Dogecoin (DOGE) Price Prediction: Future Looks Promising with a 100% Rally in Sight but Not as This Cheaper $0.07 DOGE Alternative Hits $2

By |2024-11-17T17:54:18+02:00November 17, 2024|Crypto News, News|0 Comments

The cryptocurrency market is now spinning energetically and two new tokens Dogecoin and Rexas Finance are receiving boosting attention from investors. Dogecoin which is one of the most well-known meme coins has recently seen an increase in its price after the massive involvement of well-known investors while Rexas Finance which is the new platform with real-world asset-backed tokenization is also having an extraordinary presale campaign. Both tokens have growth potential, with some forecasts proposing that owning these tokens could turn the initial investors into millionaires. However, Analysts have predicted Dogecoin could grow up to 100%, while Rexas Finance could reach up to 8,407%, as it becomes popular among investors.

Dogecoin’s Recent Rally Fueled by Whale Accumulation and Political Influence

Dogecoin has once again risen in popularity and recent statistics provide evidence pointing to large investors purchasing over 2.1 billion DOGE tokens within the past week. This level of whale activity, the highest in two months, usually indicates market bullishness. DOGE is currently priced at $0.2641, 78.3% up in the last 7 days, and peaked at a price that it was at in November 2021. However, Major traders are showing renewed interest in DOGE due to their cyclicality in the price movements which has been attributed by analysts to suggest that DOGE could be in a long-term bullish run. A major component of Dogecoin’s recent gains is attributed to celebrities and influencers. Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has endorsed Dogecoin repeatedly in recent months, even using his presence on Twitter to improve its value. Furthermore, following the recent election of Donald Trump as US President, Dogecoin has brought a new variable to the development of the coin. A proposal made by Trump to create a new ministry of government efficiency (D.O.G.E.) for Musk to lead, has aroused interest among investors of Dogecoin. According to some analysts, the emergence of this department can trigger a sane hike in DOGE prices.

Rexas Finance (RXS) to Soar 8,407% Amidst Rising Demand for Tokenized Real Assets

Speculation is also high on Rexas Finance, which operates in tokenizing Real World Assets such as real estate. In the presale stages currently in stage 5, the price for RXS tokens has risen to $0.07 with 73% of tokens sold in presale round 5. Bullish stakes are taken early to make a fortune as the presale advances towards the final listing price of $0.20. The value proposition of Rexas Finance is based on its distinction as a platform focused on real estate, commodities, and Intellectual Property assets tokenization. Tokenization of real assets increases both its liquidity and accessibility it becomes more appealing to the average investor. It can be estimated that the RXS token could jump in price by up to 8,407% when it enters mainstream exchanges since asset-backed tokens are considered to be in great demand now along with innovative approaches to the development of decentralized finance.

CertiK Audit Approval Boosts Investor Confidence in RXS Token’s Security

Rexas Finance has gained credibility in terms of its security and trust as a result of a recent CertiK Audit. RXS tokens were verified by CertiK, a top blockchain security auditing firm, as high security that makes transactions of investors safe. This independently verified becomes an extra layer of trust, confirming there are no vulnerabilities in the RXS token system. Rexas Finance has taken a huge step toward establishing this security milestone, the times when Rexas Finance eases the traders to invest in tokenized assets securely. The assurance of RXS token’s safety has increased its demand further as a CertiK-certified platform. With the platform added to CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko, Rexas Finance is definitely on an upward trend toward gaining credibility and going the distance in the cryptocurrency industry.

XRP Still Down 69% After Recent Gains

By |2024-11-17T15:53:25+02:00November 17, 2024|Crypto News, News|0 Comments

Ripple-affiliated cryptocurrency XRP extended its stunning rally during the weekend, surging to a new 2024 peak of $1.26 on the Bitstamp exchange.

This is the highest level that the cryptocurrency has hit since November 2021.

In fact, the rally was so intense that Binance, the leading cryptocurrency exchange by global trading volume, temporarily stopped processing withdrawals.

The controversial token has surged by more than 110% during this November, outperforming most other major altcoins.

As reported by U.Today, the rally intensified earlier this week amid rumors about the imminent resignation of SEC Chair Gary Gensler and expectations of more accommodating cryptocurrency regulations.

XRP is still down 69%

While XRP has secured rather impressive short-term gains, it is still down roughly 69% from its record peak that was recorded almost seven years ago.

