Growing a baby is like running a marathon—your body is working extra hard for a long period of time, so it needs additional nutrition to make it through. That’s where prenatal vitamins come into play. They provide nutrients like folic acid, iron, calcium, and other vitamins to help support a healthy pregnancy, which is why both the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommend taking them.
Here, we’ll review Perelel’s prenatal vitamins, including its first-, second-, and third-trimester supplements, which aim to offer targeted nutrients to support each stage of a person’s pregnancy. We tapped Karen Toubi, MD, a board-certified OB/GYN unaffiliated with Perelel, to take a look at the ingredients and help us determine whether the brand is a good choice.
TIP
Always talk to your OB/GYN first before starting a new supplement to determine if it’s right for you based on your individual health needs and any preexisting conditions.
Perelel was co-founded by two moms who were frustrated by their experience with prenatal vitamins during pregnancy. Together, they partnered with a board-certified OB/GYN to create trimester-specific vitamin packs meant to disrupt the “one-size-fits-all” thinking around pregnancy supplements.
Quality-wise, Perelel checks all the boxes when it comes to a prenatal supplement: Its products are backed by clinical research, its facilities follow current Good Manufacturing Practices set by the FDA, and the products undergo third-party testing for purity and potency—in other words, they’re tested to confirm the vitamins actually have the ingredients on the label, in the amounts claimed, and that there are no additional, potentially harmful ingredients present, like heavy metals. This kind of testing is ideal in a prenatal supplement (or any supplement, for that matter) because, unlike medications, the FDA does not review or approve these products before they’re sold.
Related Stories
A monthly supply of Perelel prenatals costs around $60, but signing up for a monthly subscription knocks down the price to about $50 per month. Even with this discount, they’re on the pricier side compared to many other prenatals.
1st trimester pack
Perelel’s first trimester pack is formulated to support the early stages of a baby’s development and help reduce the nausea that can come with morning sickness. Dr. Toubi says the key ingredients include the following:
Methylfolate: An active form of folate, important for the baby’s DNA synthesis and cell growth
Iron: Supports increased blood volume and oxygen transport in the pregnant person’s body
Vitamin B6: May help reduce nausea
Ginger extract: Known for its anti-nausea properties
DHA: Supports fetal brain development
The supplement’s anti-nausea component sets it apart from many other prenatals. “Vitamin B6 may help with nausea, while ginger has been traditionally used to alleviate digestive discomfort. This blend could be helpful for those dealing with mild to moderate morning sickness,” Dr. Toubi says.
Most notably, the supplement has methylfolate instead of folic acid. Both methylfolate and folic acid are supplemental forms of folate, which is crucial for healthy fetus development. Getting enough of this nutrient during pregnancy (especially early in pregnancy) helps prevent neural tube defects, or severe birth defects of the brain and spine.
But there’s some disagreement about whether methylfolate is as effective as folic acid at preventing these birth defects. In fact, the CDC says folic acid is the only form of folate proven to help prevent these defects, and ACOG recommends folic acid for this reason as well (at least 400 micrograms daily). At this time, although the studies on methylfolate are promising, there’s not enough research to say for certain that it’s as good of a choice as folic acid for preventing neural tube defects.
“If someone is taking methylfolate, they should ensure they are consuming adequate dietary folate and may consider a separate folic acid supplement if recommended by their healthcare provider, especially if they have a history of neural tube defects,” Dr. Toubi says.
1st Trimester Prenatal Pack
1st Trimester Prenatal Pack — $58.24
Contains active forms of nutrients like methylfolate, which some folks may absorb better than synthetic forms
The inclusion of ginger and B6 can be beneficial for managing morning sickness
Iron supports increased maternal blood volume
Some people may need to supplement with folic acid
Iron may cause constipation for some
2nd trimester pack
After 12 weeks, the second trimester of pregnancy is a turning point for expecting parents and fetuses. According to Johns Hopkins Medicine, by this point the fetus has developed all of its organs, and now will continue to grow.
Perelel’s second trimester prenatal pack is formulated to support fetal skeletal growth as well as reduce muscle cramps for the pregnant person and ease any lasting nausea. Dr. Toubi breaks down the key nutrients, which include the following:
Calcium: Important for fetal bone development
Vitamin D: Supports calcium absorption and immune function
Iron: Continues to support birthing parent’s blood volume increase
Methylfolate: For ongoing neural tube development
While getting enough iron is crucial during pregnancy, it can contribute to GI issues for some people, mainly constipation, Dr. Toubi says. If the iron in this supplement causes constipation, you may need to talk to your OB/GYN about ways to manage this side effect, such as lifestyle changes, medications like stool softeners, or switching to a different prenatal.
2nd Trimester Prenatal Pack
Perelel 2nd Trimester Prenatal Pack
2nd Trimester Prenatal Pack — $58.24
Calcium and vitamin D support bone health for both the mother and baby
Continued iron intake is crucial as blood volume increases further
Iron might still cause gastrointestinal issues like constipation
Some people may need to supplement with folic acid
3rd trimester pack
In the third and final trimester of pregnancy, it’s all about growth and preparation for the last stretch. Perelel’s third trimester pack is formulated to support the fetus’s rapid growth and help prep the pregnant person’s body to give birth. Dr. Toubi says the key ingredients include the following:
DHA: Continues to support brain development
Calcium: For fetal bone and teeth development
Magnesium: May help with birthing parent’s leg cramps and support overall muscle function
Methylfolate: Ongoing support for neural health
Perelel 3rd Trimester Prenatal Pack
3rd Trimester Prenatal Pack — $58.24
Magnesium can help alleviate cramps and support sleep in the third trimester
Continued support for fetal brain and bone development with DHA and calcium
Similar to previous trimesters, gastrointestinal issues from iron may persist
Some people may need to supplement with folic acid
The bottom line
The general consensus from Dr. Toubi is that each person should talk to their doctor about their individual nutrient needs to make sure they’re getting what they and their baby need during pregnancy.
“Perelel vitamins can be a good choice, especially for those who prefer active forms of nutrients. However, it’s essential for pregnant individuals to consult with a healthcare provider to ensure they meet their specific nutritional needs, particularly regarding folate levels,” she says.
