XRP Price Prediction for US Election Polling Day Nov 5

By |2024-11-05T08:53:50+02:00November 5, 2024|Crypto News, News|0 Comments

XRP price lies near a crucial level as the U.S elections polling day on November 5th approaches Investors and analysts are keenly observing the potential impact of this significant political event on the crypto market, particularly XRP (XRP).

XRP Price Ahead of U.S Election Day

The price of XRP has increased by 0.1% in the last 24 hours and is trading at $0.5072. Technical analysis shows the asset is in a consolidation within a descending triangle. Albeit bearish these types of setups can result in a bullish breakout 32% of the time, which is usually explosive.

The crypto market is down 2.5% in the last 24 hours as well as Bitcoin continues to struggle below the $68,500.

The current XRP price reflects the uncertainty in the market as the race between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris tightens. Data from the Polymarket predictions market shows Trump is likely to win with a 59.3% lead. However, this is a drop down from 67% last week. This has crypto investors and Trump-supporters worried.

Buy XRP? Jim Cramer Says Kamala Will Win

Popular American TV personality and former hedge fund manager Jim Cramer said that Monday’s market action suggests traders expect a Kamala Harris win.

“I’m not sure the market’s right about what a Harris presidency would mean for business, but at least now we have a blueprint for what Wall Street thinks it’ll mean,” he said.

Cramer has been nicknamed the ‘living counter indicator’ because all of his predictions have come to pass, only in the inverse, and with stunning accuracy.

The crypto market and XRP investors are now getting ready to top up their bags as they anticipate Cramer’s inverse predictions will once more hit the nail on the head.

XRP to Rally As Global Liquidity Increases

Historically, XRP has demonstrated remarkable price surges during periods of increased global liquidity. For instance, during the 2017-2018 market cycle, XRP experienced a staggering 60,000% increase, reaching its all-time high of $3.31 in January 2018. Similarly, in the 2020-2021 cycle, XRP rallied to $1.96 in April 2021, despite facing significant legal challenges.

Global Liquidity: CryptoGlobal Liquidity: Crypto

With a potential shift back to a risk-on environment that is the cryptocurrency industry, XRP could be ready for another massive breakout. This shift has been observed from the surging Bitcoin ETF inflows witnessed last week. These inflows were majorly responsible for driving the BTC price to $73,500.

Data from Soso Value shows the total net assets for the U.S spot Bitcoin ETFs is currently $67.44 billion, meaning American investors have bought over 986,000 BTC through ETFs. This interest in exposure to crypto assets will drive an increase inn liquidity that will propel XRP price to new heights.

XRP Price Analysis: Breakout Imminent?

XRP price action shows consolidation within a descending triangle. There is an accumulation zone around the $0.40 – $0.55 range, which has served as strong support over an extended period, suggesting accumulation by buyers at lower levels. The descending triangle indicates bearish pressure, although there’s a strong support around $0.40.

The descending trendline around $0.55 – $0.60 acts as the primary resistance. A breakout above this would be bullish.

If the strong support around $0.40 is broken, further downside could be seen towards $0.30.

The U.S. will be revealing its next president in the coming days, and crypto markets are in a holding pattern. The price of XRP is ready to explode, banking on the increased global liquidity entering the crypto market. Cramer has said Kamala is likely to win, causing investors to prepare for entry as his predictions usually fulfill in the inverse.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

The outcome of the U.S. election may affect market sentiment and liquidity, leading to potential volatility in XRP’s price.

Jim Cramer suggested traders anticipate a Kamala Harris win. Historically, some traders consider his predictions a counter-indicator and prepare accordingly.

A breakout above $0.60 could signal bullish momentum, while a drop below $0.40 could lead to further downside, potentially to $0.30.

BAPP Publishes Bulletin on Cordyceps

By |2024-11-05T07:17:42+02:00November 5, 2024|Dietary Supplements News, News|0 Comments

AUSTIN, TX—Cordyceps is widely regarded as one of the most valuable ingredients in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). The fungus is harvested from the wild and consists of a club-shaped, spore-releasing fruiting body that emerges from a ghost moth (Hepialus spp.) larva. Recently, the ABC-AHP-NCNPR Botanical Adulterants Prevention Program (BAPP) announced the publication of its first document focused solely on a fungal ingredient, the Botanical Adulteration Prevention Bulletin (BAPB) on cordyceps (Ophiocordyceps sinensis), documenting the many ways in which the fruiting body and mycelium of the fungus are mislabeled and/or adulterated.