According to data provided by CoinGecko, XRP remains one of the worst-performing tokens. For comparison, Bitcoin and Ethereum (ETH) are down 3% and 36% from their respective lifetime peaks. Dogecoin (DOGE), the most valuable meme coin, is down 51%.

There are still some major altcoins that managed to underperform XRP. Cardano (ADA), for instance, is down 76% from the peak that was achieved in September 2021. Shiba Inu (SHIB) and Avalanche (AVAX) are also in the same boat, with both coins losing more than 70% of their peak value.

Ripple co-founder transferring XRP

Meanwhile, Arthur Britto, one of the Ripple co-founders, has started transferring XRP tokens amid the blistering rally. Britto recently transferred 80 million XRP, with 10 million tokens moving to the Binance exchange.

Benefits, Uses, Side Effects, and More

By |2024-11-17T14:15:05+02:00November 17, 2024|Dietary Supplements News, News|0 Comments

Slippery elm is a supplement made from the inner bark of the slippery elm tree (Ulmus rubra), native to North America. Taking it as a supplement may offer a few health benefits, such as improving symptoms related to certain digestive ailments.

Although slippery elm has been used for hundreds of years as a natural remedy for conditions like sore throat, cough, and constipation, human research on the possible health effects of slippery elm supplements is extremely limited. There’s not enough evidence to support the use of slippery elm to treat any health condition.

The bark of the slippery elm tree is composed of fibers that may be helpful for certain digestive disorders. It also contains some anti-inflammatory substances, such as flavonoids and phenolic compounds. These compounds may stimulate the production of mucus and saliva and coat the digestive lining, providing an overall soothing effect on the gut.

Taking supplements that contain slippery elm may improve symptoms of digestive disorders like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

A small study of people with IBS had participants take two capsules containing 150 milligrams of slippery elm bark powder and probiotics, fructooligosaccharides, Geum urbanum (herb bennet) powder, and inulin powder for eight weeks. The group who took the capsules had significant improvements in abdominal discomfort, bloating, frequency of formed stool, and fatigue compared to the placebo group.

This study used a supplement containing several ingredients known to benefit digestive health, including probiotics and fiber like inulin, making it difficult to know if slippery elm alone would have the same effects.

In another study, adults with digestive disorders like IBS took a supplement containing ten ingredients, including slippery elm, peppermint oil, quercetin, and guar gum, for eight weeks. Participants experienced significant improvements in digestive symptoms, including nausea, heartburn, constipation or diarrhea, and gas, compared to baseline.

Though these results are promising, this study also used a multi-ingredient supplement, making it unclear to what extent the slippery elm content affected symptoms.

Older studies have also shown that multi-ingredient supplements containing slippery elm may improve symptoms of IBS, like constipation, bloating, and abdominal pain. There’s no current evidence that slippery elm has the same effects when used independently.

More studies investigating the effects of slippery elm on digestive symptoms and disorders are needed to confirm whether or not slippery elm may have gastrointestinal benefits.

Slippery elm has been used as a natural medicine for many other health conditions, such as cough and sore throat. Native American medicine systems used slippery elm-based natural remedies for digestive disorders and urinary tract issues.

Slippery elm is often found in natural cold and flu products, such as tea and cough syrups. Some natural medicine practices use slippery elm to stimulate mucus and saliva production, which may improve symptoms related to sore throat and coughing and soothe irritated airways.

While slippery elm may be effective for improving symptoms of certain health conditions and illnesses, no clinical evidence supports these uses.

Many products contain slippery elm, including standalone slippery elm supplements and combination products with additional ingredients. Teas meant to soothe sore throats and stomach upset often include slippery elm and other ingredients like marshmallow root, licorice root, and various fibers.

Slippery elm is available in many forms, including tinctures, teas, lozenges, and capsules.

Because there’s no standard or recommended way to use slippery elm, it’s best to follow product-specific instructions on how to take slippery elm-based supplements and beverages.

Dosage

There isn’t enough evidence to recommend an appropriate and effective dose of slippery elm. The available studies investigating the human health effects of slippery elm have used products that contain several ingredients, not just slippery elm.

Aim to follow dosing recommendations specific to slippery elm supplements or other products.

Research findings suggest that slippery elm is safe to ingest. However, the available research studies were for multi-ingredient products, not slippery elm alone.

