Black Lotus Shilajit returns to Newtopia Now with Rose Shilajit Tincture

By |2025-07-31T09:36:01+03:00July 31, 2025|Dietary Supplements News, News|0 Comments

Nico Zabalza, co-founder, co-owner and CEO of Black Lotus Shilajit calls shilajit—a sticky tar-like substance found in mountains in Asia—a supplement that supports overall better health.

“It’s human fertilizer,” Zabalza said. “It’s what is missing in the food, in the dirty stuff that we used to eat with soil on it.”

Shilajit is gaining traction as a supplement. For centuries, it’s long been lauded in Ayurvedic medicine as a health regulator, an immune system modulator with neuroprotective properties. Still, research by western science is lacking, as the  Journal of Ethnopharmacology and the Cleveland Clinic have noted. More than a decade ago, the International Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease published a report on shilajit’s potential as a dietary supplement to support cognitive health, while citing the need for more biological investigations and clinical trials to understand it better.

Shilajit, a black mineral resin, forms after organic compounds and decomposed plants, like fossilized plant and animal matter, trace minerals and sediments bind together over thousands of years. What makes Shilajit stand out is its unique mixture. It’s rich in fulvic and humic acids, which form after plant and animal matter decay. It seems to improve nutrient absorption in both soil and people.

“Shilajit has 85 ionic trace minerals, amino acids, vitamins, fulvic and humic acids, and rare compounds like dibenzo-a-pyrones and Carbon 60, which are unique to only very rare things on the planet,” Zabalza said. “It has the most fulvic acid of anything in nature, in a naturally occurring non-processed form. It’s a super complex form of carbon that’s impossible to recreate or synthesize. It can only be formed by the earth.”

Many people believe shilajit stimulates the immune system, supports inflammatory conditions and reduces chronic fatigue, among other issues. The International Journal of Ayurveda Research has called shilajit a herbomineral drug and “a panacea for high-altitude problems.” He experienced a boost in mental clarity and stamina, both physically and mentally, after taking shilajit, Zabalza said.

“I believe that humates, which shilajit could be classified as, will be a new category of supplements,” Zabalza said. “I think this is one of the missing things in health food stores.” While most shilajit comes from the Himalayan mountains, Zabalza gets his from the Altai Mountains in Siberia. In the summer, the rocks split open and start “sweating” it out, Zabalza said. “It literally oozes out of the tops of the mountains,” he said.

Shilajit is harvested off the rocks, then dissolved in water to filter out sediments, rocks and clay. In the sun, the water evaporates off and what is left is pure resin. It was discovered, Zabalza said, after local villagers saw monkeys and goats eat it.

The co-founders of Black Lotus and an unidentified man display a variety of product at the Black Lotus Shilajit booth.

Scaling a sustainable brand

Since launching Black Lotus Shilajit in 2019, Zabalza and his co-founder, Co-CEO Kristian Jecmenica, have scaled their Florida-based business, moving from farmers markets and holistic health events to direct-to-consumer sales during the COVID-19 pandemic. Then it reached out to natural retailers.

Black Lotus Shilajit’s product line includes tablets, tinctures, honey, salve and soaps. Its best-known products, the Pure Shilajit Resin and Pure Shilajit Tablets are dissolvable in milk, water or tea. Its newest product, which will be showcased at Newtopia Now, is a Rose Shilajit Tincture. It’s made with organic rose water, raw shilajit and coconut oil-derived glycerin. It can be added to a beverage to consume or to a skin cream to create a face mask.

The brand’s mission is to help people reach their optimal health.

They launched Black Lotus in Paradise Health and Nutrition, a health foods store Zabalza previously worked at located in Melbourne, Florida. Soon, Sunseed Natural Foods Co-op in Cape Canaveral, Florida, and Peggy’s Natural Foods in Hobe Sound, Florida, gave them a chance. Eventually, they found a broker who helped them scale. That’s morphed into Black Lotus Shilajit being sold in more than 600 stores in 38 states. It also has more than 250,000 customers on its website.

“We’ve grown quite a lot,” Zabalza said. “A year ago, we opened our own facility in Florida, a state-of-the art packaging and manufacturing facility, with shipping and fulfillment.”

In late May, the 1,600-square facility in Port St. Lucie, Florida, became GMP-certified. Zabalza said expanding has helped Black Lotus Shilajit’s commitment to sustainability. Its products are packaged in Miron biophotonic violet glass to filter out “detrimental light frequencies.” The company uses biodegrable packing peanuts, compostable mailers and kraft paper tape. “Our shilajit is cleanly and ethically sourced to protect the Earth and preserve the integrity of the land it comes from,” Zabalza said.

Assam Tea Growers Threaten Stir Over Low Green Leaf Price

By |2025-07-31T07:34:49+03:00July 31, 2025|Dietary Supplements News, News|0 Comments

Staff Reporter

Guwahati: The price of green tea leaves has fallen in a few districts of Upper Assam. Following this, the Jorhat District Committee of the All Assam Small Tea Growers’ Association has threatened to hit the streets after August 2, to protest the falling price of green tea leaves. The tea growers’ body stated that they have already informed the district commissioner (DC) of Jorhat district regarding the fall in prices and the planned demonstration.

Small tea growers contribute around 50% to the total tea production of the state. Assamese youths are primarily connected to the production of green tea leaves, with a majority of small tea gardens established by this section of the society.

Talking to The Sentinel, secretary of the Jorhat District Committee of All Assam Small Tea Growers’ Association, Krishna Prasad Sarma, today said, “We got to a certain extent good prices for our green leaves at the start of the season but towards the second week of July, the prices started to fall gradually. Now, bought leaf factories in Jorhat district are paying between Rs 18 and Rs 22 per kg of green leaf. Some of the bought leaf factories have put up signs saying that the best quality leaves would be sold for Rs 30 per kg. However, some of the factories do not pay Rs 30 even if we supply best quality green leaf. If we’re paid Rs 18 to Rs 22 per kg, we are not even able to cover our costs. But, the made tea manufactured by the factories from our green leaf fetches them good prices in the market.”

He added, “On July 29, we met the Jorhat DC to apprise him of the situation and the demonstration planned by us after August 2. We will wait for a response till then. After that we will not remain in our gardens but hit the streets in protest. Every year, we face the same issue, but the government has not taken any steps to correct the situation. We hope the state government will be more proactive this time.”

President of the committee, Jibon Saikia, and a few other senior functionaries of the committee comprised the delegation that met the Jorhat DC yesterday. The team also met the officials of the Jorhat office of the Tea Board of India.

The Growing Importance of GoldAlign in 2025

In 2025, the demand for cognitive support tools continues to surge as more people confront the realities of mental fatigue, constant digital stimulation, and high-output professional or academic settings. Whether it’s the long-term toll of screen time, the ambient pressure of multitasking, or the emotional depletion from modern stress load, brain health has transitioned from a niche interest into a foundational wellness priority.

GoldAlign is entering this conversation at the right time. The product is designed with usability and composure in mind – making it well-suited to people seeking long-term mental resilience rather than short-term stimulation. Lifestyle framing is central to GoldAlign’s appeal: it doesn’t promise to transform your brain overnight, but it does align with a consumer base that values stability, clarity, and clean input strategies.