About the Cordyceps Market

Cordyceps refers to several different fungal species, but Ophiocordyceps sinensis is the primary species that grows in the wild. Predominantly sold in the natural channel of retail trade, cordyceps dietary supplements support kidney, immune, and cardiovascular health, improve athletic performance, and increase endurance. Last year, cordyceps was the 26th top-selling herbal supplement ingredient with $5,225,915 in sales.

ABC reports that, due to the high costs associated with wild cordyceps, its dietary and food supplement market is dominated by lower-cost alternatives, commercially raised Cordyceps militaris or Paecilomyces hepiali (reclassified as Samsoniella hepiali in 2020). In Asia, wild cordyceps are sold at high prices with undeclared additions of pieces of sticks or wires and are soaked in concentrated mineral solutions to increase the weight. In Europe and the U.S., financially motivated adulterants in cordyceps dietary supplements include different fungal species (e.g., Tolypocladium inflatum), grain-based media containing small amounts or no cordyceps mycelium, undeclared excipients or fillers.

The Report

Authored by renowned herbalist, botanist, mycologist, and author, Christopher Hobbs, Ph.D., President and Executive Director of the nonprofit American Herbal Pharmacopoeia (AHP) Roy Upton, and Chief Science Officer of the nonprofit American Botanical Council (ABC) Stefan Gafner, Ph.D., the bulletin includes a review of the available literature on cordyceps adulteration, nomenclature and taxonomy, supply chain/network and market importance, and analytical approaches to detect adulterants and was peer-reviewed by 21 experts from academia, contract analytical laboratories, and the botanical ingredient industries in the United States and internationally.

“This has been a challenging bulletin to write…especially figuring out what is currently offered as ‘cordyceps’ in various regions around the globe. For me, the main takeaway for the dietary supplement industry is that better methods to authenticate the various products marketed as cordyceps are needed,” shared Dr. Gafner.

The bulletin on cordyceps marks the 29th publication in the series of BAPBs and the 91st peer-reviewed document published by BAPP. “I hope that our publication will help consumers, manufacturers, practitioners, and researchers understand the origins and biology of these fascinating traditional medicines, along with considerations of the design and conduction of further studies to help define the potential efficacy and range of health benefits of these traditional products as well as how to produce them in the most efficacious way,” shared Hobbs.

A full copy of the report is available from BAPP and ABC.

XAU/USD traders appear non-committal on the US election day

By |2024-11-05T06:39:23+02:00November 5, 2024|Forex News, News|0 Comments

  • Gold price mires in multi-day troughs near $2730 as Americans head to polls.
  • The US Dollar licks its wounds after the Trump trades unwinding on Monday.
  • Gold traders stay unnerved below the 23.6% Fibo level, despite bullish technicals.

Gold price is miring in five-day lows near $2,730 in Asian trading on Tuesday, lacking a clear direction. Traders remain wary and refrain from placing fresh bets on Gold price on the US presidential election day.

All eyes on US presidential election, exit polls

Gold price has entered a phase of downside consolidation, following its slump from all-time highs of $2,790 reached last Thursday, in the face of resurgent US Dollar (USD) demand. The Greenback jumped back into the bid, capitalizing on the Trump trade optimism.

Until last week, markets were pricing in a Republican nominee Donald Trump victory in the presidential race. They believed Trump’s policies on immigration, tax cuts and tariffs would put upward pressure on inflation, bond yields and the USD while a policy continuity is seen on a Harrish win.

However, the tide turned against the USD on Monday as traders resorted to the unwinding of the Trump trade, as the latest polls released over the weekend showed that US Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris surpassed Donald Trump in a new poll in Iowa, marking a notable turnaround.

Harris and Trump are seen locked in a tight race for the White House.

Early Tuesday, the latest developments around the US election show that former president Donald Trump is leading Vice President Harris in each of the seven swing states though the margin is narrow. The AtlasIntel survey said Trump is holding the widest margin in Arizona, with a 52.3% to Harris’ 45.8%.

