XRP Price Prediction: What Could Drive The Next Breakout?
Whenever traders talk about an XRP Price Prediction they are really asking whether this market can transition from choppy swings into a more orderly trend where liquidity, depth and participation slowly improve, something you can monitor in live dashboards such as https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/xrp/ while spot volume, volatility and order book behavior evolve over time.
Alongside XRP, attention often rotates into smaller narratives like Pepenode (PEPENODE) (https://pepenode.io/), which can pull pockets of liquidity away from majors and briefly amplify volatility around any XRP Price Prediction when speculative flows sprint into fresh themes before rotating back into larger caps.
Building A Playbook For Your XRP Price Prediction
A simple way to structure an XRP Price Prediction is to map three paths. In a base case, price grinds higher with a staircase of higher lows as fiat on and off ramps improve, spreads tighten and large dips get bought quickly rather than turning into long downtrends that shake out patient holders.
In a bullish scenario, XRP pushes through crowded resistance on rising spot participation, healthier derivatives positioning and clear weekly closes above former supply. A more cautious path assumes the range holds if liquidity thins or macro appetite cools, which argues for smaller positions, clearer invalidation levels and patience instead of forcing entries into every bounce.
Market Clues That Support A Positive Path
Signals that often support a constructive XRP Price Prediction include strong closes after pullbacks, rising open interest that is not paired with extreme funding, and buying that shows up on several major exchanges at once rather than a single venue.
When XRP is actually used in real payment flows and regulators provide clearer guidelines, short bursts of hype are more likely to evolve into steadier demand that protects key support zones. As confidence in the framework grows, larger participants are more willing to commit capital for longer periods instead of treating every move as a short term trade.
On the micro side, many traders track depth, spreads and liquidation clusters through analytics and price aggregators to see whether fresh breakouts are supported by broad demand or mostly by overleveraged positioning that can unwind quickly if price stalls near resistance. This granular view of order flow and liquidity helps them judge whether momentum is sustainable or likely to fade before they commit larger size.
Pepenode (PEPENODE) And Rotation Phases
Large caps such as XRP usually anchor the cycle, yet during aggressive risk on phases capital can rotate quickly into agile narratives like Pepenode (PEPENODE) (https://pepenode.io/). Traders looking at any XRP Price Prediction will often watch how long these rotation windows last, since sharp rallies in smaller caps can signal rising risk appetite, but they can also drain short term liquidity from majors while the crowd chases faster moves.
If the Pepenode team communicates clearly, ships updates and aligns incentives with early supporters, sentiment can stay constructive even when broader markets cool, although that comes with higher variance. In those periods, flexible sizing, predefined invalidation and partial profit taking are usually more important than guessing the exact top of any individual leg.
Key Pepenode Metrics To Monitor
Token mechanics that explain circulating supply, liquidity arrangements and any schedule for future unlocks.
Visible product, partnership or community milestones instead of vague roadmap promises that never land.
Orderly pullbacks with rising spot participation rather than vertical spikes that fully retrace in a few sessions.
Consistent communication that lets holders verify what was shipped, how funds are used and which metrics matter.
Risk Tactics Around Any XRP Price Prediction
No matter how confident you are in an XRP Price Prediction, risk should come first, which usually means defining invalidation before entry, scaling size to volatility and avoiding the habit of chasing candles that have already stretched far above recent averages just because social feeds are suddenly louder.
Many traders keep a written plan that compares XRP behavior with other majors, rotation plays like Pepenode (PEPENODE) (https://pepenode.io/) and broader crypto indices while checking simple references on third party market dashboards to track relative strength. Let actual price action confirm the thesis, respect your levels even when emotions push the other way and assume volatility will test your discipline rather than gifting perfect entries.

What do you think of when you hear the words “personal care”?
Facials? Manicures? Getting rogue hairs plucked or pulled in some (brutal) fashion?
For many of us, personal care routines involve a glam group of products, potions and people to achieve that “I woke up like this” glow.
But these days personal care is evolving past beauty and hygiene to include overall health and well-being.