Trends like digital fatigue and multi-sensory overstimulation have prompted consumers to rethink their approach to mental performance. Rather than pushing harder with high-caffeine stacks or mood-elevating synthetics, many are seeking low-interference options that support cognitive hygiene. For this audience, Learning More About GoldAlign helps see why it continues to build credibility as a modern support tool.

What Is GoldAlign and How Is It Structured?

GoldAlign is positioned not as a stimulant-laced performance booster, but as a thoughtful, stack-compatible formula intended to support day-to-day clarity. Its formulation focuses on brain-friendly compounds known for their tolerance profile and cognitive alignment, rather than relying on artificial energy or neurotransmitter overrides.

Its structure emphasizes simplicity – a welcome shift for wellness users overwhelmed by aggressive blends and trendy synthetics. By focusing on transparency, it gives users full visibility into what they’re taking and how it may support their routine. This simplicity is especially important in a market flooded with proprietary blends that often obscure dosage clarity or ingredient sourcing.

Beyond the ingredients themselves, GoldAlign has usability built into its design. There are no complex timing protocols, no cycling windows, and no harsh interactions with food or other wellness products. Users can easily integrate it into existing morning or midday routines without disruption.

Whether you’re using nootropics for the first time or looking for a gentler alternative, Explore the Brain Health Supplement Reviews for GoldAlign to see why its structure appeals to both new and experienced wellness users.

What Reviewers Are Saying About GoldAlign

Affiliate reviewers have largely praised GoldAlign for its clean-label integrity and reliable compatibility with broader cognitive stacks. The tone across platforms is generally aligned around one key insight: GoldAlign isn’t trying to over-engineer a solution. It simply provides cognitive support that fits modern lifestyles.

Many reviewers highlight how GoldAlign sidesteps the common traps of “performance-focused” formulas – like relying too heavily on stimulants, novelty actives, or flashy ingredients with minimal backing. Instead, it draws attention for its balance, ingredient transparency, and low-friction integration into daily use.

Another consistent praise pattern involves its usability across demographics. Affiliate writers frequently note that GoldAlign can be positioned as a base-layer support – useful on its own, or as part of a broader brain health regimen. It does not demand constant monitoring or precise stack timing.

For a curated view of those reviewer insights, Read the Expert Breakdown of GoldAlign and explore how it’s currently being framed in top-tier coverage.

Comparing GoldAlign to Competitors in the Brain Health Supplement Space

When placed side-by-side with other cognitive support options in 2025, GoldAlign holds a strong position on several fronts: ingredient logic, stimulant-free usability, and formulation transparency. Unlike performance-first products that promise fast results at the cost of sustainability, GoldAlign operates from a framework of daily compatibility and longevity-focused design.

In an era where clean-label credentials matter more than ever, GoldAlign stands out for avoiding artificial dyes, masking agents, and untraceable proprietary compounds. This has become especially important to wellness-driven consumers, who increasingly scrutinize sourcing, processing, and filler logic as part of their decision-making process.

Equally notable is the formula’s accessibility. GoldAlign doesn’t require the user to adopt aggressive cycling schedules or compensate for stimulant comedowns. Instead, it’s part of a newer wave of “non-interruptive” cognitive support – a trend gaining traction among professionals, multitaskers, and those managing energy-sensitive routines.

To see why this shift matters, See Why GoldAlign Was Ranked Among the Best in today’s growing list of non-invasive mental wellness tools.

Deeper Look at GoldAlign’s Ingredient or Feature Philosophy

The formulation philosophy behind GoldAlign is built on the idea that cognitive support should enhance clarity without overriding natural systems. Instead of leaning on synthetic energy or performance pressure, GoldAlign focuses on compounds that align with the body’s existing cognitive pathways, making it an ideal option for modern wellness routines.

One of the primary pillars of its ingredient logic is metabolic neutrality. GoldAlign avoids disrupting cortisol or dopamine patterns, which often occurs in high-stimulant blends. Instead, it uses ingredients that support neuronal signaling, attention regulation, and cognitive steadiness without triggering excitability or dependence.

Another support angle is compatibility. Whether users are supplementing with omega-3s, adaptogens, or electrolytes, GoldAlign is stackable by design. This non-reactive logic appeals to wellness enthusiasts who are managing complex routines or layering multiple self-care tools.

Additionally, its formula reflects clean-label priorities. There are no synthetic dyes, hidden fillers, or masking agents designed to manipulate user perception. This kind of label transparency has become a non-negotiable for many 2025 consumers who seek tools that respect their health literacy and ingredient standards.

Finally, GoldAlign’s structure supports what wellness experts call “non-linear performance pacing” – the idea that mental clarity isn’t a race but a rhythm. Instead of a single burst of focus, GoldAlign helps support consistent clarity over time.

For a closer view of how its formulation reflects these principles, Discover the Structure Behind Brain Health Supplement Supplements and review its full ingredient strategy.

How Affiliate Reviewers Rate GoldAlign

Across review blogs, affiliate rankings, and cognitive performance roundups, GoldAlign continues to receive consistent recognition for three primary qualities: its usability, its balanced positioning, and its role as a clean-label standard in brain support.

Reviewers often emphasize that GoldAlign doesn’t rely on exaggerated performance claims or flashy biohacking terminology. Instead, it earns trust by staying grounded – promoting itself as a tool for clarity, focus, and cognitive alignment without overstepping into unsubstantiated outcomes.

Usability is a top-ranking factor. Whether consumers are microdosing other supplements, managing stimulant sensitivity, or juggling unpredictable work rhythms, GoldAlign is designed to integrate smoothly into most lifestyles. This flexibility has become a major selling point in affiliate publications targeting remote workers, wellness influencers, and neurodivergent consumers.

What’s also notable is the tone of respect with which GoldAlign is discussed. Reviewers tend to frame it as a mature product – one that doesn’t demand center stage but performs reliably in the background. This kind of positioning aligns with a growing consumer trend toward sustainable, non-disruptive tools.

The Science or Technical Framework Behind Brain Health Supplement

The formulation strategy of GoldAlign is informed by technical design principles rooted in behavioral wellness, metabolic compatibility, and ingredient clarity. Rather than focusing on extreme enhancement or artificial stimulation, GoldAlign reflects a newer cognitive support model – one built around coherence, not confrontation.

At a technical level, its structure emphasizes pathways that relate to neurotransmitter balance and neural network communication, without attempting to override those processes. It uses nutrients known to support executive function and attentional flow in a cumulative, non-jarring manner.

From a usability perspective, it’s a low-maintenance tool. There’s no adaptation curve, no stacking instructions required, and no high-sensitivity interactions. This makes it attractive to users who want functionality without disruption – especially in work-from-home settings, entrepreneurial routines, or academic study schedules.

Consumer feedback consistently highlights ease of integration and consistency of experience. Many describe GoldAlign as the “background clarity” supplement – something that supports focus without interrupting energy flow.

Who Might Consider Trying GoldAlign

While GoldAlign is not marketed toward any one demographic, review content and affiliate commentary indicate several distinct user profiles that frequently engage with the product. One of the most prominent is the multitasking professional – individuals managing long hours, shifting priorities, and constant digital input.

Another key group is wellness-centric consumers, particularly those with a background in holistic or functional health. This audience appreciates GoldAlign’s clean-label credentials and non-stimulant positioning, as it fits neatly into broader wellness stacks that include mindfulness tools, adaptogens, and dietary optimization.