This update seems to have helped the Greenback pause its downside, keeping the USD-denominated Gold price on the edge. Further, expectations of a less aggressive easing cycle by the US Federal Reserve (Fed) also lend support to the USD.

Besides, the uncertainty surrounding the US election outcome, markets also take account of the ongoing Middle East conflict between Israel and Iran.

The Israeli military said that it had killed a commander of Hezbollah’s Nasser Brigade rocket unit in southern Lebanon. In response, Hezbollah announced it launched a “large rocket salvo” targeting the northern Israeli city of Safed, marking an escalation in cross-border tensions.

If the geopolitical tensions escalate further, investors are likely to scurry to the traditional safe-haven Gold price, cushioning its downside.

However, the sentiment around the US election is expected to play a pivotal role in the Gold price action in the upcoming days.

Gold price technical analysis: Daily chart

As observed on the daily chart, Gold price challenges the key $2,730 demand area as sellers retain control.

The 14-day Relative Strength Index (RSI) is edging slightly lower to near 59, justifying the latest downtick in Gold price.

However, the leading indicator continues to hold above the 50 level, keeping the buying interest somewhat alive.

Gold buyers need to reclaim the $2,746 resistance on a daily closing basis to resume its uptrend. That level is the 23.6% Fibonacci Retracement (Fibo) level of the latest record rally from the October 10 low of $2,604 to the new all-time high of $2,790.

The next bullish target is seen at the record high of $2,790.

Conversely, a sustained move below $2,730 will expose the 38.2% Fibo support at $2,718.

Acceptance below that level on a daily candlestick closing basis could challenge the $2,700 confluence zone, where the 50% Fibo level of the same ascent and the 21-day Simple Moving Average (SMA) close in.

Additional declines will call for a test of the 61.8% Fibo support at $2,673.

Gold FAQs

Gold has played a key role in human’s history as it has been widely used as a store of value and medium of exchange. Currently, apart from its shine and usage for jewelry, the precious metal is widely seen as a safe-haven asset, meaning that it is considered a good investment during turbulent times. Gold is also widely seen as a hedge against inflation and against depreciating currencies as it doesn’t rely on any specific issuer or government.

Central banks are the biggest Gold holders. In their aim to support their currencies in turbulent times, central banks tend to diversify their reserves and buy Gold to improve the perceived strength of the economy and the currency. High Gold reserves can be a source of trust for a country’s solvency. Central banks added 1,136 tonnes of Gold worth around $70 billion to their reserves in 2022, according to data from the World Gold Council. This is the highest yearly purchase since records began. Central banks from emerging economies such as China, India and Turkey are quickly increasing their Gold reserves.

Gold has an inverse correlation with the US Dollar and US Treasuries, which are both major reserve and safe-haven assets. When the Dollar depreciates, Gold tends to rise, enabling investors and central banks to diversify their assets in turbulent times. Gold is also inversely correlated with risk assets. A rally in the stock market tends to weaken Gold price, while sell-offs in riskier markets tend to favor the precious metal.

The price can move due to a wide range of factors. Geopolitical instability or fears of a deep recession can quickly make Gold price escalate due to its safe-haven status. As a yield-less asset, Gold tends to rise with lower interest rates, while higher cost of money usually weighs down on the yellow metal. Still, most moves depend on how the US Dollar (USD) behaves as the asset is priced in dollars (XAU/USD). A strong Dollar tends to keep the price of Gold controlled, whereas a weaker Dollar is likely to push Gold prices up.

Nearly 20 brain health products banned in Korea for containing Bacopa, citicoline

By |2024-11-05T05:15:20+02:00November 5, 2024|Dietary Supplements News, News|0 Comments

Vinpocetine, bacopa, citicoline, and lycopodium are some examples of pharmaceutical drugs detected.

These ingredients, being regulated as pharmaceutical drugs in South Korea, cannot be used in food supplements, said South Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS).

Elsewhere, however, these ingredients could be used as both pharmaceutical drugs or for use in supplements.

Vinpocetine is one such example.

While it is used for treating stroke and dementia, it is also available in certain markets as a dietary supplement to enhance cognition and memory.

The MFDS, on the other hand, has raised concerns on how vinpocetine was known for causing side effects such as headaches, insomnia, miscarriage, or foetal development disorders when overdosed without a professional prescription.