She adds: “For those with particular sensitivity with constipation, it may be helpful to have a prenatal without iron that they can take when needed.”
In the end, she says Perelel’s prenatals are thoughtfully designed and may support a healthy pregnancy, but pregnant folks should also pay attention to the nutrients they’re getting through food and always discuss any and all supplements with their healthcare professional.

XRP has remained strong in the cryptocurrency market for ten years and remains one of the top 10 digital currencies today.
Based on current price projections, a $1,000 investment in Ripple’s coin could bring substantial returns by 2034. The current price stands at $0.514841, making it an accessible entry point for investors.
Why Investing in XRP Now Could Yield Massive Returns by 2034
Source – CryptoRank
Ripple Coin’s Historical Market Position
Ten years ago, XRP was the second-biggest cryptocurrency in the market rankings, with a market cap of $131 million. Bitcoin led the way with $4.76 billion. The Ripple coin’s price then was $0.004548. This price history shows how much the coin can grow over extended periods.
Projected Growth Potential
Telegaon thinks the XRP price will hit $25.16 by 2035. It might even reach a maximum of $27.49. This means $1,000 invested now could grow to $100,000 by 2034. These numbers come from Ripple coin’s past growth patterns and expected future market adoption rates.
‘‘XRP can skyrocket by 2035. As per our prediction, the average price of XRP tokens can be around $25.16 in 2035. As per our price prediction, XRP Coin can reach a maximum price level of $27.49 this year. If more investors are attracted to the project, the prices of XRP may surge more than our price forecast. However, if there is a bearish trend in the market, the XRP token’s minimum price can be down to $22.37 in 2035.”
In July 2023, XRP won part of its court case against the SEC. The court said selling the coin to regular investors wasn’t selling securities. This ruling made more people trust the coin’s future potential. Many big investors and trading platforms returned to the coin after this important decision.
XRP Future Price Indicators
The XRP price projection from CoinCodex says the coin will grow steadily to $2.29 by 2029. This represents a 342.71% increase from today’s price levels, and this steady growth pattern matches how the cryptocurrency market matures over time.
”Over the next several years, the coinis projected to increase, with prices potentially reaching $ 2.29 by 2029. This represents a 342.05% gain from today’s value. The long-term forecast suggests a bullish trend, with potential highs of $ 2.29 and lows of $ 0.270556 over the period.”
Market Position and Adoption Factors
XRP dropped from second to seventh place but stayed strong through multiple legal troubles. Its technology makes transactions happen almost instantly across borders. It processes payments faster than traditional banking systems. This superior speed could help banks adopt Ripple’s coin widely in the future.
You can buy approximately 1,942 XRP tokens with $1,000 at current market prices. Your investment will multiply significantly if the price reaches $25.16 by 2035.
This growth looks increasingly possible because more banks are using Ripple’s coin for international payments, and more large financial institutions are partnering with the network.
Gold’s recent price reversal could trigger a short-term correction, with a break below $2,731.63 likely confirming this bearish chart pattern. If the reversal plays out, we expect gold to test the $2,708.76–$2,697.28 support zone over the next few sessions. A decisive break below this range could accelerate selling toward the 50-day moving average of $2,624.71. Conversely, if prices push above the recent high of $2,790.17, this would negate the reversal, resuming the broader uptrend and supporting gold’s bullish momentum.
Gold Recovers on Profit-Taking and Election-Driven Demand
After profit-taking hit the market on Thursday, pushing gold 1.5% lower, prices rebounded as investors awaited economic insights from the U.S. jobs data. Despite the recent pullback, gold remains up 4% in October as uncertainty ahead of the Nov. 5 U.S. presidential election sustains demand for safe-haven assets.
Traders have kept a close watch on political and economic indicators, with the gold market responsive to any shifts in polling between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, as the race tightens. Additionally, Citi projects gold may reach $3,000 per ounce within six months, citing labor market concerns and sustained ETF inflows as key drivers.
Dollar, Treasury Yields Stable Before Jobs Data Release
The U.S. dollar held steady on Friday, supported by a series of economic data suggesting robust underlying economic conditions despite anticipated Fed rate cuts.
The October NFP report is expected to show an increase of roughly 100,000 jobs, a slowdown from September’s 254,000 figure. Analysts, however, caution that external factors, such as recent hurricanes, could weigh on the numbers.
Treasury yields were flat, with markets largely pricing in a 25-basis-point rate cut at the Fed’s November meeting. Dollar strength remains a central theme, supported by reduced expectations for aggressive rate cuts.

It’s lean, it’s green and it’s taking over Australian cafe cuisine. Matcha, a powdered green tea promising a smooth caffeine hit and numerous health benefits, has become a global sensation, outselling coffee at many cafes, going viral on social media and for the first time depleting stocks at centuries-old Japanese producers.
At Stanmore bakery-cafe Pantry Story, which opened in February, customers queue along Parramatta Road for croissants filled with creamy, matcha-infused frangipane, and iced coconut water layered with a thick matcha foam.
Pantry Store owners Hari Wibowo and Mutiara Putri Sucipto.James Brickwood
Co-owners Mutiara Putri Sucipto and Hari Wibowo say every time they introduce a new matcha item to the menu, it becomes a bestseller.
At Melbourne cafe Bloomwood, customers need to get in line for the strawberry matcha “Bloomtini”, its signature iced drink made with hand-whisked matcha and milk, layered over strawberry foam, and garnished with three tiny croissants on a cocktail pick.
Co-owners Darren Nguyen, Brian Taing and Joe La are espresso enthusiasts who found it “remarkable” when matcha sales began to rival coffee sales, but they’re not alone.
Matcha has become the go-to drink at cafes across the country, including Naau Cafe (Melbourne), where it makes up to 80 per cent of all sales.
“I really feel like it could become as popular as coffee,” says Taka Kaneko, owner of Edo Matcha, a tea shop in Newtown. Kaneko has struggled to keep up with demand, often waiting up to three months for a new shipment to arrive from Japan.