Aging adults are another audience segment. Rather than chasing memory claims or aggressive interventions, they’re looking for sustainable support options that respect long-term use. GoldAlign’s non-invasive formulation and user-friendly format make it particularly approachable for this group.

Lastly, students and creatives have shown interest in using GoldAlign to support attentional fluidity and focus endurance, especially during project-intensive periods.

TikTok’s Matcha Craze Has Caused a Worldwide Shortage

By |2025-07-31T01:29:11+03:00July 31, 2025|Dietary Supplements News, News|0 Comments

Matcha isn’t just a trendy green swirl in your latte anymore—it’s now a global craving with consequences. In fact, demand for the powdered Japanese green tea has grown so explosively that it’s outpacing supply, leading to widespread shortages and rising prices.

For years, social media, particularly TikTok, has fueled the West’s fascination with matcha, positioning it as a photogenic, antioxidant-rich alternative to coffee. At the same time, post-pandemic tourism in Japan has reached record-breaking levels, putting added pressure on local tea producers to meet both domestic and international demand.

Now, even legacy tea producers are waving the white flag. Two of Japan’s most renowned matcha makers, Ippodo and Marukyu Koyamaen, have been forced to limit sales. Marukyu’s website still carries a message warning customers that all matcha products will be restricted for the foreseeable future.

And the problem isn’t just popularity—it’s biology. Matcha is made from tencha, a specially shaded tea leaf that accounts for just 6% of all Japanese tea production. Even if every farmer in the country pivoted to growing matcha, the plant’s sensitivity to climate means quality harvests can’t simply be scaled up on demand.

This spring, the prized Kyoto region experienced a particularly hot and dry harvest season, resulting in a “high-quality but lower-yielding harvest,” according to Brooklyn-based Kettl Tea founder Zach Mangan. Great for flavor. Bad for availability.

As a result, prices are spiking. The average cost of tencha in April hit 8,235 yen per kilogram, which is roughly 1.7 times more than last year. The Japanese agriculture ministry reports that production is up 2.5x since 2014, but it’s still nowhere near enough.

In short: the matcha boom isn’t slowing down, but the shelves might be. If you’ve got a tin in your pantry, you may want to savor it.

By |2025-07-30T23:28:30+03:00July 30, 2025|Dietary Supplements News, News|0 Comments

In 2025, Sleep Lean is emerging as a standout in the wellness industry, offering a fresh take on nighttime support. SleepLean

New York City, NY, July 30, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — As the connection between quality sleep and body composition becomes more widely recognized, a new supplement is drawing attention for its unique nighttime approach: Sleep Lean. Early adopters and wellness insiders alike are calling it a promising advancement in aligning sleep patterns with body balance goals – all without disrupting rest.

In recent years, wellness has become more than just daytime habits and fitness trackers – it’s now encompassing what happens after dark. This evolving awareness has led to increased interest in nighttime formulations like Sleep Lean, which offer support during one of the body’s most crucial regenerative phases: sleep.

Historically, weight-related products were focused on daytime activity – with emphasis on energy output, dietary routines, or caloric adjustment. However, new insights into circadian biology and hormonal cycles have made it clear: what happens during sleep profoundly affects how the body functions during the day.

This is where Sleep Lean enters the discussion. It’s not a quick-action formula or a disruptive sleep aid. Instead, it’s designed to work alongside the body’s built-in rhythm – allowing rest, regulation, and renewal to occur without interruption.

Industry analysts are watching this space closely. According to wellness trend trackers, the demand for evening-based supplements has surged over the past 18 months, especially among those in midlife wellness communities. As interest in sleep as a foundational pillar of health continues to grow, products like Sleep Lean are no longer fringe – they’re becoming central to how people manage body balance over time.

Why Sleep Lean Is Drawing Attention in 2025: A New Take on Rest and Body Balance

As the global wellness industry continues to evolve, a quiet but significant shift is underway: people are starting to value sleep not just for energy restoration, but as a critical window for internal balance. At the center of this shift is Sleep Lean, a new entry into the nighttime support space that’s gaining traction among individuals seeking a gentler, more natural path to wellness.

Unlike traditional approaches that rely on daytime energy enhancers or restrictive regimens, Sleep Lean offers something different – support that works in harmony with the body’s natural overnight functions. Early interest in the product isn’t coming from hype alone; it’s being driven by word-of-mouth, wellness forums, and growing reports of improved rest patterns combined with subtle body recalibration.

Wellness professionals are calling this the “rest revolution” – a shift from doing more to doing smarter. Sleep Lean taps directly into this trend by focusing on metabolic support when the body is already designed to recover: during sleep.

With interest growing across the U.S. and abroad, Sleep Lean is emerging not as a fad, but as a reflection of changing priorities. In a market crowded with overstimulating solutions, this product is helping users reconnect with one of the most powerful – and often overlooked – tools in wellness: sleep itself.

The Science of Sleep and Metabolism: Why Nighttime May Be the Missing Piece

Modern research continues to affirm that sleep and metabolism are deeply interconnected – yet the wellness space has traditionally focused on daytime strategies. This is precisely where Sleep Lean finds its relevance in 2025: bridging the overlooked link between restorative rest and internal balance.

During sleep, the body doesn’t shut down – it shifts gears. Hormonal activity changes, repair functions intensify, and energy regulation mechanisms subtly adjust. Growth hormone, for instance, is more active during deep sleep, supporting tissue recovery and nutrient distribution. Cortisol, the hormone tied to stress and fat storage, also resets itself during the night – particularly in well-rested individuals.

Poor sleep disrupts these processes, leading to imbalances that can affect energy levels, cravings, and weight patterns. Sleep Lean is formulated to work with – not against – these rhythms. It supports deeper rest while allowing internal systems the environment they need to function optimally.

By prioritizing nighttime support, Sleep Lean aligns with a growing body of research that recognizes the rest window as a critical opportunity for wellness. This new approach resonates with users looking for more than short-term fixes – they want alignment with how the body naturally operates.

How Sleep Lean Works Without Relying on Harsh Stimulants

Sleep Lean has entered the spotlight for one reason: it focuses on supporting natural processes during rest hours. While most wellness products operate during active hours, Sleep Lean’s formulation is built around the concept of restorative metabolism – the body’s subtle overnight balancing mechanisms.

Rather than rely on intense energy boosters or crash-inducing compounds, Sleep Lean offers a gentler path. Its ingredients are designed to help users fall asleep more easily while also nudging internal systems that manage how nutrients are processed and stored.

This dual-action approach – supporting both restful sleep and metabolic function – is gaining traction among individuals who prefer non-disruptive solutions. Early consumer feedback highlights improved sleep quality alongside gradual body composition improvements.

Wellness professionals monitoring this trend note that sleep remains a critical yet overlooked factor in metabolic health. With Sleep Lean, that gap may finally be addressed.

What Are the Key Ingredients Behind Sleep Lean’s Growing Popularity?

Behind the rising interest in Sleep Lean lies a carefully formulated combination of ingredients designed to support both restorative rest and overnight metabolic activity – without overstimulation.

One of the core components includes natural adaptogens, known for helping the body stay balanced during stressful cycles. These adaptogens are included not to sedate but to promote a smoother transition into rest, creating an optimal environment for the body to carry out internal maintenance.

Alongside that, Sleep Lean incorporates amino acid compounds that are closely linked to neurotransmitter function. These compounds work quietly in the background, helping regulate the body’s natural circadian patterns and enabling deeper rest phases. During these phases, the body is better able to support internal processes such as nutrient breakdown and energy management.

