Dogecoin (DOGE) price, a meme-based cryptocurrency, surged over 17% in October as investors anticipated a stronger market close. DOGE showed signs of consolidation amid the broader crypto market’s efforts to regain momentum. Heading into November 2024, analysts suggest Dogecoin could be on the cusp of another potential breakout, with several experts cautioning against selling too early. This position is driven by renewed interest in the meme coin’s upward trajectory, with many analysts projecting additional gains for DOGE in the coming weeks.
Crypto Analyst Warns on Dogecoin Sales
Despite current low entry points, crypto analyst Bluntz cautions investors against prematurely selling Dogecoin. He notes the extensive 874-day accumulation phase that Dogecoin has undergone, which he believes could deter investors from holding onto their positions.
Highlighting a historical chart, he suggests that many still need to remember the volatility associated with Dogecoin and might sell too soon before any significant upward movement.
many will succumb to selling $doge too early, despite getting in at these low levels.

The crypto expert shared an X post highlighting a potential bullish run for Dogecoin this November. According to the analyst, if Dogecoin price prediction can secure a sustained close above $0.20, it could trigger a parabolic price surge. Historical trends in the shared chart support this claim, as similar breakout setups have led to significant rallies.
Currently, the price of DOGE is around $0.061. Investors and enthusiasts are closely observing Dogecoin’s action. Past performances reveal that Dogecoin experienced exponential gains after breaking through downtrend lines, suggesting a possible repeat if resistance levels are breached.
Investors are urged to recognize the upper echelons of the meme coin hierarchy to achieve significant gains during the upcoming meme coin cycle. This level, which includes categories like movements, missions, and cult coins, holds the highest potential for wealth generation.
The chart highlights the importance of focusing on a few coins, with fewer than 25 in the top tiers. As market experts suggest, understanding and identifying these categories could differentiate the successful from the uninformed in the volatile world of meme coins.
To make generational wealth in the upcoming Memecoin Supercycle…
The upper part of the pyramid is what you need to identify.
Meanwhile, popular analysts are drawing attention to the Dogecoin price, declaring it a prominent pick for the current cycle. According to his analysis, DOGE has repeatedly demonstrated its resilience and potential, making it an “obvious” choice for this market phase.
Despite his assertion analyst anticipates skepticism, suggesting that many might overlook Dogecoin’s potential to reach new highs in the near future.
Dogecoin’s current price trajectory and historical patterns hint at a promising rally, making early selling potentially costly. Experts advise patience, suggesting holding DOGE could yield substantial gains amid the meme coin cycle.

Italy’s Finance Minister Talks Tax Raise on Crypto
Italy’s finance minister on Thursday defended his decision to increase taxes on cryptocurrency capital gains in next year’s budget, despite opposition from some lawmakers within his party.
Giancarlo Giorgetti emphasized that savers should differentiate between investments that support real-world projects and cryptocurrencies, which he noted have values entirely disconnected from underlying assets.
Binance Founder Makes His Return
Binance founder and former CEO Changpeng Zhao received an enthusiastic welcome from a packed crowd upon his return to the crypto scene after his release from a U.S. prison.
At Binance Blockchain Week, attendees crowded together to hear Zhao, known as “CZ,” make his first public appearance since his release last month. He recently completed a four-month sentence after pleading guilty to violating the Bank Secrecy Act while leading the exchange.
Ether Price Slips
Cryptocurrency prices and related stocks declined broadly on Thursday, as traders appeared to scale back long positions following recent price surges.
After falling short of its record high above $73,700 overnight, Bitcoin (BTC) slipped below $71,000, marking a 2% decrease in the past 24 hours. Many altcoins in the CoinDesk 20 Index saw even steeper declines, with Ethereum’s ether (ETH) dropping 6% and Aptos (APT) and Render (RNDR) each down 5%. The CoinDesk 20 overall fell 2.8%. Bitcoin’s market dominance, which tracks its share of total cryptocurrency market capitalization, rose to a new three-year high of 60.2%, according to TradingView data.
From October 31 through November 6, weather systems are expected to bring cooler temperatures across parts of the western and central U.S., with highs ranging between the 40s and 60s Fahrenheit. Meanwhile, the southern and eastern U.S. will experience milder weather with highs in the 60s to 80s, and occasional peaks in the 90s in isolated areas. These conditions contribute to an overall light demand profile for natural gas this week.
