Taste of Spring – A Premium Tea Tasting
Step into the heart of spring with a guided tasting of premium Chinese teas, featuring fresh 2025 Pre-Qing Ming green teas and a rare, expressive oolong. This seasonal tasting invites you to experience the vibrant energy and delicate nuance of early spring harvests—known for their tenderness, aroma, and purity.
What we’ll taste:
Dong Shan Bi Luo Chun (Pre-Qing Ming 2025) – A prized green tea from the misty hills near Lake Tai. Its fine, hand-rolled leaves yield a floral, sweet liquor with a clean, lingering finish. Revered for over a thousand years and famously known in ancient times as the “tea so fragrant it frightens people” (吓煞人香)
Da Fo Long Jing (Pre-Qing Ming 2025) – A fresh and elegant green tea from the Da Fo Mountains in Zhejiang, with toasty chestnut notes and an orchid-like aroma.
Old Bush Phoenix Dancong – Though not a spring tea, this high-mountain oolong from Guangdong is a masterwork in complexity. Sourced from old tea trees, it features a richly layered profile with distinctive floral notes, long-lasting sweetness, and remarkable depth.
All teas are single-origin, hand-picked, and of exceptional quality, selected to showcase the best of their kind.
Space is limited for each session.Open to both seasoned tea drinkers and curious newcomers.
