For the first 32 Mini Dapps being introduced by LINE NEXT were developed under the Kaia Wave program, jointly operated by LINE NEXT and the Kaia Foundation to support Web3 developers, and through LINE NEXT’s software development kit (SDK). These include:
• Bombie and Cattea developed by Pluto Studio, whose mini-app project attracted 43 million users in just six months and achieved No.1 in sales volume
• Captain Tsubasa -RIVALS- on LINE, a game based on the popular soccer manga Captain Tsubasa
• Superz, a healthcare and wellness gateway Dapp for non-crypto users, seamlessly blending fitness habits and tangible rewards
All told, LINE NEXT aims to introduce more than 1,000 projects by the end of 2025.

“A true popularization of Web3 services depends on their accessibility and usability,” said Youngsu Ko, CEO of LINE NEXT. “Mini Dapps based on LINE Messenger will become the first large-scale Web3 user adoption case in Asia.”

“We are excited to provide a seamless Web3 experience through Mini Dapps and Dapp Portal,” said Dr. Sam Seo, Chairman of Kaia DLT Foundation. “Kaia will continue to provide highly reliable and scalable blockchain solutions for LINE NEXT and our Web3 partners.”

To celebrate the launch of the Dapp Portal, LINE NEXT has for a limited time prepared a reward program, through which users can get rewards from Dapps and KAIA rewards by just clicking the Dapps. Details about the campaign can be found on LINE NEXT’s Dapp Portal event page. (https://lin.ee/iBxCyof/qbko)