Anticipated Storage Report Adds Bearish Pressure
The U.S. Energy Information Administration’s (EIA) weekly natural gas storage report, due later Thursday, is also expected to pressure prices downward. Analysts expect a substantial inventory build, with estimates clustered around an 84 billion cubic feet (Bcf) injection. This projection significantly exceeds the five-year average build of 67 Bcf, underscoring a supply surplus amid mild weather that limited consumption in recent days.
If the EIA confirms a build near 84 Bcf, it would mark a notable increase, pointing to ample supply levels as the market heads into the winter season. With production steady and wind energy contributing robustly to electricity generation, less natural gas is currently needed to meet power demands. The market outlook remains sensitive to inventory levels, with larger-than-average injections creating a bearish outlook as they continue to weigh on prices.
Market Forecast: Bearish Outlook
Given the warmer weather outlook, lighter-than-normal demand, and anticipated storage injection above seasonal norms, the short-term outlook for U.S. natural gas prices remains bearish. Unless colder weather patterns emerge, price recovery may be limited in the near term as supply continues to outpace demand. Traders should monitor upcoming weather model updates and next week’s EIA storage data closely, as any significant deviations from current forecasts could drive volatility in either direction.
Maintaining a balanced diet is important at every stage of life. However, it becomes even more important to pay attention to what you eat as you age to support everything from your bone health to your immune system. This is particularly prudent for older adults, who are at a higher risk for low vitamin consumption than younger people, according to a paper published in Clinical Interventions in Aging.
Most can get the vitamins and minerals they need through their diet, but your doctor may also recommend supplements or multivitamins, especially if you’re on certain medications that deplete your body of a particular nutrient or you have any dietary restrictions that limit major food groups.
To help you figure out exactly which vitamins and minerals you should focus on consuming in the name of healthy aging, we spoke with experts for their recommendations.
1. Magnesium
From talking fridges to iPhones, our experts are here to help make the world a little less complicated.
Magnesium is a mineral that provides several key functions in the body. It keeps your muscles strong, regulates blood sugar levels and contributes to heart health. Dr. Jacob Teitelbaum, a board-certified internist in integrative medicine, told us that “magnesium is critical for well over 300 reactions in the body.” He said an unprocessed diet has about 600 mg of magnesium daily, but the average American diet has less than 250 mg of magnesium after processing. For reference, the daily recommended amount of magnesium is 400 to 420 mg per day for adult men and 310 to 320 mg for women, but more is needed for those who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Dr. Teitelbaum warned that the effects of low magnesium may include an increased risk of metabolic syndrome. This can lead to heart attacks, strokes and dementia. You may also feel exhausted or experience widespread muscle pain if you’re not getting enough magnesium.
You can find magnesium in a wide range of ingredients. Dr. Peter Brukner, a specialist sports and exercise physician, said you can find magnesium in nuts, seeds, whole grains and leafy green vegetables like spinach. In extra yummy news, you can also get magnesium from dark chocolate.
“Some older adults or those who take specific medicines (such as diuretics or drugs for acid reflux) may not receive enough magnesium from their diet and might need a supplement,” he said. “However, too much magnesium can cause stomach issues, so be careful.”

2. B vitamins
Laurie Ambrose/Getty Images
You also need a range of B Vitamins, including B12 and folate (also called folic acid), to maintain your health as you age. Vitamin B-12 works with folate to help your body make new cells, including blood cells and nerve cells. While you don’t usually require more B12 as you age, your body cannot absorb it as well when you get older. Dr. Brukner said this is because “stomachs make less acid, and this acid is necessary to take the vitamin from food into the body.”
Dr. Teitelbaum said B vitamins are critical for energy production, and suboptimal levels can affect your health. He warns that B vitamin deficiency has been associated with “a marked increase of dementia (especially folic acid) and increased risk of heart attack and stroke (especially in those with elevated homocysteine levels).” Symptoms of B12 deficiency include weakness or poor balance, loss of appetite and numbness and tingling in the hands and feet.
B12 is found in animal proteins like meat, fish and eggs. Dr. Brukner said that if you don’t eat these foods, you may want to turn to foods like cereals and nutritional yeast with added B12.
“Older people, especially those having certain stomach issues or taking medicine that lowers stomach acid, might need to take a B12 vitamin supplement,” he explained. Amelia Ti, a registered dietitian and diabetes educator in NYC, who is also part of CNET’s medical review board, adds that people taking medicine that blocks B12 absorption, like omeprazole or metformin, may also need a vitamin B12 supplement.
3. Calcium
The National Institute on Aging says that calcium is especially important for older people at risk for bone loss. The Institute recommends 1,000 mg each day for men between the ages of 51 and 70, and 1,200 mg per day for men 71 and older. Women aged 51 and up are recommended to take 1,200 mg each day.