Another noteworthy inclusion is a botanical complex rich in antioxidant properties. This complex is selected not only for its calming effects but also for its role in supporting the body’s nightly recovery and renewal efforts.

Together, these ingredients do not force a sedative effect. Instead, they align with the body’s inherent rhythm – a key reason why Sleep Lean is being welcomed by those looking for non-disruptive, holistic nighttime support.

What Makes Sleep Lean Different from Daytime Weight Support Products?

According to official website, While most wellness supplements focus on energy, thermogenesis, or appetite control during the day, Sleep Lean takes a contrasting path. It works while the user is at rest, aligning its support with the body’s natural recovery window – nighttime.

Daytime formulations often aim to stimulate. They’re crafted to deliver short bursts of energy or heightened alertness, which may help with motivation but can also interfere with rest if taken late. Sleep Lean avoids this entirely. There are no jitter-causing compounds, no sharp crashes, and no impact on the body’s cortisol curve.

Instead, the formulation is structured to support what the body is naturally inclined to do after sundown: reset, repair, and rebalance. Reports suggest that during sleep, the body engages in complex metabolic activities – including nutrient utilization and cellular housekeeping. Sleep Lean is designed to assist those processes, not override them.

This difference is why Sleep Lean is increasingly favored by individuals seeking long-term wellness support without compromising sleep quality. It doesn’t compete with energy levels – it complements circadian biology. In a world where overstimulation is common, a nighttime-focused strategy is refreshing – and increasingly embraced.

Who Is Using Sleep Lean in 2025? A Look at the Growing Audience

Across wellness communities in 2025, a quiet shift is taking place. Individuals are no longer viewing rest as passive downtime – but as a key component of overall body harmony. This shift is reflected in the growing user base of Sleep Lean.

The audience ranges widely. Professionals facing long workdays are turning to it as part of their evening routine to promote deeper rest and balance. Individuals navigating midlife changes – particularly where sleep patterns and metabolism begin to shift – are adopting Sleep Lean for its gentle support. Even younger wellness enthusiasts, who once overlooked nighttime supplementation, are exploring its benefits as part of a more rounded approach to daily self-care.

Social media conversations and wellness podcasts are increasingly referencing the “rest and reset” model. Rather than chasing overnight transformations, users are aligning with strategies that feel sustainable. Sleep Lean fits into this narrative – a non-intrusive, steady companion that works behind the scenes.

What unites this diverse group is a shared value: consistency without compromise. In a marketplace full of products promising instant shifts, Sleep Lean appeals to those who prefer subtle, sustainable progress grounded in how the body naturally works.

Is Sleep Lean Safe for Nighttime Use? What the Formulation Tells Us

In 2025, safety remains a top priority for consumers – especially with supplements taken before rest. Sleep Lean has garnered attention not only for its unique purpose but also for how it approaches nighttime support responsibly.

The formulation is developed without ingredients that commonly disrupt rest, such as high-dose stimulants, synthetic relaxants, or habit-forming agents. Instead, its blend focuses on naturally derived compounds known for their role in regulating circadian patterns, nervous system balance, and gentle metabolic support.

Each ingredient has been selected for its compatibility with evening use. Instead of triggering abrupt physiological shifts, the goal is to support a smoother transition into deeper rest. Reports from users highlight feelings of calm without grogginess the next morning – a rare balance in this product category.

In addition, the product’s composition avoids artificial dyes, major allergens, and unnecessary additives. This makes Sleep Lean a viable option for a wide range of wellness-conscious individuals looking to integrate a nighttime formula without compromising safety or quality.

As interest in sleep-focused metabolic support grows, Sleep Lean positions itself as a responsible entry in this space – prioritizing harmony over force.

Where to Buy Sleep Lean in 2025: Access, Authenticity & Advisory Notes

Due to its rising popularity, questions about where to safely access Sleep Lean are becoming more common. The official source for authentic supply remains the product’s official website – a secure platform that ensures formula integrity, proper storage, and full customer support.

Purchasing directly not only guarantees that users receive the original formulation, but also provides access to updated information, current usage guidelines, and any ongoing offers. Given the emergence of unauthorized listings and imitations on third-party marketplaces, wellness advisors encourage consumers to verify sourcing before purchase.

Another key reason to go through official channels is safety. With wellness products, particularly those taken during rest, quality control is non-negotiable. Temperature-sensitive ingredients and precise dosing require careful handling from manufacturer to doorstep – something not always ensured by unverified resellers.

For those considering adding Sleep Lean to their routine, the brand also offers structured packages that support consistent use over several weeks – often preferred by those looking for longer-term body balance support.

What Wellness Experts Are Saying About Sleep Lean

As interest in restorative wellness continues to grow, health advisors and holistic practitioners are taking note of formulations like Sleep Lean that emphasize rhythm, not force. While traditional daytime supplements still have a role, the wellness industry is beginning to recognize that rest itself is an active part of balance.

Experts observing the market see Sleep Lean’s success as part of a wider shift. More individuals are choosing supplements based not only on ingredients, but on when and how they work in the body. With its nighttime focus, Sleep Lean offers a fresh alternative to solutions that rely on daytime energy expenditure.

Several nutrition consultants have remarked that the ingredients used in Sleep Lean are aligned with current understanding of safe, non-sedating nighttime support. The absence of synthetic relaxants or high-intensity stimulants is frequently mentioned as a key differentiator.

Sleep Lean appears to have positioned itself not just as a supplement, but as a tool in the broader strategy of metabolic support through rest.

Final Insights: Where Sleep Lean Fits in 2025’s Wellness Landscape

With thousands of supplements entering the wellness space each year, only a few manage to break through and redefine how people think about body balance. Sleep Lean, in 2025, is emerging as one of those few – not because of bold promises, but because of its timely alignment with how consumers are rethinking wellness.

It doesn’t try to overtake the body’s systems. It doesn’t fight biology. Instead, Sleep Lean works in tandem with how the body is naturally designed to recover – quietly, gently, and during rest.

Its rise reflects a shift in mindset. More individuals are embracing long-view approaches. They are seeking out options that fit into their lives, not products that demand dramatic lifestyle changes. With Sleep Lean, this integration is simple – a capsule, a routine, a commitment to restful evenings and balanced mornings.

As awareness grows, Sleep Lean’s role in the wellness landscape becomes clearer: it isn’t about chasing faster outcomes, but supporting smarter habits. And in an increasingly overstimulated world, that calm, supportive approach may be what sets it apart.

The Best Matcha Shops in Seattle

By |2025-07-30T21:27:49+03:00July 30, 2025|Dietary Supplements News, News|0 Comments

Not for the first time, there has been a rise in demand for matcha across the world. The powder made from green tea is purportedly good for you because it’s rich in antioxidants and the bright green drinks look good on TikTok, so what’s not to love? So many people have jumped aboard the matcha bandwagon that suppliers are reporting shortages.

Here’s a short list of some of the best places to get matcha in the Seattle area (plus one in Tacoma). These spots specialize in matcha and pair it with flavors ranging from ube and pandan to marshmallow and lavender; many source matcha directly from Japan.

This spot in Belltown sources matcha from Japan for its signature lattes and handcrafted drinks. It also serves hojicha, a low-caffeine tea varietal with a nutty and chocolatey flavor profile. Adjust your drink by adding sweetener or a cream top, changing your matcha strength, or adjusting your sweetness level. You can also get pastries and light bites like caneles and Japanese egg sandwiches.