A recent global trends report of more than 10,000 people found 3 out of 4 people consider proactive measures for healthy aging and long-term health as part of their personal care routine.
So, anything from taking supplements to wearing sunscreen are part of the shift in daily practices focused on prevention and feeling good — not just looking good.
This shift toward making conscious decisions for better health is happening across generations.
Here’s a look at some key results from the global survey and how personal care routines can impact quality of life.
Routines for real impact
Personal care can mean different things to different people, but a successful routine can be life-changing.
About 9 out of 10 people surveyed said their personal care routines positively impacted their mental health, notably self-esteem and confidence.
Also good news: You don’t have to spend a ton of time to get the possible benefits of a personal care routine.
A majority of the survey participants who said their personal care routine had a high impact on their overall health spent less than 30 minutes a day on their routine. And nearly half of the people who spent more than 15 minutes on their routine rated their health as “good.”
That said, given the fact that personal care routines are important, giving up on a routine can have a negative impact on mental health. Participants reported feeling a range of emotions — disappointment, guilt, anxiety — and body image issues when not keeping up with their routines.
Personal care priorities by generation
It’s probably no surprise that people in different generations have different thoughts about personal care routines.
The survey included a wide range of ages: Generation Z (ages 13–28), millennials (29–44), Gen X (45–60) and boomers (61–79).
Overall, participants across all generations agreed that improving or maintaining health and well-being was the top benefit of having a personal routine. But there were interesting differences to note between younger and older generations.
Some notable differences included:
A majority of boomers said their personal care routines were focused on health — not appearance — and Gen Z placed more importance on routines involving appearance
Gen Z and millennials were more focused on preventing signs of aging than Gen X
Gen Z and millennials were more likely than older generations to recognize the link between personal care routines and well-being
Gen Z and millennials expressed more regret than older generations for not starting a personal care routine earlier in their lives
Gen Z and millennials were more likely to have targeted products compared to older generations
Gen Z turned to social channels more than older generations
Differences aside, personal care routines were popular across the board. In fact, about 4 out of 10 people were looking to dedicate more time to their personal care routines in the next year.
Despite the popularity of social media, only about 4 out of 10 people said they trust advice from influencers. In fact, more than 6 out 10 people said they were concerned about taking guidance from someone online who wasn’t an expert and worried about getting counterfeit products online.
Artificial intelligence (AI), however, is becoming a go-to for recommendations based on routines, products and other ways to boost personal care routines. But in spite of trusting AI, family is still the top motivator for health routines for all generations
But, when it comes to who people trust the most for advice about personal care routines? Participants across all generations said healthcare providers (HCPs) were the number one trusted source when making decisions regarding personal care routines. And that’s great news.
Survey says: Personal care routines rule
There are countless influencers and “get ready with me” tutorials on social media, but the truth is, personal care routines don’t have to be fancy or a big production. Maintaining a simple routine can have a big impact on your health and emotional well-being. A little self-care can go a long way.

The heat map shows percentage changes of major currencies against each other. The base currency is picked from the left column, while the quote currency is picked from the top row. For example, if you pick the Euro from the left column and move along the horizontal line to the US Dollar, the percentage change displayed in the box will represent EUR (base)/USD (quote).
Following the Federal Reserve’s (Fed) policy decisions and Chairman Jerome Powell’s cautious comments on policy-easing, several Fed officials delivered hawkish remarks and helped the US Dollar (USD) preserve its strength heading into the weekend.
Kansas City Fed President Jeffrey Schmid explained that he voted to keep the policy rate unchanged at the October meeting because “the labor market is largely in balance, the economy shows continued momentum, and inflation remains too high.” Dallas Fed President Lorie Logan said that she would find it difficult to cut rates again in December, unless there is clear evidence of a faster drop in inflation or a rapid cooling in the labor market. Finally, Cleveland Fed President Beth Hammack argued that they need to main monetary restriction for inflation to continue to come down.