“Calcium is well-known for making bones strong, but it is also crucial for muscles to work right,” Dr. Brukner said. “As people become older, their bodies take in less calcium from food, which can cause bones to become weaker.” You can get calcium naturally from sources like milk, yogurt and cheese. The Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health notes that calcium is also available in kale, salmon, tofu, almonds and spinach.
As for supplements, Dr. Brukner said, “If you are at risk for bone troubles or don’t get enough calcium in your food, taking supplements might be useful. But too much calcium can cause other issues like kidney stones, so talk with your doctor first.”
4. Vitamin D
Malorny/Getty Images
Vitamin D is often called the sunshine vitamin because you typically absorb it through the skin just by being outside. However, during winter months, if you live in a cloudy climate or avoid natural sunlight as you age, you may not get enough. Your body needs vitamin D to properly absorb calcium, making it an important nutrient for bone health.
Dr. Brukner says that in addition to sunshine, you can get vitamin D from fatty fish like salmon and mackerel, fortified milk and cereals. Your doctor may also recommend a supplement if you’re experiencing bone loss or at risk of osteoporosis.
“Omega-3 fatty acids are very good for heart health and can help lessen swelling, which is important for older people,” Dr. Brukner explained. “They are also beneficial for brain well-being and might help guard against memory loss and diseases such as Alzheimer’s.” Ti adds that omega-3s help lessen swelling by reducing inflammation.
Fatty fish like salmon are a good source of omega-3 fatty acids. Dr. Brukner said you can also turn to flaxseeds, chia seeds and walnuts but added a warning: “These give a different type of omega-3 that the body does not use so easily.”
Fish oil and algae oil can serve as supplements, too.
6. Zinc
A 2015 paper, published in Pathobiology of Aging and Age-related Diseases, calls zinc an “essential micronutrient for human health in general, and particularly for the elderly.” The authors say zinc plays “an important role in the aging process” and that zinc deficiency may be connected to several age-related chronic illnesses, which include hardening of the arteries, degenerative diseases of the nervous system, age-related changes to the immune system and cancer.
“When we get older, our immune system becomes weaker, and if we don’t have enough zinc, this can make it even worse,” Dr. Brukner explained.
You can find zinc in shellfish, red meat, poultry, beans, nuts and seeds. Dr. Brukner said oysters are particularly zinc-rich. He added, “Some older people might find zinc supplements helpful, especially if they often get sick or do not eat enough foods high in zinc. But taking too much zinc can cause problems with other minerals in the body, so it’s important to follow advised amounts.”
The bottom line
Eating well can help boost your bones, immune system and more as you age. Along with exercise and other good habits, getting the right minerals and vitamins may improve your health. Try to get ample magnesium, B vitamins, calcium, vitamin D, omega-3s and zinc in your diet each day. Make sure you talk to your doctor before you take any supplements to find out how they may interact with your existing medications and health conditions.
GBP/USD breaks below the 100-day SMA at 1.2975, with further downside possible if it closes below the 1.2900 mark.
Key support lies at 1.2885, with the 200-day SMA at 1.2807 as the next target for sellers.
Resistance emerges at 1.2950/60, with RSI signaling bearish momentum approaching oversold conditions, potentially capping a rebound.
The Pound Sterling dropped to a new two-month low of 1.2885 against the Greenback during the session, as UK Gilts rose sharply following the budget release. However, the GBP/USD has recovered some ground yet is losing over 0.30% and trades at 1.2918.
GBP/USD Price Forecast: Technical outlook
The GBP/USD has broken below the 100-day Simple Moving Average (SMA) at 1.2975, extending its losses below the ascending channel support trendline, paving the way for further downside.
Although the 1.2900 figure was cleared, Pound sellers must achieve a daily close below it. In that outcome, the GBP/USD’s next support would be 1.2885, the day’s low, followed by the 200-day SMA at 1.2807.
Conversely, if buyers keep the GBP/USD afloat above 1.2900, the first resistance would be a previous support trendline at around 1.2950/60 before bulls can test 1.2999.
Oscillators favor further GBP/USD downside, as the Relative Strength Index (RSI) deepened its fall in bearish territory, about to reach oversold conditions.

Pound Sterling FAQs
The Pound Sterling (GBP) is the oldest currency in the world (886 AD) and the official currency of the United Kingdom. It is the fourth most traded unit for foreign exchange (FX) in the world, accounting for 12% of all transactions, averaging $630 billion a day, according to 2022 data. Its key trading pairs are GBP/USD, also known as ‘Cable’, which accounts for 11% of FX, GBP/JPY, or the ‘Dragon’ as it is known by traders (3%), and EUR/GBP (2%). The Pound Sterling is issued by the Bank of England (BoE).