“These ingredients are either prescription drug ingredients that require a doctor’s prescription or ingredients that cannot be used as food ingredients,” said the MFDS.

These cases came to light when the MFDS was conducting an inspection of health supplements sold online.

The inspection covered 3,629 products, with information on the product name, manufacturer, presence of hazardous ingredients, and product photos placed under scrutiny.

The aim was to detect the presence of ingredients that fall in the List of Hazardous Foods for Overseas Direct Purchase.

As a result, 19 supplements were found to contain ingredients found in the list.

The MFDS has since requested the Korea Customs Services to withhold customs clearance for these supplements.

Kevin Pho: Hi, and welcome to the show. Subscribe at KevinMD.com/podcast. Today, we welcome back Alisa Sano. She’s a public health auditor. Today’s KevinMD article is “GMP versus Non-GMP: The Hidden Truth About Your Supplements.” Alisa, welcome back.

Alisa Sano: Thanks for having me.

Kevin Pho: So you are a public health auditor. What exactly is that?

Alisa Sano: So, public health auditor … I work in the dietary supplements industry. What I do as a public health auditor is make sure that the facilities are following good manufacturing practice, or GMP.

Kevin Pho: And what is GMP?

Alisa Sano: It’s a bit of an esoteric concept, but basically, it’s a concept in the Code of Federal Regulations, OK? What we call CFR. The CFR is the codification of final rules in the Federal Register, which is often described as a kind of legal newspaper for the executive branch of the federal government. It consists of 50 titles covering specific areas of federal regulations. The rules administered by the FDA are written in Title 21, and GMPs are in Part 111.

So, I should start by explaining that GMP ensures the supplement manufacturer follows the recipe and verifies the label claim information. In other words, it ensures that the product truly contains, say, a thousand milligrams of omega-3. GMP does not address efficacy and potency in a pharmacological sense.

When GMP auditors go into a facility, they look at the extent to which the facility’s quality control is adequate—if they follow the recipe, and if the label claim is accurate as the packaging says.

Kevin Pho: So in terms of GMP, or good manufacturing practices, do most of the supplements that we find in a typical drugstore fall under that umbrella?

Alisa Sano: That’s a good question, and it’s very tricky. It really depends on each facility. I should also mention that a typical brand owner—when you see a company’s name on the packaging—it doesn’t necessarily mean the brand owners are manufacturing those supplements at their facility. Often, they outsource manufacturing to contract manufacturers. We don’t always know if brand owners are manufacturing. So, the scope of responsibilities could be different.

The GMP auditor’s job includes ensuring that each party’s responsibilities are defined. When adverse events happen, they need to do a recall, and responsibilities must be defined—whether it’s the brand owner’s responsibility or the contract manufacturer’s responsibility.

Kevin Pho: So how can consumers differentiate between supplements that are produced in GMP-compliant facilities and those that aren’t? Are there specific labels to look for on the supplements? How can you tell the difference?

Alisa Sano: Usually, on the back of the packaging, you’ll see a statement that says, “This supplement was manufactured in a GMP-compliant facility,” or something similar. If you see that, it means the supplement was manufactured and probably packaged in a GMP-certified facility.

Kevin Pho: OK. And you touched on this a bit earlier. What exactly goes into GMP certification? You mentioned auditors have to go in and ensure that the factory is producing supplements that contain what the label claims. Can you go into a bit more detail about what it takes for a supplement to be labeled as GMP-certified?

Alisa Sano: Sure. We start with ingredient selection and testing. Facilities must be picky with ingredient selection because what you put in is what you get out. If ingredient selection isn’t controlled, the quality of supplements suffers. They need a system in place for supplier management or a vetting program, often done by contract manufacturers or brand owners auditing suppliers, requiring GMP surveys, and reviewing qualifications and certificates of analysis, which are test reports of raw materials.

GMP auditors evaluate the thoroughness of the supplier control procedure by reviewing documents and records for initial qualification, requalification, and disqualification processes if there are problems in raw materials. Once the facility selects ingredients, they perform identity testing for each ingredient. This verifies that the received ingredient is indeed what the supplier claims it to be.

The identity testing procedure needs to be validated, especially if using in-house methods, and it must fit the purpose. One-size-fits-all doesn’t work, especially for botanicals or herbs. There should be a backup method to verify the origin of botanicals and ensure the identity and chemical characteristics match the established specifications.