The surge in popularity over the past three to six months has led renowned Japanese tea manufacturers such as Ippodo Tea, Marukyu Koyamaen and Horii Shichimeien to slow and eventually restrict the supply of matcha.
“Few, if any, predicted the rapid increase in matcha’s popularity,” says Axel Snow, a representative of Kyoto’s Ippodo Tea Co.
“There is only one high-quality harvest in this region each year, and grinding these leaves into matcha powder takes time. For the time being, we’ve decided to limit the varieties and quantities available to maintain our strict quality standards.”
Ippodo Tea matcha is traditionally served as a thick tea, whisked with water in a stone bowl.Supplied
The shortage has started to affect Australian retailers and cafes, including Surry Hills tea shop Simply Native. This week, it announced limits on online purchasing.
“Several suppliers have told us they’re pausing production and putting a stop on any future orders,” says manager Megumi Kanaike.
As demand rises, so does the price. Kanaike says Kyoto-based producers of the highest-quality matcha recently increased prices by up to 40 per cent, the first price hike in many years. “You’ll probably notice prices in cafes start to go up as well,” she says.
In Sydney, the drink’s popularity led to the creation of Matcha Club, a monthly social gathering combining activities such as Pilates and picnics with matcha.
“Sydney has a huge matcha scene that continues to grow and gain popularity, so a matcha club seemed like an interesting and unique way to connect with new people and make new friends,” said sisters Ellene and Donna Win, who co-founded the club in June.
Sydney’s Matcha Club meets for social activities such as coastal walks, naturally followed by matchas.Supplied
What is matcha, anyway?
Japanese matcha is a fine powder made from the young, bright green leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant. The plants are traditionally grown under shade and harvested once a year. The leaves, known as tencha, are rich in antioxidants and lower in bitterness than their loose-leaf counterparts (sencha).
To make matcha, the whole leaves are steamed, dried, destemmed and ground on a millstone, a laborious, centuries-old process that must be done slowly to avoid warming and altering the aroma of the leaves.
High-quality matcha is traditionally served as a thick tea, whisked with water in a stone bowl. In Australian cafes, it’s most commonly served as a hot or iced matcha latte, whisked with milk.
What does it taste like?
“Producers try to balance the flavours of umami, bitterness, sweetness, and the fragrance,” says Kanaike. “Every matcha is different, but what makes a good matcha is balance, and that vibrant green colour.”
There are several grades of matcha, from the cheaper culinary variety (mostly used in baking) to the most expensive grade, once reserved for traditional tea ceremonies and Buddhist temples. The traditional methods used to make ceremonial-grade matcha result in a soft, powdery product, deep green in colour, with a gentle sweetness.
Why is it so popular?
According to retailers and cafe owners, there are two key reasons for the matcha boom: it looks good on social media, and its proponents claim it is a healthier source of caffeine.
“In a social media-driven world where aesthetic food and drinks gain attention, matcha has thrived as a visually striking option,” says Joanne Zhang, owner of Melbourne’s Fuumi Fuumi bakery cafes, where matcha sales have outpaced traditional cafe beverages.
“[It’s] a coffee substitute but with more overall health benefits,” says Bloomwood’s Darren Nguyen. “It contains caffeine to give you the energy boost you need, without the side effects, and contains antioxidants [which] can improve one’s wellbeing.”
Is it actually good for me?
Because of the way it’s grown and processed, matcha has a higher concentration of nutrients than loose-leaf green tea. And while there’s no definitive proof about the health claims around matcha, it does contain beneficial antioxidants (linked to the protection of cells), the amino acid L-theanine (which shows early signs of improving cognitive performance and reducing stress) and caffeine (which can increase mental alertness and metabolism).

The Dollar should weaken if Kamala Harris wins next week’s U.S. election, but a balance of probabilities favours strength.
According to a new analysis from Crédit Agricole, the U.S. Dollar will retest 2024 highs in the event of a Donald Trump win next week but fall if Kamala Harris wins.
“A soft landing in the U.S. in 2025 could further suggest that the USD rate appeal could persist in the months after the elections. We subsequently see the USD moving closer to its 2024 highs in the wake of a Trump victory while suffering only limited losses following a Harris win,” says Valentin Marinov, Head of G10 FX Strategy at Crédit Agricole.
Losses for the Dollar in the event of a Harris win would nevertheless put the GBP/USD comfortably back above the 1.30 marker, provided Sterling stabilises following its post-budget wobble.
“EUR/USD and GBP/USD could slump to their Q124 lows or head lower still in response to a Trump victory accompanied by a ‘red wave’ in the US Congress. In contrast, their upside could be limited to 1.10 and 1.33 in the event of a Harris victory and a divided US Congress,” says Marinov.
Analysts at Barclays say a Harris win would see the USD erase the Trump premium, which they think amounts to a 2% drop (i.e. 2% recovery in GBP/USD and EUR/USD).
GBP/USD investment bank consensus forecasts: The end-2024 and 2025 guide from Corpay has been released. It shows a sizeable uplift was made to the consensus forecasts for GBP/USD. Please request a copy here.
Rising odds of a Trump victory are reflected in a strengthening U.S. Dollar through the course of October, which pushed the Pound to Dollar exchange rate to an October 31 low at 1.2843.
Also of significance to the market outlook is the outcome of votes for the Senate and House of Representatives. Should the Republicans win both houses, their control of Congress significantly boosts a Trump agenda.
A “red wave” outcome is increasingly likely, according to betting markets, where the odds of this outcome now sit at 44%.
“We see the most bullish dollar outcome as a red sweep and the most bearish dollar outcome as a blue sweep, but the magnitude of the moves is likely larger in the former,” says George Saravelos, an analyst at Deutsche Bank.
“We see the dollar rising across all currency pairs in a red sweep,” he says.
Analysts say Trump’s policy agenda is more radical than that of his Democrat rival Kamala Harris, putting a number of USD-positive policies and scenarios in play.
“We suspect Trump’s proposed curbs on immigration and new tariffs would be stagflationary,” says Paul Ashworth, Chief North America Economist at Capital Economics.
Trump intends to impose significant import tariffs, which would raise domestic inflation and prevent the Federal Reserve from cutting as far and as fast as previously assumed.