The single most important factor influencing the value of the Pound Sterling is monetary policy decided by the Bank of England. The BoE bases its decisions on whether it has achieved its primary goal of “price stability” – a steady inflation rate of around 2%. Its primary tool for achieving this is the adjustment of interest rates. When inflation is too high, the BoE will try to rein it in by raising interest rates, making it more expensive for people and businesses to access credit. This is generally positive for GBP, as higher interest rates make the UK a more attractive place for global investors to park their money. When inflation falls too low it is a sign economic growth is slowing. In this scenario, the BoE will consider lowering interest rates to cheapen credit so businesses will borrow more to invest in growth-generating projects.
Data releases gauge the health of the economy and can impact the value of the Pound Sterling. Indicators such as GDP, Manufacturing and Services PMIs, and employment can all influence the direction of the GBP. A strong economy is good for Sterling. Not only does it attract more foreign investment but it may encourage the BoE to put up interest rates, which will directly strengthen GBP. Otherwise, if economic data is weak, the Pound Sterling is likely to fall.
Another significant data release for the Pound Sterling is the Trade Balance. This indicator measures the difference between what a country earns from its exports and what it spends on imports over a given period. If a country produces highly sought-after exports, its currency will benefit purely from the extra demand created from foreign buyers seeking to purchase these goods. Therefore, a positive net Trade Balance strengthens a currency and vice versa for a negative balance.

A correction has arrived on the crypto market, according to CoinStats.
On the hourly chart, the price of XRP is declining after a breakout of the support of $0.5163. If the daily bar closes far from that mark, the drop is likely to continue to the $0.50 area.
From the midterm point of view, it is too early to make any distant predictions. However, if the drop of XRP continues from the current prices, traders may witness a test of $0.48.
I was in the produce aisle of the Winn-Dixie when a grown man coughed on me. Loudly.
I froze — a ripened tomato in my hand. I felt the weight of it and noted the subtle spray of the cough on its bright red skin.
This was no accident. I’d seen that man moments earlier change direction and make a beeline for me. As I stood there seething, I reminded myself to breathe. Sadly, this wasn’t the first time a random person saw me wearing a mask in public and coughed in my direction. But that didn’t mean I knew how to act when it happened.
In my fantasy, I take the tomato and throw it at him. As he turns, I tell him I have breast cancer and a compromised immune system. I watch his maskless face fall. “Metastatic breast cancer!” I add. And then I scoff. As if he knows what that means.
But the moment had passed. I took the spitty tomato up to the counter and told them to throw it away. “You don’t want anyone to take that home,” I said.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer in December 2019. I found the lump myself and like anyone in that position, I’d hoped I caught it early. My oncologist and surgeon said I did — the cancer was stage 2 and slow-growing. They recommended I have a double mastectomy to remove the tumors — and all my breast tissue — and put this whole thing behind me. Even better: I wouldn’t need chemotherapy or radiation.
Unfortunately, my bones were keeping a secret from me. The lymph nodes that were removed during the surgery showed that the cancer was more aggressive than previously thought. Follow-up scans confirmed the worst: The breast cancer had moved to my bones. There were lesions on my spine and hip. I didn’t have stage 2 breast cancer. I had stage 4.
When they told me the news, I instinctively put my hands on my stomach. I felt like I had been sucker punched. I struggled to breathe — stunned by the betrayal coming from inside my own body. And then my brain pretty much went on autopilot because, well, there’s not much you can do when you’re recovering from a double mastectomy and preparing for the unknown.
By March 2020, I was still healing but moving forward with my new treatment plan that included a lot of needles and pills and tests and scans for the foreseeable future. My family, especially my sister, helped me schedule all the things and lifted me up when I was down.
Then Covid hit and the whole world shut down.
My first thought: Who gets diagnosed with terminal cancer during a pandemic? I would have laughed if it weren’t so ridiculous. And utterly terrifying. Suddenly I was quarantined, alone and on the list of high-risk people up next to die from a virus none of us could see and had never seen before.
The irony was that I still had to go to the hospital for treatment, which meant I could be exposed to the virus at any time.
I’d started holding my breath for as long as I could under my mask, hoping every little bit helped against the invisible threat lurking inside the very place that was keeping me alive.