Kevin Pho: If I walk into a typical drugstore, approximately what percentage of supplements would be considered GMP-certified?

Alisa Sano: That’s a good question. I don’t know the exact percentage. Usually, you can go to the brand owner’s website and look up the supplement to see if they have a GMP certification list. They might have a GMP mark or a related statement from the brand owner or contract manufacturer. The best way to verify is to look at the back of the packaging or check the website.

A recent survey of 500 U.S. consumers asked about their concerns and expectations when buying dietary supplements online. Only 38 percent of online supplement buyers felt confident about the quality and safety of online supplements. That ties into your question about what percentage of contract manufacturers are GMP-certified.

This confidence level increased to 68 percent when buyers saw an independent certification mark on the supplement packaging. Seventy-one percent of respondents said they would switch brands if they found an equivalent supplement with independent certification.

Kevin Pho: And who is doing the GMP certification? Is it a governmental agency?

Alisa Sano: The FDA has regulations and inspects facilities, but as an auditor, I work for a third-party certification body. It’s an independent, internationally recognized public health organization founded in 1944. Our institution is also ISO-accredited, offering testing, certification, technical services, and health risk assessments with a team of auditors, engineers, microbiologists, toxicologists, chemists, and public health experts in over 110 countries.

Kevin Pho: What are the risks if someone purchases a supplement that isn’t GMP-certified? Do you have any real examples of risks or harms to patients?

Alisa Sano: Yes. There are many adverse events reported in the news. For example, in Japan, there was a huge recall that led to about 100 deaths and more adverse events. The supplement was linked to organ damage, kidney failure, and it wasn’t GMP-certified. It’s a textbook example of the danger of consuming unregulated supplements.

Kevin Pho: So let’s talk about other countries. If someone buys a supplement from another country, is GMP certification an international standard?

Alisa Sano: The FDA’s GMP applies only in the U.S. This is tricky because I audit both the U.S. and APAC regions, and applying the CFR standard can be difficult as requirements can conflict with each country’s standards. For example, ingredient and label claim testing is required in the U.S. but not in Japan or New Zealand. Also, the definition of dietary supplements differs between countries. However, supplements entering the U.S. need to be GMP-compliant to some extent.

Kevin Pho: I often get questions from patients about the safety of supplements. What advice can I give patients when they ask about supplement safety?

Alisa Sano: Not all supplements are created equal. Just because you see them on the store shelf doesn’t mean they’re safe. I encourage patients to look for a GMP statement on the package or check the brand’s website for safety measures or certifications.

Kevin Pho: I assume the main reason some companies don’t comply with GMP certification is cost?

Alisa Sano: Yes, investing in quality control adds up. Facilities need robust quality control departments, testing, and equipment. It’s a long-term investment that helps facilities build consumer trust.

Kevin Pho: And just to clarify, when something is GMP-certified, it only verifies the ingredients. It doesn’t speak to the efficacy or potential drug interactions, right?

Alisa Sano: Correct. GMP doesn’t cover efficacy or potency; it only covers safety and label claim information.

Kevin Pho: We’re talking to Alisa Sano, a public health auditor. Today’s KevinMD article is “GMP versus Non-GMP: The Hidden Truth About Your Supplements.” Alisa, as always, we’ll end with your take-home messages for the KevinMD audience.

Alisa Sano: I’ll repeat myself—not all supplements are created equal. We need to empower health care providers and consumers by increasing health literacy regarding GMP. This will help people make informed decisions when choosing supplements.

Kevin Pho: Alisa, thank you so much for sharing your perspective and insight. Thanks again for coming back on the show.

Alisa Sano: Thank you so much, Kevin.

XRP Price Prediction: Ripple-SEC Case Resolution Close, Analyst Sound Alarm For 800x Growth From This Rival Altcoin

By |2024-11-05T02:47:57+02:00November 5, 2024|Crypto News, News|0 Comments

The Ripple-SEC case is finally approaching its conclusion after over four years of intense legal tussle between both parties. Many in the crypto market are confident that should the dice roll in favor of Ripple in the Ripple-SEC case, the XRP price could surge to new highs.