“The proposed 10–20% increase in tariffs across the board has the potential to be inflationary,” says Tom Kenny, Senior International Economist at ANZ Bank.

Best Fat Burner Overall: Transparent Labs Recomp
Transparent Labs Recomp
This fat burner contains research suggested ingredient amounts of green tea extract, as well as synephrine, and HTP-5, which may suppress your appetite.
Ingredient Breakdown
Capsimax (Red Pepper Extract): Also known as cayenne pepper, red pepper may help boost your digestion, as it can help increase good gut bacteria, according to the Cleveland Clinic. Red pepper may also have thermogenic properties, helping increase your calorie burn. (22) That’s why you’ll often find this ingredient in the best thermogenic fat burner supplements.
Green Tea Leaf Extract: Although more research is needed, green tea leaf extract can help increase your energy levels, thanks to the natural caffeine. It also may have a connection to weight loss but it’s modest at best, according to the Cleveland Clinic.
Caffeine: Caffeine won’t necessarily help you burn fat directly but it can give you more energy for your training session, which, as a result, may help increase your calorie expenditure. (1)
Let’s be honest, event the best belly fat burner supplement won’t just torch fat on your body. But paired with a calorie deficit and exercise routine, they may be able to help encourage your progress. Considering the ingredients, third-party testing, and transparency, we recommend Transparent Labs as our top fat burner overall.
“I’m usually hesitant with fat burners, but I appreciate that Recomp has been tested by a third party,” according to Chelsea Rae Bourgeois, RDN, who gave the formulation a 3.5 out of 5. “I also like that Transparent Labs provides research-backed ingredients. Still, fat burners aren’t necessarily appropriate for everyone.”
One serving includes 300 milligrams of green tea leaf extract, 250 milligrams of forslean (10 percent forskolin), 125 milligrams of natural caffeine, and 50 milligrams of capsimax (red pepper extract). However, these are all relatively small doses, according to Bourgeois. Considering you have to take multiple doses per day, though, that makes sense.
That being said, we had to give the dosage convenience a 3 out of 5. Taking multiple servings per day can be tedious. Transparent Labs does recommend starting with one capsule twice daily, though, to assess your tolerance.
“I like that Transparent Labs doesn’t promote Recomp as a magic pill,” Bourgeois said. “If you’re sensitive to caffeine, the multiple doses of caffeine may not be ideal for you.” So, for those who like to train in the evening, this pick may not be ideal.
This isn’t the cheapest fat burner on this list, earning a 4 out of 5 for cost. Technically, one serving is only $0.91. However, you do need to take more than one serving daily, which technically increases the cost.
This fat burner combines ingredients to help potentially suppress appetite, boost energy, and increase your total calorie burn. Plus, these capsules are vegetarian-friendly.
Pros
L-carnitine may help with fat loss
Filler- and dye-free formulation
Ingredient Breakdown
L-Carnitine: Naturally available in plenty of foods, carnitine transports fatty acids into the mitochondria of a cell and is needed to break down fatty acid chains, per the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
Green Tea Leaf Extract: Green tea extract is often used to help increase mental focus and aid weight loss. Plus, it has caffeine content to enhance energy levels, according to the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH).
Cayenne Pepper Extract: Cayenne pepper may help improve your digestion by boosting the good bacteria in your gut, according to the Cleveland Clinic. This ingredient may even promote thermogenesis, potentially helping you burn more calories. (22)
There’s no one best fat burner pill that’s more suited to one gender over another. That being said, Jacked Factory BURN-XT contains common fat-burner ingredients, which may be able to help people of any gender along their fat-loss journey.
This supplement contains a few common fat burner ingredients, like l-carnitine. Although a supplement can’t do as much as a fat-loss-focused diet and workout routine, l-carnitine may help you lose weight. (21)
“I’m generally not a fan of fat burners, but this contains fewer questionable ingredients than others on the market,” according to Chelsea Rae Bourgeois, RDN, who gave the formulation a 3.5 out of 5. “They should still be included mindfully and under the guidance of a doctor if possible.”
You also get 225mg of green tea leaf extract, which may help promote your weight-loss journey and control blood sugar levels. Each serving also provides 135mg of caffeine, which can also increase energy levels, while 25mg of cayenne pepper fruit extract is intended to help increase your calorie burn through thermogenesis.
“The research on acetyl l-carnitine and fat loss is mixed, but I like that Jacked Factory is using a compound that’s naturally made in the human body as a primary ingredient,” Bourgeois says. We also like that the bottle provides supplement facts for one and two capsules, however you do need to take two doses per day, so we gave the dosage convenience a 3 out of 5.
We gave the cost per serving a 5 out of 5. Each 60-serving bottle costs about $34.99 or around $0.58 per serving, making this fat burner fairly affordable compared to others. However, given that you need to take multiple doses per day, this does up the cost.
Best Fat Burner for Women: Legion Phoenix Fat Burner
Legion Phoenix
Legion's Phoenix is made completely of all-natural ingredients and herbs, which is unlike most other fat burner products. You can also buy this in a caffeine-free version.
Pros
Research-backed ingredients
L-DOPA may help with focus
Can buy with or without caffeine
Cons
No cayenne pepper extract
Ingredient Breakdown
5-HTP: As noted with some of our other products, 5-HTP is found in many fat burners and may help reduce hunger and cravings, according to Mount Sinai Medicine.
Forskolin: This root extract may help increase your body’s fat-burning abilities, according to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
L-DOPA: Also known as levodopa, this ingredient may help reduce brain fog and increase focus, as it acts like dopamine in your brain, according to the Mayo Clinic.
As mentioned before, no one fat burner pill is necessarily better for one gender than another. But we do like the quality ingredients in Legion Phoenix for anyone who wants a higher-end fat burner.
This is a pretty complete fat burner, earning a 3.75 out of 5 for formula, according to Chelsea Rae Bourgeois, RDN. “Legion Phoenix supplies the body with many important nutrients, many of which can help support weight management efforts,” she says.