With locations in Phinney Ridge and Capitol Hill, this boba shop’s interior is just as eye-catching as its drinks. Its matcha is sourced from Shizuoka, Japan, and it’s available with ube, banana milk, black sesame, and white mocha. The most popular drink is the strawberry matcha made with housemade strawberry puree; non-matcha drinkers can enjoy iced or hot tea like brown rice gyokuro, grape oolong, and peach ginger.

Matcha Magic has a popular matcha cafe in Bellevue, recently opened a second location in Redmond, and is now expanding to Seattle with locations coming to Capitol Hill (open August 10), and South Lake Union (late September). Many of its drinks are “potions,” lattes made with boosters and adaptogens with purported health benefits like ashwagandha, blue spirulina, collagen, and reishi. Crowd favorites include the Toasted Matchamallow Latte and Matcha Horchata. All the matcha is sourced from a single family farm in Shizuoka. You can also try one of the signature smoothies or get a loaded toast or acai bowl. Five percent of sales go to Ladies Who Launch, a nonprofit committed to bridging the equity gap for women and non-binary entrepreneurs.

Yoka

Yoka started as a boba pop-up, but with the recent opening of its permanent location in Madrona, it has expanded to become a specialty cafe offering a range of matcha and coffee drinks. Some of the matcha items are inspired by the co-owners’ Filipino and Korean heritage, including the Turon Matcha, which is made with a roasted banana puree. Yoka also offers classic combinations like the Strawberry Matcha made with strawberry compote, or a “Matcha Matcha,” which is matcha served with matcha creme. You can check out the mini food and lifestyle market by Anyoung Super in the space, which includes products from many Asian-owned small businesses, or join the run club.

Jin Jin Matcha works with tea farmers in Shizuoka to source its matcha, which is hand-whisked for hot or iced drinks. Its creative lattes include flavors like black sesame, lavender, butterfly pea flower, and strawberry (you can also get something simpler like a traditional or sparkling matcha). The shop’s first location is in Tacoma, but Seattleites will soon be able to venture to Downtown Seattle to visit the forthcoming second location. You can also try your luck at getting a ceremonial matcha tin, which is available in limited quantities.

This new cafe on Capitol Hill was started by sisters who loved matcha and coffee and wanted to share their love of these drinks with the world. Although known for their matcha drinks, as of July Phe is currently out of matcha due to that pesky global shortage. Other popular drinks include the Hojicha Latte Einspainer, which is made with a sweet cream foam, as well as the Phe Me, a black sesame coffee. The latest addition to the menu is the Phe Keo, which is made with phin-brewed coffee, caramel milk, and cold foam, and topped with a honeycomb toffee. If you’re hungry, there’s also a selection of food including banh mis, egg rolls, pho, and more. Check Phe’s Instagram for updates on matcha availability.

Creatine and Teens: Is It Safe?

By |2025-07-30T19:26:42+03:00July 30, 2025|Dietary Supplements News, News|0 Comments

The latest nutrition trend that both teens and their perimenopausal moms are trying? Creatine.

Claims about the benefits of the supplement fill social media feeds and (spoiler alert!), some of these are actually backed by reliable science.

Creatine has been extensively studied and used by athletes for years to help boost muscle mass and performance. But like any supplement, creatine isn’t regulated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and you can’t be sure what you’re buying is safe. And even though there’s plenty of research on creatine, most studies have focused on adults.

So is it safe for teens? “Creatine can be safe for teens, but it’s important to weigh the potential modest benefits against the risks,” says registered dietitian Amy Stephens, a certified specialist in sports nutrition in New York City who works with the New York University athletic department. Here’s what to know.

What Is Creatine?

Creatine is a naturally-occurring compound in the body made of three amino acids — arginine, glycine, and methionine. Produced by the liver, kidneys, and pancreas, and primarily stored in the muscles, it helps produce adenosine triphosphate (ATP), your body’s cellular “energy currency.” In addition to making creatine, your body absorbs it from dietary sources of animal-based foods, in particular red meat and fish.

Most people (including teens) can maintain their creatine stores through diet, but many athletes use creatine supplementation — most commonly creatine monohydrate — to help improve performance in certain types of exercise and training.

“Creatine, one of the most studied ergogenic aids, increases phosphocreatine stores in skeletal muscles, improving ATP production during high-intensity exercises like sprinting and weightlifting,” explains Laura Goldberg, M.D., a pediatric sports medicine specialist at University Hospitals and clinical assistant professor of pediatrics at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, OH. “Studies show creatine supplementation enhances skeletal muscle mass, strength and power, and muscular endurance.”

Why Does My Teen Want To Take Creatine?

“The most common reason teens want to take creatine is to increase muscle strength and size,” says Stephens. “Research suggests that, when used correctly and combined with consistent resistance training, creatine may lead to a six to ten percent improvement in lifting strength over a five-week period.” That means an athlete who is able to bench press 100 pounds, might, in theory, be able to increase that load to 110 pounds.

Creatine supplementation may also give athletes a performance boost in “high-intensity” sports that require quick bursts of strength, such as football or sprinting, and it may play a role in faster recovery from muscle soreness after intense training. (There is little to no proven benefit to taking creatine when it comes to endurance sports like running or swimming.)

But the research supporting these benefits has primarily focused on adults, and supplements may present different risks in growing teen bodies.

“While some studies have reported benefits, it’s important to note that most have small sample sizes and limited long-term data specific to teens,” cautions Stephens, who points to a recent review of over 9,000 journal articles on creatine supplementation in teens ages 11 to 18, which found the overall quality of the existing research to be poor and lacking consistent findings.

A Growing Trend

Creatine use has typically been more common among male athletes such bodybuilders and football players. And in teens, creatine use appears to still be more common in boys than girls

The University of Michigan’s most recent Monitoring the Future report, which surveys substance use in 25,000 U.S. secondary school students each year, found that creatine use has increased in the five-year period following the pandemic.

In this year’s survey, 13 percent of twelfth graders reported using creatine in the past 12 months; 11.7 percent of tenth graders; and 4.6 percent of eighth graders. Study authors hypothesize this increase may be due to the rise in fitness and weightlifting that occurred during the social distancing policies of the pandemic.

Creatine use was more common in boys across all age groups with 22 percent of twelfth grade boys having used creatine compared to 4 percent of girls; and 19 percent of tenth grade boys versus 3.6 percent of girls.

This gender divide may be less pronounced among competitive athletes. In a global study of elite teen athletes, 72 percent of males and 28 percent of females reported using creatine to enhance sports performance.

Dr. Goldberg stresses the need for more research in both adolescents and female athletes — and notes the potential benefits for women post-menopause who are more prone to losing muscle mass as they age. “The more we study creatine, the more we learn it may have medical and health benefits beyond athletes.”

Is Creatine Safe for Teens?

Creatine can be safe for teen athletes, particularly those involved in strength or power sports, but there are plenty of reasons to skip it.

“For highly active teens who are already training hard, eating well, and getting quality sleep, creatine may offer a modest performance boost,” says Stephens. “But for most teens, it’s more valuable to first focus on the foundations: nutrition, sleep, exercise, and recovery.”

There’s reason to hold off from a mindset standpoint as well, she adds: “It’s important for a teen to know what their bodies are capable of before adding a supplement.”