Though slippery elm is considered relatively safe, health organizations recommend avoiding it during pregnancy and breastfeeding, as anecdotal evidence and folklore suggest that it may cause harm to fetuses and infants. Some sources also suggest slippery elm may induce miscarriage.

Although there’s no scientific evidence to confirm these claims, it’s best to avoid slippery elm if pregnant or breastfeeding.

Potential Drug Interactions

Due to the limited research on the human health effects of slippery elm, it’s unknown if it interacts with medications.

Slippery elm is high in fibers called mucilage, which may decrease medication absorption. To reduce the risk of this interaction, take slippery elm at least one hour after medications.

What To Look For

Also known as red elm, gray elm, or soft elm, the slippery elm tree is native to North America. The tree is commonly found growing in moist, rich soil and may grow over 100 feet tall and live as long as 200 years.

The inner bark of the slippery elm tree takes on a slippery texture when chewed or mixed with water, which is how the tree got its name.

Can You Take Too Much?

There’s not enough reliable evidence to confirm safe and unsafe doses of slippery elm. It’s unknown if slippery elm can cause health issues if taken in large doses.

Follow dosing instructions on slippery elm products, such as teas and supplements, to reduce the risk of potential side effects and safety issues.

When taken orally, slippery elm has no known side effects and is generally recognized as safe for most people. However, slippery elm may not be appropriate for everyone.

If you have any underlying medical conditions or are taking any medications, it’s best to check with a healthcare provider before adding slippery elm supplements into your wellness routine.

When applied topically, slippery elm may cause allergic reactions and skin irritation in people with sensitive skin.

Slippery elm is a product derived from the inner bark of the slippery elm tree. Though it has a long history of use in traditional medicine systems for ailments like digestive symptoms and sore throat, there’s not enough clinical evidence that slippery elm is appropriate or effective for treating any medical conditions.

If you’re interested in using slippery elm-based products, such as teas, capsules, or tinctures, it’s best to check with a qualified medical provider first. This is especially important if you have a health condition or are taking medications.

Basejump Unveils AI-Integrated Web3 Gaming Platform

By |2024-11-17T13:46:13+02:00November 17, 2024|News, NFT News|0 Comments

Basejump has introduced a new Web3 gaming platform designed to leverage artificial intelligence and blockchain technology to reshape the gaming industry. The platform, scheduled for release in early 2025, aspires to democratize game development by enabling users to create, explore, and share digital gaming assets. This approach seeks to broaden access to game creation, making it more intuitive and user-friendly.

At the heart of Basejump’s initiative lies its innovative tool, Action, which utilizes AI to simplify the game development process for users without programming expertise. This tool is powered by AO, a distributed supercomputer that taps into unused GPU resources. Additionally, the platform relies on Arweave’s decentralized storage solutions, ensuring that digital content remains accessible indefinitely.

The company’s leadership envisions its platform as a dynamic ecosystem where users can convert gaming assets such as avatars, items, and skins into fully immersive game environments. These developments aim to be supported by a scalable and trustless blockchain infrastructure, aligning with emerging trends in decentralized computing.

Enabling Creative and Interoperable Gaming Experiences

Basejump’s leadership team has highlighted the potential of its platform to drive innovation both culturally and commercially. The company’s Chief Creative Officer has underscored the benefits of using Action’s AI-driven functionalities alongside AO’s computational capabilities. Together, these components are expected to facilitate the creation of unique, interoperable gaming experiences. This focus on interoperability aims to allow players to seamlessly utilize assets across different games, fostering a more connected and versatile gaming ecosystem.

The platform’s reliance on blockchain technology further ensures transparency and security, two aspects critical in gaining user trust within the decentralized gaming sphere. The incorporation of these advanced technologies positions Basejump as a pioneer in an industry increasingly driven by AI and blockchain innovation.

Aligning with Broader Industry Trends

Basejump’s announcement comes at a time when the gaming sector is witnessing a significant shift toward the integration of AI. Prominent industry players are already embedding AI and machine learning technologies into their platforms to enhance development processes and optimize gaming experiences.

Sony, for example, has been actively exploring AI-driven tools to streamline game development. Similarly, Immutable has rolled out features aimed at advancing blockchain-based gaming. In another notable development, Microsoft recently collaborated with Inworld AI to introduce tools designed for creating dynamic in-game dialogues, thus enhancing narrative depth and player engagement.

