Spring is just around the corner. As we get out of our winter blahs, our skin needs a refresh. Along with warmer weather comes changing our closets to lighter clothes and spending more time outdoors. With this, supplements can be instrumental in helping us get back in shape, but they’re part of a larger wellness idea to tap into.
“Supplements aren’t quick-fix medications; they’re more of a supportive measure,” said Vladimir Kochnev, a Los Angeles-based entrepreneur and the CEO of supplement company, Herbamama. “I believe real energy starts with a healthy lifestyle—adequate sleep, balanced nutrition, proper hydration, and stress management.”
Herbal supplements often need time before you notice their benefits, and work in combination with positive lifestyle changes, like eating healthier foods or starting a new exercise program. Kochnev always recommends consulting a healthcare professional before starting any new supplement. “Then, do your own research,” he said. “Take time to read about the herb’s history, benefits, and traditional uses.” Here are some herbs and supplements for spring.
Chlorophyll drops from Herbamama

Chlorophyll
For a healthy, fresh spring glow, Kochnev suggests trying Chlorophyll drops. “Chlorophyll is the green pigment found in plants, crucial for photosynthesis,” he said. “In supplement form, Chlorophyll is celebrated for its potential detoxifying properties. Many people find that chlorophyll can help neutralize odors, support healthy skin, and assist in maintaining a balanced internal environment.”
He adds: “Some even report feeling an increase in general vitality. As always, it’s best to view it as part of a broader wellness routine; proper diet, hydration, and rest all work together with chlorophyll for optimal results.”
Ginseng
Another great source of energy is Korean Red Ginseng, which is available in both supplements or in extract form. “Ginseng has an incredible history and global track record, making it one of the most trusted roots in the supplement world for its natural energy support,” said Kochnev. “Still, I caution it to people prone to anxiety or high blood pressure; it’s best to consult your healthcare provider.”

Spearmint leaf capsules are another great refresher. These capsules have a loyal following for those who appreciate herbal solutions for digestive support. It also helps debloat. It’s part of Kochnev’s goal for Herbamama, to help introduce people to the power of simple, plant-based products.
“The name combines ‘Herb’ and ‘Mama,’ as a nod to Mother Nature’s nurturing role and the way mothers often care for their families; as it’s our way of emphasizing that natural, herbal solutions can be a gentle, yet impactful, part of self-care,” he said.
Herbamama plans to expand, releasing roughly 50 products this year, including child-friendly natural products. “It’s an ambitious roadmap, but we’re excited to keep growing and innovating.”

Debloat and Digest
Daniella Levy is the founder and CEO of Happy V, a Miami-based brand born out of her passion for women’s health and wellness. Among the supplements that Happy V sells, their Debloat and Digest product, which includes peppermint powder and ginger extract to help relieve digestion issues and create anti-inflammatory and anti-nausea support. “It helps aid a lighter, bloat-free feeling,” said Levy. “This supplement is great for improving digestion and reducing discomfort.”
Prebiotic and Probiotic
Another supplement that Happy V offers is their Prebiotic and Probiotic, which is designed to support women’s vaginal health, while supporting gut health. “It helps them feel beautiful from within; balancing both elements, which are essential for overall wellness,” said Levy.
This probiotic helps tackle vaginal, gut, immune and skin health. Happy V also has a Daily Detox Kit which combines their Prebiotic and Probiotic with liquid chlorophyll drops, which are sold in a bundle together. This bundle taps into the modern woman’s search for simple ways to take control over our well-being.
“In 2025, it’s about finding simple, sustainable ways to support overall well-being, whether through mindfulness, diet, or supplements,” said Levy. “It’s not just about looking good but feeling good from the inside out.” As Levy explains, “Prioritizing self-care helps women reduce stress, improve energy, and create a sense of balance, which all play a role in feeling confident and refreshed.”

Glow Gummies
Meanwhile, Target just started selling Sommer Ray’s plant-based beauty and wellness brand, Imaraïs Beauty. Ray, a fitness influencer, co-founded the brand with supplement industry veteran Aaron Hefter, who co-founded Nutrabolics Inc in 2002.
Imaraïs Beauty’s Glow Gummies are what Ray is calling “the ultimate skin reset.” These skincare gummies have natural ingredients like vegan squalane, marine algae and Activated-C, all of which help skin moisture and detoxification.
“These gummies are packed with Marine Algae, which helps with the detoxing, while Vegan Squalane helps with deep hydration, and the Vitamin C helps brighten and protect your skin,” said Ray. “Plus, they’re sugar-free, vegan, and backed by science, so you’re nourishing your skin the right way, and naturally.”