Still masking in public, 2024
But in October, yet again, I discovered the threat was coming from inside the house. I was diagnosed with cutaneous T-cell lymphoma on the bottom of my foot. Of all places! And it was a rare type of lymphoma. My first thought: Who gets diagnosed with two cancers during a pandemic?
The lymphoma really solidified how spectacularly crappy my immune system is. My white blood cells — the ones that help fight infection — were low because of treatment, but looking back, I’d always had a hard time getting over an illness or healing from a wound. I once had poison ivy for six weeks. I didn’t want to think about what would happen if I got Covid.
So, when the restrictions were lifted and the pandemic was “over,” I kept living my new normal as if nothing changed. I avoided crowded areas. I wore my mask in public. And I got the vaccine as soon as I could. Even though it doesn’t fight infection entirely, every bit helps.
My life today is pretty much the same as it was at the height of the pandemic. My trips out in the world have a mission-like precision: Mask up, get in, get out, exhale. I avoid doing things indoors as much as possible and, unfortunately, that means missing out on a lot of events and opportunities. And I know there are people who think my response is an overreaction.
I’ve also had to learn that there’s a tipping point where people are only going to accommodate your needs for so long — if at all. “There are just … so many of us. And so few of you,” someone said to me, wearily. I’m so sorry to tell you that this just isn’t true. About 7 million people in the United States are immunocompromised and a lot of us are still trying our best not to get deathly ill from Covid.
So I still wear my N95s. I avoid crowded indoor spaces. I watch the surges come and go. I’ve watched some people fade out of my life and others advocate for me with fierce kindness. I’ve also gotten to know the pleasure of my own company very well, and I have to say: If you don’t have the patience to make room for me, you are really missing out. (I’m kind of hilarious.)
I understand that Covid isn’t even a thought for some people anymore, but it’s still a very real threat to me. Because I’m immunocompromised, there’s no telling how sick it could make me. And, I no longer trust my body to protect me because it’s failed me in such a spectacular way. So I have to do everything I can to not get seriously sick — or even die.
But there are days when I wonder if maybe I am being ridiculous. Maybe I should go to that indoor concert or into the grocery store without my mask. But then I remind myself that I’m living with two cancers and I’ve been through a pandemic. I don’t know what the future will bring, but I’ve made it this far by trusting my gut. I’m not going to stop now.

Solana trades broadly unchanged on Thursday, having hit a low of $173 earlier in the day.
The DEX volume in the Solana ecosystem has dropped significantly, suggesting less activity.
SOL risks a drop to support at $167 if a correction ensues.
Solana (SOL) price is nearly unchanged on Thursday after declining on Wednesday, putting an end to a four-day streak of gains. The altcoin rallied alongside Bitcoin (BTC) as the largest cryptocurrency chased its previous all-time high of $73,777. Post the correction, the outlook for Solana turns bleak and the altcoin could extend losses and sweep liquidity at the $167 support level, technical and on-chain indicators show.
Solana DEX volume drops sharply, likely driver of losses
Solana DEX volume represents the total volume traded across decentralized exchanges in the SOL ecosystem. DEX volume observed a significant decline from $13.3 billion in the week starting October 21 to $1.8 billion in the week starting October 28, according to Dune Analytics data.
Typically, a decline in DEX volume is indicative of either traders losing interest in the ecosystem or a loss in demand. This could negatively impact the token’s price as the chain’s utility drops.
Even as DEX volume declines, when compared to other blockchains, Solana leads, followed closely by its competitor Ethereum, according to data from Dune Analytics.

Solana Price Forecast: SOL could dip nearly 5%
Solana has been in an upward trend since October 3, forming higher highs and higher lows, as seen in the 8-hour price chart below. While the uptrend looks firm, the recent correction casts some doubts over its continuity as prices have failed to produce a higher high since the October 29 peak.
The momentum indicator Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) signals a potential decline in SOL price. The MACD line (blue) has recently crossed below the signal line (red) above the zero line, providing a sell signal. Moreover, red histogram bars under the neutral line are getting longer, showing underlying negative momentum.
Meanwhile, the RSI reads 54 – slightly above the neutral level – giving little insight into the underlying weakness or strength of the trend. If a correction unfolds, Solana could find first support at $167.42, a level that aligns with the 10-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA) and the upper boundary of the Fair Value Gap (FVG). This would mark a nearly 5% decline in Solana’s price from the current level.
SOL/USDT 8-hour price chart
If Solana sees a daily candlestick close above $180, a psychologically important level for the altcoin, it could invalidate the bearish thesis. In this case, SOL could test the resistance at the October 29 high of $183.