In the startup space, Series Entertainment has developed AI-native game engines and secured substantial funding to expand its capabilities. These advancements reflect a growing recognition of AI’s transformative potential in game development, as developers increasingly rely on such tools to enhance efficiency and creativity.

A recent Unity gaming report further highlighted the widespread adoption of AI in the industry. According to the report, 62% of developers now incorporate AI tools into their workflows, with 71% reporting improved operational efficiency. These findings underscore the pivotal role that AI continues to play in reshaping game development processes and content creation.

A Look Ahead

As Basejump gears up for its official launch in 2025, it joins a competitive landscape of companies harnessing the power of AI and blockchain to redefine gaming. The platform’s unique combination of AI-driven game creation tools and decentralized computing infrastructure positions it to make a significant impact.

With the gaming industry poised for further innovation, Basejump’s efforts to lower the barriers to game development and foster a more collaborative gaming ecosystem could set a new standard for how games are created and experienced in the Web3 era.

Cardano (ADA) Price Prediction, Solana (SOL) & Lunex Network (LNEX) See Massive Inflow of Investors

By |2024-11-17T11:51:10+02:00November 17, 2024|Crypto News, News|0 Comments

Lunex Network (LNEX) is making a lot of noise in the crypto space. It has already given early buyers a +100% return – a percentage that rises every three days. Plus, this DeFi project could disrupt the entire market by connecting all isolated blockchains and launching a non-custodial trading platform.

On it, people will easily trade many crypto coins across different blockchains. Furthermore, Lunex Network will not require any sign-up KYC checks, meaning traders will remain anonymous. With millions of traders becoming more privacy-conscious thanks to data leaks, Lunex Network could become a fan favorite for millions.

The LNEX native token will fuel this platform. By holding it, people will get discounts on trading fees, passive income via staking, and more. Currently, one LNEX costs just $0.0026; however, its price will rise as the presale advances. Its expected launch price is $0.0216, which means a potential 900% return for all those who buy it now.

How high will Bitcoin go? Here’s what prediction markets say

By |2024-11-17T05:47:25+02:00November 17, 2024|Crypto News, News|0 Comments

Prediction markets had a breakout moment during the presidential election, when they proved to be more accurate than most opinion polls.

So with various cryptocurrencies soaring since Donald Trump won the election, maybe prediction markets can accurately answer the question, “How high will Bitcoin go?”

On the crypto-based Polymarket, where the so-called French whale netted a massive post-election windfall, bettors have various options for Bitcoin, which is currently trading at about $91,000.

For a contract on what price Bitcoin will hit in November, the odds are 72% that it will reach $95,000. The price with the next highest odds is $105,000 at 23%, then $110,000 at 14%.

A separate contract that asks if Bitcoin will be above $90,000 on Nov. 22 shows 60% odds, while yet another contract asking if Bitcoin will reach $100,000 in November only has a 42% chance.

On the prediction market Kalshi, a contract that asks how high Bitcoin will get before 2026 shows 52% odds for $125,000 or above and 44% odds for $150,000 and above.

If prediction markets aren’t your thing, and you prefer a forecast from a more conventional Wall Street analyst, there’s Fundstrat Global Advisors cofounder Tom Lee.

Among the forecasters surveyed by Bloomberg, his stock market call in 2023 turned out to be the most accurate.

As for Bitcoin, he said in March that it could hit $150,000 by year-end. While that looks less likely now with just a month and a half left in the year, Lee told CNBC last week that “six figures” is still possible before the end of the year with more gains in 2025 in 2026.

“I think now because post-halving, Bitcoin is becoming a lot more relevant, and I think maybe the regulatory overhang is diminishing, there’s a lot of upside from here,” he explained.

Bitcoin has already soared 32% so far in November alone and has more than doubled this year. To get to $100,000, it would have to climb another 10%.

But there are signs that the post-election rally is stalling as the stock market notched a losing week. Still, key components of the “Trump trade” are riding high, like Tesla stock, Treasury yields, and the dollar.

Meanwhile, Quinn Thompson, the founder of the crypto hedge fund Lekker Capital, told Fortune this past week that he’s optimistic Bitcoin will attain the $100,000 milestone soon.