It’s got 5-HTP, caralluma fimbriata, and forskolin, which all may help increase your metabolism, suppress your appetite, and burn fat. 5-HTP may not be safe for everyone, though, according to Kubala. People taking certain medications (like SSRIs, MAOIs, or tricyclic antidepressants) should check with a doctor before taking this supplement.
While they may offer some benefits, herbal ingredients aren’t appropriate for everyone, Kubala says. So, if you have pre-existing health conditions or are taking other medications, you may want to chat with a doctor or steer clear of this product.
In addition to these less common ingredients, this fat burner also contains 200mg of caffeine and a dose of B vitamins, which are more common in fat burning supplements. Plus, you’ll find a kick of L-DOPA, which can help increase focus and reduce brain fog — a great asset if you are hitting your workouts hard in the gym.
One 30-serving bottle is $49.99, which is about $1.67 per serving, earning Phoenix a 3.75 out of 5 for price. Plus, this one is available on Amazon Prime, so you can get it in a matter of days.
Best Non-Stim Fat Burner: Transparent Labs Recomp Stim-Free
Transparent Labs Recomp Stim-Free
Transparent Labs Recomp Stim-Free
Transparent Labs Recomp Stim-Free is a fat burning supplement that's totally free of stimulants, so you can take it in the evening without staying up. Transparent Labs' ingredients are third-party tested and free of artificial ingredients, too.
Pros
Includes grean tea, forskolin, cayenne pepper
Cons
Need to assess tolerance gradually
Black pepper extract may not have many benefits
Ingredient Breakdown
Forslean (10 percent forskolin): Although more research is needed, animal research suggests this ingredient may help speed your body’s ability to process sugars. (29)
L-Theanine: This ingredient may help boost your mental clarity, making it easier to focus on your workouts and, as a result, train harder, according to the Cleveland Clinic.
Most fat burner supplements contain a pretty big dose of caffeine, which isn’t exactly ideal for athletes who are sensitive to caffeine or enjoy training in the evening. Luckily, Transparent Labs Recomp offers a stim-free version.
“Recomp Stim-Free uses research-backed ingredients, but that doesn’t eliminate the risks associated with fat burners,” according to Chelsea Rae Bourgeois, RDN, who gave the formulation a 3.5 out of 5. “Fat burners are not appropriate for everyone but I appreciate that Recomp Stim-Free has been tested by a third-party lab.”
Unfortunately, the dosage isn’t the most convenient. Transparent Labs recommends taking two capsules twice daily about 30 to 60 minutes before eating. We had to give this product a 3 out of 5 for dosage convenience, as you do have to keep the supplement handy multiple times per day. For those traveling or eating on-the-go, this probably isn’t too convenient .
When it comes to cost, Recomp Stim-Free isn’t the priciest pick. One serving is only about $0.91. However, our team did give this product a 4 out of 5 for cost, as you do have to take multiple servings per day. Ultimately, this drives up the price.
Best L-Carnitine: 1st Phorm L-Carnitine
1st Phorm L-Carnitine
1st Phorm packs 1,500 milligrams of L-carnitine in this supplement. Unlike most other fat burners, this is actually a powder, so you can mix it with your other powdered supplements. It also has a pretty budget-friendly price per serving.
Pros
1,500 milligrams L-carnitine per serving
Powder can mix with other supplements
Cons
Includes artificial flavors
L-carnitine dose may be too high
Ingredient Breakdown
L-Carnitine: This ingredient may help promote weight loss when used alongside a low-calorie diet or exercise, according to the National Institutes of Health (NIH). However, more research is needed in this area.
Fucoxanthin: Some research has shown that fucoxanthin might be connected to weight loss but more research is definitely needed. (29)
1st Phorm’s L-Carnitine supplement isn’t technically a fat burner but may help promote fat loss alongside a calorie deficit and consistent exercise. However, larger studies are still needed to directly connect carnitine supplements with weight loss, according to the NIH. Nevertheless, the 1,500 milligrams of carnitine per serving does meet (and exceed) the clinically-researched dose.
“The 1,500 milligrams of L-carnitine per scoop is very close to the researched recommendation of 2,000 milligrams daily,” according to Chelsea Rae Bourgeois, who gave the formulation a 3.5 out of 5. “However, it may be overdoing it, as L-carnitine is found in various food sources.”
This formula also includes 200 milligrams of green tea leaf extract and 2,500 milligrams of fucoxanthin. This is an ingredient that’s found in brown seaweed and contains powerful antioxidants. Some studies have suggested that fucoxanthin may have some anti-obesity effects but more research is needed. We don’t love that the formula uses sucralose and artificial flavors, though.
1st Phorm’s L-Carnitine comes in five different flavors, though it’s a powdered supplement, unlike the others on this list. We gave the convenience a 4 out of 5, as you can combine with other powders in your supplement stack. However, considering there’s no unflavored option, it may not mix well with other flavored products.
The price point for this product is pretty approachable, especially compared to some of the other fat burners on this list. One 60-serving container costs $42.99, which is about $0.71 per serving. Our team gave this one a 4.5 out of 5 for cost per serving, as it’s pretty budget-friendly, though it is recommended to take two scoops per day.
Best Berberine: BulkSupplements Berberine HCL Powder
BulkSupplements Berberine HCL Powder
BulkSupplements Berberine HCL Powder
BulkSupplements Berberine HCL powder only has one ingredient — berberine HCL. You can buy this product in bulk sizes to save money but at only $0.21 per serving for the smallest container, we still think this one is extremely budget-friendly.
Pros
Only contains 500 milligrams berberine hcl
Cons
Fewer ingredients than other fat burners
Berberine can interact with medications
Ingredient Breakdown
Berberine HCl: There is some anecdotal evidence that suggests berberine may help lower appetite, however more research is needed. It may also affect insulin levels and therefore weight loss but again, more clinical research is needed in this area, too, according to the Mayo Clinic.
