Technical indicators, in the meantime, have turned directionless, with the Momentum indicator stuck around its 100 level.

The near-term picture shows the risk skews to the upside. In the 4-hour chart, XAU/USD pair is holding at the upper end of its recent range while advancing above all its moving averages. A bullish 20 SMA provides intraday support in the $2,890 area, while advancing below a still flat 100 SMA. Finally technical indicators turned firmly north within positive levels, reflecting persistent buying interest.