“I feel good that we hit it by year-end,” he said. “Very possible by end of month, but we’ll see.”

Top Stories This Week: Gold’s Post-Election Price Drop Explained, Friedland’s ASX Iron Ore IPO

By |2024-11-17T05:29:07+02:00November 17, 2024|Forex News, News|0 Comments

The gold price continued its post-US election correction this week, sinking to nearly US$2,540 per ounce.

Although it recovered to end the period at around US$2,560, the yellow metal hasn’t been at these levels for about two months. Market watchers see US dollar strength and higher bond yields weighing on its performance.

The US Dollar Index has moved higher since Donald Trump’s victory in the American election, supported by expectations that the president-elect will follow through on enacting tariffs and tightening immigration — these are policies that could boost inflation and in doing so potentially slow the US Federal Reserve’s interest rate cuts.

While gold tends to fare better when rates are low, the opposite is true for the dollar.

Yields for the 10 Year Treasury have moved higher since voting day too, although they’ve seen some bumpiness.

It’s also worth noting that the latest US consumer price index (CPI) data came out on Wednesday (November 13). CPI rose 0.2 percent month-on-month and was up 2.6 percent year-on-year. Meanwhile, core CPI, which excludes the more volatile food and energy categories, was up 0.3 percent from September and 3.3 percent from a year ago.

The numbers were in line with forecasts across the board, bolstering expectations that the Fed will reduce rates by another 25 basis points at its December meeting. However, those expectations took a hit on Thursday (November 14), when Fed Chair Jerome Powell said that the economy isn’t sending signals that rates need to come down quickly.

“The economy is not sending any signals that we need to be in a hurry to lower rates. The strength we are currently seeing in the economy gives us the ability to approach our decisions carefully,” he commented.

What’s next for the gold price in this environment? The Investing News Network will be attending the New Orleans Investment Conference next week, and we’ll be asking experts like Rick Rule, David Morgan, Lobo Tiggre and more for their thoughts. Please send an email to cmcleod@investingnews.com to let us know what questions you’d like answered.

Bullet briefing — Citigroup cuts copper forecast, Friedland plans iron ore IPO

Citigroup cuts copper forecast

Citigroup (NYSE:C) is cutting its short-term copper price forecast by 11 percent in the wake of the US election.

“Former President Donald Trump’s election for a second term marks a clear turning point in global trade tariff policy. And China’s lack of easing to date has surprised us,” the firm said this week in a note.

Citigroup is expecting prices to drop to US$8,500 per metric ton over the next three months, down from its previous call of US$9,500. Citigroup also sees China’s weaker-than-expected stimulus measures weighing on the metal.

Although the Asian nation recently announced a debt relief package worth US$1.4 trillion, members of the copper industry don’t see it having much impact on demand.

“The latest stimulus is to refinance local government debts, so that’s not going to boost physical (copper) demand much” — Ni Hongyan, Eagle Metal International

Friedland plans ASX iron ore listing

Robert Friedland reportedly plans to list iron ore company Ivanhoe Atlantic on the ASX before June 2025.

Formerly known as High Powered Exploration, Ivanhoe Atlantic’s main asset is the Nimba iron ore project in Guinea. However, funds raised by the company will also be used to make acquisitions in the critical minerals sector.

Friedland is currently best known for Ivanhoe Mines (TSX:IVN,OTCQX:IVPAF), whose operations include the Kamoa-Kakula copper complex in the Democratic Republic of Congo, but he is also involved in various other companies and projects.

Regulation of health supplements: A critical gap

By |2024-11-17T04:10:12+02:00November 17, 2024|Dietary Supplements News, News|0 Comments

Over-the-counter (OTC) supplements have become ubiquitous, as people pursue health and wellness. From fitness enthusiasts stocking up on protein powders and multivitamins to individuals relying on herbal remedies for ailments, the supplement industry is booming.

Currently, supplements can be marketed without stringent scrutiny, often leading to exaggerated claims and, in some cases, harmful side effects.

In an attempt to address this issue, an inter-ministerial committee, headed by former health secretary Apurva Chandra has reportedly suggested that supplements that claim to cure or mitigate any specific disease should be considered as a drug and, hence be brought under the purview of the Central Drug Standards Control Organisation (CDSCO).

Healthcare providers have commended this recommendation and said that the government must seriously look into formulating a comprehensive policy to regulate supplement approvals and also monitor nutraceutical markets.