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) does not recommend the use of performance-enhancing supplements for those under 18, citing the lack of research showing benefits in younger athletes and the absence of FDA regulation.

“A major concern with creatine — and all dietary supplements — is quality control,” says Stephens. “Supplements are not regulated by the FDA in the same way that prescription medications are. As a result, some products may contain undisclosed ingredients or may not match what’s listed on the label.” Contamination is a risk as well.

It’s also important to be aware of possible side effects of creatine use including temporary weight gain (often 1 to 3 pounds in teens) and to know that it’s not recommended for anyone with an existing kidney condition.

How To Take Creatine Safely

Is your teen planning to try creatine? Here’s how to help them stay safe.

Talk to your teen. “If your teen is asking about creatine, use it as an opportunity to have a broader conversation about fueling, training, and overall health,” says Stephens. Seek help from a health professional if you have concerns about an eating or exercise disorder, or your teen’s mental health

Consult your teen’s health care provider. It’s always a good idea to check in with your teen’s health care provider before they start taking any supplement. The typical recommended dose of creatine monohydrate is generally 3 to 5 grams per day, says Dr. Goldberg. Taking it with a carbohydrate and/or protein may help increase absorption.

Include dietary sources of creatine. Healthy food sources of creatine, says Stephens, include red meat such as beef or lamb, pork, poultry, and fish (in particular herring, salmon, and tuna).

Choose “third-party tested” products. Both experts recommend choosing a product that’s been tested by an independent third party — meaning that a company other than the manufacturer has evaluated it. Reliable companies to look for on the product’s label include USP, Informed Sport, and NSF Certified for Sport. Examples of third-party tested brands include Thorne, Bulk Supplements, and Klean Athlete.

Opt for “creatine monohydrate.” This is the most studied type of creatine supplement.

Skip the “loading phase.” While some adults start with an initial higher dose “loading phase” of creatine to build up the body’s creatine stores, both experts say it isn’t necessary for teens.

Take a break. Stephens suggests cycling off creatine every few months to reassess whether supplementation still seems necessary. And continue to stress the important role that proper hydration, sleep, and healthy eating have in performance.

Matcha becomes global fever, but Japan lags with limited production

By |2025-07-30T17:25:52+03:00July 30, 2025|Dietary Supplements News, News|0 Comments

The global fever for matcha, the Japanese powdered green tea, is depleting stocks and challenging Japan’s production capacity, the world’s main supplier. Driven by wellness influencers and the popularity of Japanese culture, demand has exploded, but farmers face declining cultivation areas, record heat waves, and labor shortages. In 2024, green tea exports grew 40% in volume, but the country cannot fulfill orders, leaving shelves empty. The Japanese government is intervening, while producers seek alternatives in countries like China and South Korea, which do not reach the same quality.

Matcha, derived from the Camellia sinensis plant, has gone from a ceremonial item in Japan to a global trend, present in lattes, desserts, and even cosmetics. Production, however, is slow and labor-intensive, with plants that take years to mature and an artisanal process that does not keep up with consumption rates. Climate changes, with increasingly hot summers, have worsened the situation, destroying recent harvests.

The increase in demand also reflects a cultural phenomenon, with social media amplifying matcha’s visual appeal and its supposed health benefits, such as antioxidants and calming effects. Meanwhile, the reduction in the number of farmers and the lack of successors in the field limit production expansion, creating a crisis scenario for the sector.

  • Main crisis factors: decline in cultivated area, extreme heat, and lack of workers.
  • Global impact: suppliers report limited stocks and order delays.
  • Alternatives: imports from other countries, but with inferior quality.

Matcha cultivation faces natural and human barriers

Matcha production is a meticulous process that begins with cultivating Camellia sinensis under specific conditions. The leaves are partially grown in shade, which increases chlorophyll and gives matcha its vibrant green color. After harvesting, the leaves, known as tencha, are steamed, dried, and ground in specialized mills, a process that can take hours to produce just 40 grams of powder.

Between 2008 and 2023, the tea cultivation area in Japan fell from 48,000 to 36,000 hectares, according to the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF). The number of farming families also plummeted, from 46,000 to 20,000, due to the lack of successors and low domestic demand for green tea. Many farmers diversified their crops, reducing focus on matcha.

Extreme heat, with the summer of 2024 being the hottest ever recorded, damaged tencha harvests, reducing supply. Climate changes also affect leaf quality, which requires specific temperature and humidity conditions.

  • 25% decline in cultivated area over 15 years.
  • Scorching summers destroyed part of the 2024 harvest.
  • Labor shortage during peak periods.
  • Plants take up to five years to mature.

Global demand drives prices and pressures stocks

The global matcha market is expected to reach US$ 5 billion by 2028, according to sector estimates. The popularity of powdered green tea has grown in countries like the United States, Australia, and Europe, where it is consumed in beverages, sweets, and even savory dishes. Between 2010 and 2023, matcha production in Japan tripled, but about 50% is exported, pressuring domestic stocks.

Major brands, such as Ippodo and Marukyu Koyamaen, have limited varieties and quantities to serve more customers. In July 2025, Ippodo announced temporary restrictions due to high demand, while Marukyu Koyamaen highlighted delays in international orders. Matcha prices have risen, with a 55% increase in export value between 2020 and 2024, from 16.2 billion yen (US$ 109 million) to 36.4 billion yen (US$ 245 million).

Matcha’s popularity is also fueled by its presence on social media, where influencers highlight its aesthetic appeal and health benefits, such as high antioxidant content and energizing properties. However, the earthy flavor, often described as “grassy,” divides opinions, which does not hinder market growth.

  • Japanese green tea exports grew 40% in volume from 2020 to 2024.
  • Half of matcha production is destined for export.
  • 55% increase in export value over four years.

Impact of climate changes on production

Record heat waves in Japan have wreaked havoc on tea plantations. The summer of 2024, the hottest in history, reduced tencha harvest yields between April and May, crucial periods for production. Extreme temperatures affect leaf growth, compromising both the quantity and quality of matcha.

Furthermore, climate changes make cultivation more unpredictable, with irregular rains and drought periods affecting soil moisture, essential for Camellia sinensis. Producers report difficulties in maintaining the quality standard required for high-level matcha, used in traditional ceremonies and premium products.

The situation is aggravated by dependence on traditional methods. Manual harvesting, for example, is indispensable to ensure quality, but the lack of workers during seasonal peaks hinders the process. Modern machines help with grinding, but do not replace labor in harvesting.

  • Summer of 2024 was the hottest recorded in Japan.
  • Tencha harvest period was severely affected.
  • Premium matcha quality is at risk.
  • Lack of seasonal workers limits production.

Japanese government response to the crisis

The Japanese government is acting to contain the crisis in matcha production. The MAFF announced measures to support farmers, including incentives for new producers to enter the tea sector. Agricultural machinery leasing programs were introduced to reduce costs and dependence on manual labor, which is scarce.

Another initiative is to stimulate the reconversion of agricultural lands to tea cultivation, reversing the trend of diversification to other crops. However, the impact of these measures will be gradual, as tea plants take years to reach maturity. The government is also promoting partnerships with universities to develop climate-resistant cultivation techniques.

Despite the efforts, dependence on traditional methods and the slow recovery of the agricultural sector limit short-term results. The crisis exposes Japan’s vulnerability to factors such as rural population aging and climate changes.