However, analysts have identified a rival altcoin, WallitIQ (WLTQ), which has the potential to outpace the XRP price with 800x growth in its ongoing presale event. This article discusses why the WallitIQ (WLTQ) rival altcoin will outshine the XRP price after the conclusion of the Ripple-SEC case.

WallitIQ (WLTQ) Rival Altcoin Raises The Roof With Projected 800x Growth In Presale.

Due to the burden on the XRP price from the Ripple-SEC, many investors have rushed into the WallitIQ (WLTQ) ecosystem to have a share in its ongoing presale event. In this presale, WallitIQ (WLTQ) offers a rival altcoin, WLTQ, at a pocket-friendly price of $0.0171 per coin in stage 1.

These investors are hurrying to buy the rival altcoin now because soon its price will jump to $0.0243 in stage 2, leading to automatic profit for all those who participated in stage 1. Investors are also hurrying to join the WallitIQ (WLTQ) ecosystem because it features an advanced AI-powered crypto wallet that is faster, smarter, and safer for crypto users.

Unlike traditional crypto wallets, WallitIQ (WLTQ) takes security one step further by introducing intelligent security, which features AI-driven anomaly detection systems and biometric authentications instead of pins and passwords. Also, as an added security measure, WallitIQ (WLTQ) has agreed to a regular audit of its smart contract to fish out vulnerabilities that can create loopholes that hackers can exploit. Recently, SolidProof, a smart contract security auditing firm, audited the platform’s smart contract and found no critical underlying conditions that can make it vulnerable to cyber-attacks.

Crypto traders would also benefit from the network’s AI-powered predictive analytics tool, which can help them be more efficient when investing in assets. Unlike traditional wallets, WallitIQ (WLTQ) features Push Protocol. This interoperable on-chain activity notification system allows WallitIQ (WLTQ) to evolve from more than just a wallet to a central hub for user interactions across the DeFi space.

WLTQ, the rival altcoin that powers the WallitIQ (WLTQ) ecosystem, serves the purpose of utility and governance, enabling users to participate in the network’s decision-making. Further, only users who hold this rival altcoin can make passive income by staking their token to earn a 180% APR reward.

In addition, users who invest this rival altcoin gain access to premium features like advanced trading analytics and real-time market insights, giving them an edge in trading strategies and portfolio management.

XRP Price Unstable As Ripple-SEC Case Settlement Rumour Surface

On Wednesday, October 30, Phyllis Hamilton, a Californian judge, presided over the Ripple-SEC case as the legal dispute reached another critical junction. Judge Hamilton requested that each party consider an alternative resolution of filing for voluntary dismissal.

XRP, the native token of the XRP Ledger (XRPL), has taken a hit since the Ripple-SEC case began in 2020, with the XRP price dipping by over 50% in just a few days.

However, in 2023, US District Court Judge Analisa Torres ruled in favor of Ripple, causing the XRP price to surge slightly. However, the partial victory did not push the XRP price to new highs.

Moreover, Ripple was not let off the hook by the US SEC, as it filed for Ripple to pay a fine of $2 billion; however, in August 2024, Judge Torres ordered Ripple to pay $125 million as a penalty which is only a fraction of what the SEC had requested.

After the judge’s ruling, investors regained bullish interest in the XRP, causing the XRP price to soar in value. However, the US SEC filed for an appeal in October 2024, and shortly after the filing, the XRP price dipped by 15% to $0.51. According to CoinGecko, the XRP price continues to trade around the $0.51 mark, ranking 7th position in the crypto market.

Conclusion

As the crypto market awaits where the dice will roll in the Ripple-SEC case, experts have speculated an 800x surge for WallitIQ (WLTQ) rival altcoin in presale. Gold Price Forecast: XAU/USD trades around $2,730

By |2024-11-05T02:36:06+02:00November 5, 2024|Forex News, News|0 Comments

XAU/USD Current price: $2,734.50

  • The looming United States presidential election fuels caution among market players.
  • Central banks’ monetary policy announcements take centre stage this week.
  • XAU/USD trades with modest losses, but the long-term view favours the upside.

A better market mood left XAU/USD trading lifeless on Monday. Gold hovers around Friday’s close at $2,736 a troy ounce, as investors preferred high-yielding assets. Bets on who will become the 47th United States (US) president set the market’s tone.  Market participants evaluate whether the Federal Reserve (Fed) would be able to keep loosening the monetary policy or if the central bank will have to battle again increasing price pressures. Americans will go to the polls on Tuesday, with some initial results expected for early Wednesday.