BulkSupplements Berberine HCl has a pretty simple formula, as it only contains one ingredient with zero additives. Berberine is an ingredient found in a variety of plants and has been thought to have weight-loss-benefit properties. Right now, research has found that berberine may help decrease fat levels, however these preclinical studies were conducted on rats, making it difficult to assess how berberine supplements may affect humans. (7)
“There is still so much to learn about berberine and its effects on fat loss,” Chelsea Rae Bourgeois, RDN, says, rating the formulation a 2.5 out of 5. “In addition to the limited research, the potential for medication interactions really gives me pause. Plus, it’s not third-party tested.”
This supplement is an unflavored powder, making it easy to mix with other supplements in a smoothie or shaker bottle. We did have to give the dosage convenience a 3.5 out of 5, though, as this doesn’t come with a scooper. And considering the serving size is one fifth of a teaspoon, a food scale may be needed.
Our team does like that this product comes in bulk options, which is great for athletes who want to save a little extra. Price-wise, this product earned a 5 out of 5. One 50-gram container contains 100 servings and only costs $21.96. That’s about $0.21 per serving, which probably falls within most athlete’s budgets.
Best Green Tea Extract: Thorne Green Tea Extract
Thorne Green Tea Extract
Thorne packs 250 milligrams of green tea extract in just one capsule of this supplement to help potentially increase your body fat burn. Our team also loves that this supplement is available on Amazon Prime for quick delivery.
Pros
250 milligrams green tea extract per serving
Only one capsule per serving
Cons
Fewer ingredients than other products
Ingredient Breakdown
Green Tea Phytosome: Some research has shown that supplementing with green tea extract may help increase fat burn while you’re exercising and at rest. (6) However, the results of green tea extract research are pretty inconsistent.
Green tea extract is among the most common ingredients you’ll find in most fat burner supplements. So, if you don’t want to fully dive into a fat burner pill, these are an alternative to consider. One capsule provides 250 milligrams of decaffeinated green tea extract, which may help support weight loss, according to the Cleveland Clinic.
However, as with most weight-loss supplements, the connection between weight loss and green tea extract is pretty modest. Green tea may help increase your total fat burn while you’re exercising and recovering but different studies show different results. (6) So, more research is needed for a firm connection between the two.
“The research has shown that green tea extract may offer many benefits for the average healthy adult,” according to Chelsea Rae Bourgeois, RDN, who gave this formula a 4 out of 5. “However, it doesn’t come without risks and it should be discussed with your doctor before adding to your supplement routine.”
For dosage convenience, we gave this product a 3.5 out of 5. While the serving size is one capsule only, Thorne does recommend taking two to three servings daily or as recommended by your personal doctor. So, keeping these supplements handy at all times isn’t the most convenient.
These aren’t the most budget-friendly capsules, though. One bottle of 60 servings only costs $30, which is only $0.50 per serving. However, considering you need to take up to three servings per day, that’s really more like $1.50 per day. So, in this category, our team gave Thorne a 3.5 out of 5.
How We Tested and Chose the Best Fat Burners
When selecting the best fat burner supplements for this list, we applied our supplement testing methodology to consider ingredients and dosing, based on research and cost. Fat burners are not a must-buy supplement, but if you want to give them a try, we’re here to help you make the most educated (and effective) purchase possible.
Dosage: If an ingredient is solid, but the dosage isn’t effective, then what’s it actually doing? We strive to choose products that offer the right ingredients in the right doses that are priced accordingly.
Proprietary Blends: We favored fat burners that rely on transparent labeling over products with proprietary blends. We want you to know what you’re getting and exactly how much.
Price: A pricier fat burner most likely contains more ingredients and higher doses. We aimed to showcase fat burners mostly in the middle, including premium and budget options, too.
Customer Satisfaction: While one fat burner may work wonders for your gym buddy, it may not have the same effect on your physique. With that said, we did our best to choose popular products that customers seem to enjoy and buy consistently.
Quality: We ran all our products by an RD to make sure that we aren’t promoting any sketchy or potentially dangerous ingredients. Always check with a medical professional but these products are likely safe for most athletes.
Third-Party Testing: Our team always prioritizes products that have been tested and verified by a third-party lab. That way, we can help ensure that you’re getting products with accurate labels.
Here’s a breakdown of what fat burning supplements may be able to do. For the most part, fat burners are safe but they may not be appropriate for every person. If you have any pre-existing conditions or are taking other medications, it’s best to double check with your physician.
Fat Oxidation Having your macros dialed in and training consistently should always come first, but certain ingredients in fat burners have been shown to coax your body into using (or oxidizing) stored fat. Specifically, green tea extract — well, the compound EGCG, found in green tea — and L-carnitine.
Thermogenesis Your body burns calories (necessary for fat loss) simply by regulating normal functions, like breathing, temperature regulation, and organ function. Most fat burners include capsaicin or capsimax (extracted from chili peppers) and caffeine to increase your internal temperature. In doing so, your body works with higher intensity to cool down and burn more calories.
Appetite Suppression Eating at a calorie deficit can be tough, especially when you need to train at a high intensity, too. This is why many fat burners contain ingredients like 5-HTP, fiber, and psyllium husk to help you feel full. That way, you’re less likely to give in to spur-of-the-moment cravings or mindless eating.

Potential Side Effects of Fat Burner Supplements
While the FDA takes measures to ban dangerous substances from fat burners, they may still cause some unwelcome side effects. Fat burners with stimulants like caffeine or beta-alanine can cause increased heart rate, nausea, dizziness, and irregular heartbeats. Plus, ingredients in fat burners can interact with other food, medications, or other dietary supplements you may be taking.
It’s always a good idea to consult with your doctor before starting a new fat burner pill cycle, and if you do start to experience serious side effects, stop using the product immediately. People with pre-existing medical conditions or those who are taking other medications should consult a physician before trying a fat burner.
Legion Phoenix Stim-Free Fat Burner.
While fat burners can speed up fat loss, remember that they are designed as a supplement to (not a replacement for) a healthy, low-calorie diet and regular exercise. If you’re already experiencing weight loss through diet and exercise, a fat burner may not be necessary.
How Much Do Fat Burners Cost?
Fat burners are fairly inexpensive — though you need to weigh the cost of the container against the number of servings you’re getting in that container. This number will usually come out somewhere around $0.50 to $1.00 per serving (however, the premium fat burners cost around $2.00 per serving).