  • Incentives for new tea farmers.
  • Machinery leasing to reduce costs.
  • Partnerships with universities for cultivation techniques.
  • Reconversion of agricultural lands to tea.

International alternatives and quality challenges

With the shortage in Japan, global suppliers are seeking matcha in countries like China and South Korea, which also cultivate Camellia sinensis. However, these countries face difficulties in meeting Japanese quality standards, which involve specific shading and grinding techniques. Chinese matcha, for example, is often considered less vibrant and with a less refined flavor.

Importing matcha from other countries may alleviate immediate pressure, but it compromises the product’s reputation, especially for consumers who value Japanese authenticity. Premium brands, such as Ippodo, emphasize Japanese origin as a differentiator, making substitution by international alternatives a challenge.

Furthermore, increasing production in other countries also faces climatic and logistical barriers. China, for example, deals with environmental pollution and land restrictions, while South Korea has limited production, mainly aimed at the domestic market.

  • Matcha from China and South Korea does not meet Japanese standards.
  • Imports may compromise premium brand reputation.
  • Alternative production faces climatic barriers.

Future of the matcha market

The matcha boom reflects a shift in consumption habits, with consumers seeking products associated with health and aesthetics. However, Japan’s inability to meet global demand exposes fragilities in the agricultural sector. The combination of climatic, demographic, and logistical factors requires long-term solutions, such as investment in technology and rural revitalization.

While the Japanese government tries to expand production, the global market may see even higher prices and greater dependence on international alternatives. For consumers, the matcha fever continues, but with the risk of empty shelves and variable quality products.

  • Projected growth of the matcha market: US$ 5 billion by 2028.
  • Prices expected to continue rising with shortage.
  • Need for innovation in cultivation and processing.

Naked Nutrition enters the colostrum category

By |2025-07-30T15:24:54+03:00July 30, 2025|Dietary Supplements News, News|0 Comments

The launch follows the company’s recent entry into the canned beverage space with a six-ingredient sparkling energy drink.

The new innovations feed into the brand’s mission to offer simple nutritional supplements containing minimal high-quality ingredients, all while keeping consumer costs down, according to founder Stephen Zieminski.

“We are always introducing new products,” he told NutraIngredients. “Our goal is to offer a pantry-full catalogue of products and to provide our customers with nutritional support for all their daily needs. We are not investing in large-scale marketing campaigns [to avoid] passing those costs onto our consumers.”

Tapping into market trends

Prior to founding Naked Nutrition in 2014, American cross country and track athlete Zieminski discovered that many supplements contained additional ingredients with little to no nutritional value.

He created Naked Nutrition to provide consumers with products that offer transparency, informing the company’s tagline ‘Nutrition with nothing to hide.’

Now, the brand has around 50 products and more than 179,000 customers across the world, following a recent expansion into the European market.

Naked Nutrition is now diversifying its product range even further, with its Naked Colostrum leading the way.

Naked Nutrition’s Naked Colostrum contains over 400 functional nutrients, including immunoglobins, growth factors, peptides, and vitamins and minerals. (© Naked Nutrition)

As the first form of breastmilk released after mammals give birth, colostrum is a nutrient dense fluid that is high in antibodies and antioxidants. In dietary supplements, it typically comes as a powder derived from cows milk.

Research suggests colostrum may have a variety of health benefits, from supporting gut and immune health to aiding muscle recovery and joint function. While it has been used for centuries in traditional and veterinary medicine, it has only recently gained popularity as a supplement.

Identifying a gap in the market, Naked Nutrition set out to launch an affordable, single-ingredient colostrum supplement, priced at just €0.46 ($0.53) per serving.

“The colostrum product category is scaling quickly,” Zieminski said. “A lot of the existing products on the market are pricey. We took the Naked approach, offering our customers high-quality products that contain premium ingredients.”

Naked Nutrition’s colostrum contains over 400 functional nutrients and is sustainably sourced from U.S. dairy farms that prioritize calf health.

Aiding collagen absorption

The company has also launched a reformulated collagen powder marketed as Naked Advanced Collagen, made of pure hydrolyzed collagen peptides with the addition of hyaluronic acid and vitamin C to aid absorption.

It joins Naked Nutrition’s range of collagen products, including Collagen Peptides, Marine Collagen and Collagen Creamer, designed to promote joint and gut health and protect cartilage and bones.

“Collagen is already one of our top-selling categories,” Zieminski said. “We saw an opportunity to create a product to help the body absorb and use the collagen effectively. By adding hyaluronic acid and vitamin C, Naked Collagen Advanced contains ingredients that promote joint and gut health as well as healthy skin and nails.”

Similar to the colostrum, the collagen is sourced from grass-fed and pasture-raised bovine hides from European farms, feeding into the brand’s efforts to use sustainable food practices and reduce carbon emissions.

Find out if GDR Labs’s heart health supplements are legit – and how they work – today in our review.

About GDR Labs

GDR Labs is an Alpharetta, Georgia-based supplement company known for offering various products targeting different health and wellness goals.

In addition to offering individual supplements, GDR Labs offers bundles, wellness optimization programs (via mobile app), and other tools to support health and wellness.

Most GDR Labs supplements are available as a concentrated liquid. You take drops of GDR Labs’ liquid formula daily to promote various goals. Many supplements are available in two versions: Regular Strength and Clinical Strength.

All GDR Labs supplements are 100% American-made.

About GDR Labs’ Heart Health Supplements

Heart disease is the number one killer worldwide. Many people take heart health supplements for blood flow and overall cardiovascular health.

GDR Labs offers four flagship supplements for targeting heart health, including:

  • Carditrol: Natural heart health supplement
  • Sirtuin: Natural antioxidant support
  • Cholamax: Natural vitamin D fortification
  • MAG-ION: Natural magnesium support

GDR Labs heart supplements support cardiovascular health using science-backed ingredients like beetroot, vitamin D3, and magnesium. These ingredients may help manage blood pressure, enhance circulation, reduce inflammation, and boost overall heart function.

Other GDR Labs heart health supplements, such as Sirtuin, function by utilizing antioxidants. Antioxidants neutralize the free radicals and reactive oxygen species that cause inflammation. Inflammation can worsen symptoms of heart disease and increase the risk of heart attack and stroke.

The remaining two heart health supplements in GDR Labs’ catalog are vitamin D and magnesium supplements. Vitamin D and magnesium are crucial for heart health, and deficiency in either nutrient could increase the risk of heart disease.

All GDR Labs heart health supplements are priced between $43 and $63 per bottle. Each bottle contains a one-month supply of liquid formula.

We’ll explore each of the GDR Lab’s heart health supplements in greater detail below.

Carditrol

Carditrol is GDR Labs’ best-known heart health supplement. Like the other three cardiovascular health supplements listed here, it is a concentrated liquid. To promote heart health, take 1 mL (about one full dropper) daily.

Carditrol supports heart health via:

  • Supporting blood flow
  • Promoting overall cardiovascular health
  • Using beetroot extract and vitamin D3

Each 1mL (50 drops) serving of Carditrol contains three active ingredients in a 900mg proprietary blend. Those active ingredients include beetroot powder, black pepper extract, vitamin D (100% DV), and D-limonene:

Beetroot

Beetroot is one of the best-known ingredients in the world for heart health; some take beetroot daily. Beetroot contains nitrates. Your body uses nitrates to create nitrite, which converts into nitric oxide. Nitric oxide (NO) is known for widening blood vessels and supporting blood flow. Multiple studies have connected beetroot extract to better heart health, and some take it daily for blood pressure, cardiovascular health, and overall heart wellness. In a 2018 study, researchers found that beetroot juice supplements were cost-effective in reducing blood pressure by promoting nitric oxide production.