Stock markets trade mixed, with the Nikkei 225 posting sharp losses but the rest of the Asian indexes closing in the green. In Wall Street, however, the three major indexes accelerated south after a mixed opening, as concerns pushed investors back into safety.

This week, besides the US election, will feature central banks’ monetary policy announcements. The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) will unveil its decision on Tuesday, while the Bank of England (BoE) and the Federal Reserve (Fed) will do so on Thursday.

As the US session develops, the US Dollar gathers strength amid mounting risk-aversion, although XAU/USD holds in range.

XAU/USD short-term technical outlook

The daily chart for the XAU/USD pair shows easing bullish momentum, although the risk remains skewed to the upside. The pair keeps developing above bullish moving averages, with the 20 Simple Moving Average (SMA) providing dynamic support at around $2,705.00. The 100 and 200 SMAs accelerated north well below the shorter one, reflecting buyers’ strength. Finally, technical indicators turned marginally lower but remain well above their midlines, hinting at a limited bearish potential.

In the near term, and according to the 4-hour chart, on the contrary, sellers are in control. Technical indicators turned firmly lower within negative levels, while the 20 SMA accelerates south above the current level. The 100 and 200 SMAs maintain their upward slopes below the current price, yet another leg south seems likely should XAU/USD break below $2,730, the immediate support area.

Solana Price Prediction To $800 is Realistic?

By |2024-11-05T00:46:39+02:00November 5, 2024|Crypto News, News|0 Comments

Analysts strongly think that Solana can touch a new high but getting to $800 will depend on several factors such as the further expansion of the DeFi space and the adoption of NFTs and other successful upgrades of the network. DEX trading volume of Solana has also increased recently with a trading volume of its mainnet being 168% of Ethereum’s mainnet trading volume although is attributed to Solana-based DEXs, which show high demand and adoption.

As Solana transitions from the current price level towards $800, the chart showcases significant development from prior innovations and increasing institutional engagement as well as Firedancer upgrade in the long term. Furthermore, it must be noted that Solana might correlate with Bitcoin since its price often increases when Bitcoin is approaching its predicted price of $150,000.

However, With platforms like opening new DeFi opportunities for cryptos, the scene is only getting more favorable to blockchain systems like Solana. If more subscribers and investors come to the DeFi market, more needs for highly efficient platforms like Solana may appear in the future, which can positively influence its price.

Natural Gas Price Forecast: Sees Bullish Reversal After Support Test at 2.51

By |2024-11-05T00:35:31+02:00November 5, 2024|Forex News, News|0 Comments

Bullish Reversal From 20-Day MA Area

Since today’s bullish reversal followed a successful test of support around the short-term 20-Day MA trend indicator earlier in the session, the bearish correction should be complete. Notice that today’s low of 2.51 was a little below the 20-Day line and approaching the 50-Day MA along with the 61.8% Fibonacci retracement at 2.48. Further, an original trendline starting from the 2023 peak has been redrawn on the chart as a dotted blue line. Notice that it identified support for today and provides an additional clue pointing to a likely pullback bottom.

Can Strength be Sustained?

The 20-Day MA is a key near-term trend indicator. Since a successful test of support around the line was completed today, the bullish outlook for natural gas has improved. The question now is whether strong demand as seen today can be sustained to eventually challenge the top boundary line of a large symmetrical triangle formation, and possibly break out?

Recently, two attempts to break up through the top line failed and subsequently led to a pullback. The current advance is rising off a successful test of support around the 200-Day MA following a swing low of 2.21, which is bullish behavior. Moreover, the relationship with the 20-Day MA further confirms improving underlying demand.

Rise Above 2.92 Triggers Breakout

A rise above the recent high of 2.92 will trigger the next upside breakout attempt from the triangle consolidation formation. That would indicate that natural gas has risen above the top boundary line of the pattern. Subsequently, there are prior swing highs at 3.02, 3.16, and 3.39. Each marks a potential pivot level where resistance may be seen, or an upside breakout indicates the continuation of strength. Two rising ABCD patterns, one in orange and the other purple, point to potential initial upside targets at 3.35 and 3.45, respectively.