What to Consider Before Buying a Fat Burner
As with most supplements, it’s important to consider your personal fitness goals before buying a product. In this case, you’ll want to weigh the types of ingredients you’re looking for, the time at which you’ll be taking your fat burner and/or exercising, and the price you’re willing to pay.
Ingredients
First and foremost, you’ll want to consider the type of potential fat burn you are looking for. As we discussed, fat burners use ingredients that may help with fat oxidation, thermogenesis, and appetite suppression. While many fat burners include ingredients that do all three of these things, oftentimes a product will lean more heavily toward one of the three in particular. Before you decide which fat burner you want to buy, you should consider which of these processes you want to prioritize.
Fat burner supplement in container.
You’ll also want to look out for proprietary blends of ingredients. We recommend sticking to products that disclose the dosage of every ingredient in their fat burner. If a product lists a proprietary blend without the dosage, you have no way of knowing what you’re getting in your supplement or if the dosage you’re getting can be effective.
Timing
Though you can take your fat burner when you wake up in the morning to jumpstart your metabolism, many people choose to take their fat burners before they workout. If you are one of these people, you’ll want to consider the stimulants — like caffeine — in your fat burner. If you’re a morning workout person, great — you’re good to go. However, if you prefer to workout late at night, you may want to opt for a fat burner that doesn’t contain any stimulants. If you take a fat burner with caffeine too late in the day, it could potentially mess with your sleep.
Price
Most fat burners will include the typical big hitters — cayenne pepper, caffeine, and green tea — but if you’re willing to dish out a little extra cash, some fat burners may also include extras like HMB or DMAE that can help with things outside of fat burn (in this case, muscle retention and mood).
Best Fat Burners FAQs
Are fat burners safe?
The FDA doesn’t regulate fat burners in the same way that it does other supplements. That said, most fat burners include common ingredients in reasonable doses. What you shouldn’t do is stray from the recommended dosage and take more. That won’t get you ripped faster, but it may make you ill.
Also, before you try a fat burner, it’s best to confirm with your physician that they’re safe for your body.
Do I need a fat burner?
Nope. Following your macros, training hard, and even upping your daily step count should come first. You cannot — we repeat, cannot — take only a pill or powder and expect results. If you eat well and train a few times a week, however, a fat burner may help expedite the process a little bit.
Should I take a fat burner before my cheat meal to offset the damage?
Although we know it’s a common word, we don’t love to consider eating certain foods as ‘cheating.’ With that said, if you’re going to indulge or stray from your meal plan, enjoy it. A single meal isn’t going to offset your progress.
But if you find yourself consistently craving calorie-dense, processed foods, you may want to reevaluate your daily diet and potentially add some nutritious calories to your meals.
When should I take fat burners?
Be sure to read the packaging of the specific product you buy, as it may have different recommendations. Since fat burners contain a lot of ingredients that can help supply energy (like caffeine), it may be beneficial to take them pre-workout for an added jolt of energy. (6)(7) However, be cautious, as some fat burners may cause a spike in your heart rate, and that’s not ideal when you need stability and precision to execute a heavy lift. (26)

The heat map shows percentage changes of major currencies against each other. The base currency is picked from the left column, while the quote currency is picked from the top row. For example, if you pick the Euro from the left column and move along the horizontal line to the US Dollar, the percentage change displayed in the box will represent EUR (base)/USD (quote).
EUR/USD benefited from the selling pressure surrounding the US Dollar (USD) following mixed macroeconomic data releases on Thursday and extended its weekly uptrend. The Initial Jobless Claims declined by 12,000 to 216,000 for the week ending October 26, while the Employment Cost Index rose by 0.8% in the third quarter, falling short of the market expectation for an increase of 0.9%.
Nonfarm Payrolls (NFP) in the US are forecast to rise by 113,000 in October following the 254,000 increase recorded in September. A reading below 100,000 could trigger another leg of USD selloff and allow EUR/USD to push higher. On the flip side, a positive surprise, with an NFP print of 150,000 or higher, could support the USD and make it difficult for the pair to keep its footing heading into the weekend.
Investors could look to adjust positions ahead of the US presidential election and Federal Reserve policy meeting next week and trigger irregular movements in financial markets. Hence, it could be risky to bet on a directional move depending on the outcome of the US labor market data.
EUR/USD Technical Analysis
EUR/USD was last seen trading within a few pips of the pivot level at 1.0870, where the 200-day and the 20-day Simple Moving Averages (SMA) meet. Once the pair confirms this level as support, technical buyers could remain interested. In this scenario, 1.0900 (round level, static level) could be seen as interim resistance before 1.0940 (100-day SMA) and 1.1000 (round level, 50-day SMA).
If EUR/USD fails to clear 1.0870, it could come under renewed bearish pressure and retreat toward 1.0800 (round level) and 1.0750 (static level).
Nonfarm Payrolls FAQs
Nonfarm Payrolls (NFP) are part of the US Bureau of Labor Statistics monthly jobs report. The Nonfarm Payrolls component specifically measures the change in the number of people employed in the US during the previous month, excluding the farming industry.
The Nonfarm Payrolls figure can influence the decisions of the Federal Reserve by providing a measure of how successfully the Fed is meeting its mandate of fostering full employment and 2% inflation. A relatively high NFP figure means more people are in employment, earning more money and therefore probably spending more. A relatively low Nonfarm Payrolls’ result, on the either hand, could mean people are struggling to find work. The Fed will typically raise interest rates to combat high inflation triggered by low unemployment, and lower them to stimulate a stagnant labor market.
Nonfarm Payrolls generally have a positive correlation with the US Dollar. This means when payrolls’ figures come out higher-than-expected the USD tends to rally and vice versa when they are lower. NFPs influence the US Dollar by virtue of their impact on inflation, monetary policy expectations and interest rates. A higher NFP usually means the Federal Reserve will be more tight in its monetary policy, supporting the USD.