Black Pepper Extract

Black pepper extract contains a natural molecule called piperine linked to absorption. It helps your body absorb certain plants, herbs, and other nutrients. Your body may struggle to absorb plant extracts like beetroot without combining them with black pepper extract.

Vitamin D

Vitamin D is crucial for immune function, bone health, and blood flow. You could struggle maintaining good heart health if you’re not getting enough vitamin D through sunlight or dietary sources. A 2019 study, for example, found that people with vitamin D deficiency tended to have higher blood pressure and that taking a vitamin D3 supplement was linked to systolic and diastolic blood pressure drops.

D-Limonene

D-limonene is a natural oil in oranges, lemons, grapefruit, and other citrus fruits. It’s a monoterpene. Supplement companies typically add D-limonene to give formulas a pleasant scent and flavor.

Overall, GDR Labs designed Carditrol as a highly bioavailable heart health supplement linked to blood flow, cardiovascular wellness, and overall health. Based on testing on 15,000+ Americans, GDR Labs claims the supplement has a 90% success rate, with many people improving blood pressure and overall blood circulation with the liquid formula.

Sirtuin

Like most GDR Labs supplements, Sirtuin is available in Regular Strength or Clinical Strength varieties.

Sirtuin is positioned as an anti-aging, heart-supportive formula powered by resveratrol-rich Japanese knotweed. By targeting SIRT1 gene activation, Sirtuin may promote youthful energy, cellular longevity, and enhanced cardiovascular and brain function.

Most of the GDR Labs Sirtuin formula consists of antioxidants. GDR Labs claims to have added “one of the world’s most powerful antioxidant ingredients” to help achieve powerful effects.

Some of the benefits of GDR Labs’ Sirtuin include:

  • Fight aging at the cellular level
  • Powerful antioxidants
  • Promote healthy brain and heart function
  • Age-defying blend to stimulate the SIRT1 gene

Sirtuin works by stimulating the SIRT1 gene. Research has connected this specific gene to enhanced cellular function and youthfulness. By boosting the activity of this gene, Sirtuin could increase energy, cognition, strength, enthusiasm, and overall vitality.

Each 1mL serving of GDR Labs Sirtuin contains one primary active ingredient along with two complementary ingredients in a 900mg proprietary formula, including:

Japanese Knotweed 10:1 Extract

GDR Labs added Japanese knotweed to Sirtuin because it’s one of the most potent antioxidants in the world. Formally known as Polygonum cuspidatum, Japanese knotweed is known for being one of the best natural sources of resveratrol, the popular plant-based antioxidant. Resveratrol and Japanese knotweed are naturally present in grapes and other fruits. It’s a popular anti-aging compound that, when taken orally, could promote noticeable effects. One 2017 study, for example, found that taking 1,000mg of resveratrol from Japanese knotweed daily significantly increased circulating T cells and regulatory T cells, helping with inflammation and immune function.

Black Pepper Extract

GDR Labs added black pepper extract to Sirtuin for absorption. Studies suggest piperine, a natural black pepper molecule, enhances certain substances’ absorption. Without black pepper extract, your body struggles to absorb meaningful doses of some substances.

D-Limonene

Sirtuin contains the same D-limonene found in Carditrol and other heart health supplements. D-limonene is a natural oil from grapefruit and other citrus fruits. It helps the liquid Sirtuin formula taste better when held in your mouth.

GDR Labs recommends taking Sirtuin for at least 30 days to assess its benefits fully. However, some notice results within days of taking the supplement for the first time.

Sirtuin is priced at $63 to $89 per bottle (depending on whether you purchase the Regular Strength or Clinical Strength option).

Cholamax

Cholamax is an energy, immunity, and health supplement that promotes everything from heart health to immunity to strong bones.

GDR Labs designed Cholamax as a way to “achieve optimal health.” To do that, Cholamax targets different areas of human health, including:

  • Elevate well-being and energy
  • Support immune function
  • Boost mood
  • Enhance overall vitality
  • Strengthen bones
  • Fortify heart health, physical health, mental clarity, and more

If you want to perform at your best, Cholamax aims to help. Like other GDR Labs’ heart health supplements, Cholamax is a highly concentrated liquid formula. You can buy it in Regular Strength ($43 per bottle) or Clinical Strength ($69 per bottle) options, with the Clinical Strength version being twice as strong.

To achieve these effects, GDR Labs has added a single active ingredient to Cholamax: a strong dose of vitamin D (along with black pepper extract for absorption):

Vitamin D

Each 1mL (50 drops) serving of Cholamax contains 125mcg of vitamin D (625% DV) in the form of cholecalciferol. Studies show people deficient in vitamin D tend to have significantly worse heart health, brain health, immune function, and bone health than people who get their recommended daily intake of vitamin D. You can get vitamin D through sunlight exposure. Some take vitamin D3 supplements daily. It could be because of low vitamin D levels if you’ve felt mentally foggy, physically tired, or generally off lately.

Black Pepper Extract

GDR Labs added black pepper extract to Cholamax to promote absorption. Studies show that black pepper extract helps the body absorb vitamin D and other nutrients more efficiently.

Thanks to Cholamax, getting a potent daily dose of vitamin D is easy. Instead of swallowing large pills or standing in the sunlight for hours, you can swallow one full dropper of Cholamax.

MAG-ION

MAG-ION blends magnesium and essential minerals to promote heart and overall health.

MAG-ION is available in Regular Strength or Clinical Strength varieties. Like all other GDR Labs supplements, the formula is made in the United States and tested by third parties.

Some of the benefits of MAG-ION, according to GDR Labs, include:

  • Support muscle and nerve function
  • Enhance energy production
  • Support overall health
  • Promote better sleep

The benefits of MAG-ION are diverse because magnesium, the primary active ingredient, has varying influential roles throughout the body. The formula also contains 72 trace minerals to target other areas of health.

GDR Labs adds magnesium, sodium, and trace minerals to each drop of MAG-ION. Active ingredients include:

Magnesium

Magnesium is an essential mineral that influences hundreds of systems throughout the body – including your nervous system. It’s also crucial for muscle function. GDR Labs links magnesium to 600+ essential bodily functions, inkling health, sleep, heart health, and more. With MAG-ION, you get a strong dose of magnesium (420mg / 100% DV) to support all of these areas of health.

Sodium

Each serving of MAG-ION contains 7mg of sodium, less than 1% of your daily value. Typically, most adults get enough sodium through dietary sources. However, sodium deficiency could cause fluid imbalance, dehydration, muscle and nerve dysfunction, and other health issues. With MAG-ION, you get a small sodium dose to support your heart and overall health.

Natural Ionic Trace Minerals

The remaining ingredients in MAG-ION are ionic minerals found in small doses. They’re unnamed trace minerals that could promote health, wellness, immune function, and heart activity. You could have an increased risk of health problems if deficient in one or more minerals. Each drop of MAG-ION contains 72 trace minerals to promote overall health.

MAG-ION is made in the United States and lab-tested for purity and potency.