Why regulation of supplements is essential?

Dr Kiran Madala, State Media convener for Indian Medical Association from Telangana, spoke to South First about the importance of regulating supplements.

He explained that “dietary supplement” is a broad term encompassing everything from individual nutrients such as vitamins A, B, C, D, E, and K, and minerals like calcium, to multivitamins and specialised “senior” formulas containing various combinations of vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients, and other compounds.

According to Harvard Health University, dietary supplements are partially regulated by the FDA in the USA. “Literature shows that, in India, 50 percent of the population consumes dietary supplements in some form. However, excessive intake can cause harm, and their role in curing diseases has not been scientifically confirmed yet,” Dr Madhala explains.

Dr Sudhir Kumar, Consultant neurologist from Apollo Hospitals in Hyderabad agrees that health supplements should be brought under Drug Controller General of India (DCGI). As of now, it is considered as nutraceuticals so they don’t come under DCGI and it can be sold over the counter without any charges.

Is it safe to consume supplements without consultation?

Dr Sudhir says that while supplements are often considered harmless, the reality is far more nuanced. Many products on the market lack scientific backing for their claims.

Without regulatory oversight, manufacturers are free to market supplements as “magic cures” for everything from hair loss to weight loss. This creates a dangerous environment where consumers are misled and sometimes put at risk.

“Because there is no scrutiny by DCGI, patients can fall for such false claims and even for serious illnesses, they may end up taking just the supplements. They may not consult a doctor to take proper medicines. This could result in disease getting worse and not better,” Dr Sudhir added.

Dr Rajeev jayadevan, Convener, Scientific Committee and former president of IMA Cochin, agrees that consumption of health supplement is often taken lightly by the general public.

“Unlike prescription medicines that are given after clinical evaluation along with doctors’ advice on how much and how long to consume, when to stop and what to expect, health supplements are over-the-counter, and lay people have the impression that they are all safe,” he told South First.

However, there is little standardisation in the quality and safety of supplements. Contaminants such as heavy metals, pesticides, or unapproved pharmaceutical ingredients are not uncommon in unregulated products. Such issues are particularly concerning in a country like India, where healthcare literacy varies widely, say doctors.

Problems with unregulated supplements

Doctors argue that unregulated supplements may contain harmful or banned substances. For instance, bodybuilding supplements have been found to contain steroids, which can lead to long-term health complications, including liver damage and hormonal imbalances.

Dr Jayadevan says that there are well established cases of supplements containing harmful ingredients which range from heavy metals to pesticides and steroids.

He says, “Unregulated and indiscriminate use of supplements has been shown to lead to severe health problems including liver failure. Even Vitamin D, when taken in excess, can cause serious and life threatening health problems.”

The public gets misled by unproven and baseless claims such as “immunity booster” and “liver detox”. As a result, public tend to take such products in excess at times while ignoring real health advice from doctors, for instance like when they are being asked to stop drinking.

Health is a serious topic and one shouldn’t do things like following the advice of random people doing social media reels.

Citing a study, Dr Madhala says, “Journal of the American College of Cardiology (JACC) published a series of reviews about nutritional supplements and heart. The take-home message on multivitamins — gleaned from 22 trials comparing multivitamins to placebo — remains the same: These supplements do not lower the risk of heart attack, stroke, or death over all. One of the top reasons people take supplements is the promise of better heart health.”

Additionally, Dr Sudhir points out that without proper scrutiny, there is no price limit for the nutraceuticals and health supplements.

Regular drugs prescribed by doctors come under the preview of National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA), which regulates the cost of most essential and life saving drugs.

But, when it comes to “dietary supplements,” many companies selling them charge whatever they want, adding further burden to a patient’s pockets. They often make exaggerated claims about their products, misleading consumers into spending large sums of money on ineffective or unsafe remedies.

However, establishing clear distinctions between food, supplements and drugs will be essential to avoid regulatory overlaps with FSSAI. Also, supplement manufacturers may face increased costs and time to market the products if this policy is brought in.

This policy to regulate is expected to face strong resistance from supplement manufacturing industry as it can mean potential loss of profit margins, less sales and stricter compliance requirements.

Doctors however insist that while challenges exist, bringing in a policy around this is a vital step for consumer’s safety and industry credibility.