Nonfarm Payrolls are generally negatively-correlated with the price of Gold. This means a higher-than-expected payrolls’ figure will have a depressing effect on the Gold price and vice versa. Higher NFP generally has a positive effect on the value of the USD, and like most major commodities Gold is priced in US Dollars. If the USD gains in value, therefore, it requires less Dollars to buy an ounce of Gold. Also, higher interest rates (typically helped higher NFPs) also lessen the attractiveness of Gold as an investment compared to staying in cash, where the money will at least earn interest.
Nonfarm Payrolls is only one component within a bigger jobs report and it can be overshadowed by the other components. At times, when NFP come out higher-than-forecast, but the Average Weekly Earnings is lower than expected, the market has ignored the potentially inflationary effect of the headline result and interpreted the fall in earnings as deflationary. The Participation Rate and the Average Weekly Hours components can also influence the market reaction, but only in seldom events like the “Great Resignation” or the Global Financial Crisis.
Solana (SOL) is in the news as its latest value trends have captivated traders’ attention, especially following the noteworthy shifts of Bitcoin. Despite a 2% decline on Wednesday, the long-term prediction of the leading coin, Solana, still appears to be positive.
This shift in the price of the coin is supported by on-chain data and technical indicators indicating that SOL might stay on an upward trajectory. On the other hand, IntelMarkets (INTL), an AI blockchain platform set to launch in 2025, is getting attention as a potential factor that could impact SOL’s value trajectory.
Soaring On-Chain Metrics Indicate Positive Momentum for Solana (SOL)
Experts have noticed a hike in Solana’s on-chain activity that could be a catalyst for further price rise. Between October 24 and October 29, the coin’s trading volume went up from $126.46 million to $163.09 million, peaking at $341.1 million on October 25. Such an uprise in volume often signals heightened interest from investors and traders.
It is noteworthy that the coin’s transaction volume has also hiked, starting from 17.4 million to 19.2 million transactions in the span of five days. Unique active wallets (UAW) on Solana also went up by two folds, jumping from 3.06 million to 6.19 million in this period. Typically, an uprise in active wallets indicates growing investor engagement and interest in Solana’s space, potentially fueling demand for SOL.
If SOL maintains its position on this path, experts predict it could touch the lower boundary of the Fair Value Gap (FVG) around $193.69, marking a potential 9% rise from current levels. This forecast is supported by the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) indicator, which currently shows positive momentum in SOL’s trajectory.
Could the AI-driven platform, IntelMarkets’ 2025 Launch Accelerate SOL’s Journey?
IntelMarkets, a new AI-integrated blockchain platform, is all poised to launch in 2025, bringing innovative technologies that some experts believe could indirectly impact SOL’s price forecast.
As one of the first blockchain platforms to combine machine learning with decentralized finance (DeFi), IntelMarkets is on the track to reshape trading with a blend of AI-based trading tools and real-time data optimization.
One of IntelMarkets’ standout features is its “Autopilot Trading Robots,” which allow users to set their trading preferences—including risk tolerance, leverage, and position sizing—while relying on AI to autonomously make trades.
Given Solana’s established ecosystem, IntelMarkets’ launch could encourage a broader trend of integrating AI in blockchain, which might drive increased interest and investment in blockchain assets like SOL.
IntelMarkets also employs real-time data processing, using hyperparameter optimization across multiple technical indicators to maximize performance. With AI and DeFi poised to revolutionize financial markets, the launch of IntelMarkets could shift investor attention toward blockchain projects with strong technical capabilities, such as Solana.
While IntelMarkets itself is not directly related to Solana, its market presence could contribute to a positive sentiment for AI-integrated blockchain solutions, benefiting SOL and similar assets.
IntelMarkets (INTL): A Closer Look at the AI-Driven Trading Platform
IntelMarkets introduces a unique approach to blockchain with its proprietary Layer-1 AI blockchain, setting it apart from other trading platforms. IntelMarkets leverages AI-powered trading robots, which adjust automatically based on the user’s trading objectives. These self-operating tools are designed to make trading accessible and efficient, reducing the need for manual adjustments.
A significant part of IntelMarkets’ value lies in its Intelli-M™ robots, which continuously learn and improve from real-time market data and past trading experiences. This self-learning capability allows for a more adaptable and potentially profitable trading experience over time, which could appeal to a wide range of crypto traders.
IntelMarkets also addresses a common issue in trading—mixed signals from technical indicators. The Intell-Array™ monitoring system consolidates data from numerous indicators to produce a single, cohesive signal, helping traders make informed decisions based on over 100,000 data points.
As IntelMarkets prepares to launch, its advanced AI and blockchain features could help draw investor interest towards the broader blockchain market. This increased interest might drive attention to other blockchain projects, like Solana, known for its fast, scalable platform and growing ecosystem.

It’s lean, it’s green, and it’s taking over Australian cafe cuisine. Matcha, a powdered green tea promising a smooth caffeine hit and numerous health benefits, has become a global sensation, outselling coffee at many cafes, going viral on social media, and depleting stocks at centuries-old Japanese producers for the first time.
“Few, if any, predicted the rapid increase in matcha’s popularity,” says Axel Snow, a representative of Kyoto-based company Ippodo Tea Co.
“In a social media-driven world where aesthetic food and drinks gain attention, matcha has thrived as a visually striking option,” says Joanne Zhang, owner of Melbourne-based bakery cafes Fuumi Fuumi, where matcha sales have outpaced traditional cafe beverages.
And while there’s no definitive proof about the health claims around matcha, it does contain beneficial antioxidants (linked to the protection of cells), the amino acid L-theanine (which shows early signs of improving cognitive performance and reducing stress), and caffeine (which can increase mental alertness and metabolism).

Recent developments indicate that BNB price could be poised for an early recovery, as bulls set sights set on retaking the $600 level. Technical signals on the BNBUSD daily chart below also support this bullish forecast.
The first indicator is the Pivot Point, where BNB currently holds above the main pivot support at $552.43. This level serves as a significant anchor, suggesting that bulls have defended this zone effectively.
If BNB can maintain its position above this pivot, it could provide the momentum needed to challenge the $600 resistance in the coming days. Notably, if buying pressure increases, bulls may aim for the first resistance level (R1) around $620.16, which could act as a springboard for further gains.