In the second half of the day, the US economic calendar will feature the Institute for Supply Management’s (ISM) Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) data for October. In case the headline PMI recovers above 50 and shows a return to expansion in the manufacturing sector’s business activity, the USD could continue to outperform its rivals in the second half of the day.
If the headline PMI arrives near the market expectation of 49.2, investors could react to the changes in the Employment Index of the survey. A reading below September’s 45.3 could hurt the USD in the near term, while a noticeable recovery toward 50 could have the opposite impact on the currency’s performance.
EUR/USD Technical Analysis
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) indicator remains below 40, suggesting that the bearish bias remains intact. Unless EUR/USD manages to reclaim 1.1550 (static level, former support), technical sellers could remain interested.
On the downside, 1.1500 (Fibonacci 78.6% retracement of the latest uptrend) could be seen as the next support level ahead of 1.1450 (static level) and 1.1400 (static level, beginning point of the uptrend). Looking north, resistance levels could be spotted 1.1550 (static level), 1.1615 (20-day Simple Moving Average (SMA)) and 1.1660 (100-day SMA).
Euro FAQs
The Euro is the currency for the 20 European Union countries that belong to the Eurozone. It is the second most heavily traded currency in the world behind the US Dollar. In 2022, it accounted for 31% of all foreign exchange transactions, with an average daily turnover of over $2.2 trillion a day.
EUR/USD is the most heavily traded currency pair in the world, accounting for an estimated 30% off all transactions, followed by EUR/JPY (4%), EUR/GBP (3%) and EUR/AUD (2%).
The European Central Bank (ECB) in Frankfurt, Germany, is the reserve bank for the Eurozone. The ECB sets interest rates and manages monetary policy.
The ECB’s primary mandate is to maintain price stability, which means either controlling inflation or stimulating growth. Its primary tool is the raising or lowering of interest rates. Relatively high interest rates – or the expectation of higher rates – will usually benefit the Euro and vice versa.
The ECB Governing Council makes monetary policy decisions at meetings held eight times a year. Decisions are made by heads of the Eurozone national banks and six permanent members, including the President of the ECB, Christine Lagarde.
Eurozone inflation data, measured by the Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices (HICP), is an important econometric for the Euro. If inflation rises more than expected, especially if above the ECB’s 2% target, it obliges the ECB to raise interest rates to bring it back under control.
Relatively high interest rates compared to its counterparts will usually benefit the Euro, as it makes the region more attractive as a place for global investors to park their money.
Data releases gauge the health of the economy and can impact on the Euro. Indicators such as GDP, Manufacturing and Services PMIs, employment, and consumer sentiment surveys can all influence the direction of the single currency.
A strong economy is good for the Euro. Not only does it attract more foreign investment but it may encourage the ECB to put up interest rates, which will directly strengthen the Euro. Otherwise, if economic data is weak, the Euro is likely to fall.
Economic data for the four largest economies in the euro area (Germany, France, Italy and Spain) are especially significant, as they account for 75% of the Eurozone’s economy.
Another significant data release for the Euro is the Trade Balance. This indicator measures the difference between what a country earns from its exports and what it spends on imports over a given period.
If a country produces highly sought after exports then its currency will gain in value purely from the extra demand created from foreign buyers seeking to purchase these goods. Therefore, a positive net Trade Balance strengthens a currency and vice versa for a negative balance.
If you’ve been feeling unfocused, forgetful, or mentally drained, you might be experiencing brain fog—a cluster of symptoms like fatigue, confusion, and difficulty concentrating that can disrupt daily life.
“Brain fog, which describes symptoms like dissociation, fatigue, forgetfulness, and excessive cognitive effort, is a complex and often frustrating condition that can stem from many factors, many of which uniquely affect women,” says Jillian Kubala, MS, RD, a dietitian for Bulletproof.
Hormonal shifts, nutrient deficiencies, poor sleep, stress, and lifestyle factors can all play a role. As Barbie Boules, RDN (aka The Cognition Dietitian) explains, “For most women, it’s not one single cause—it’s a combination of things.” The good news? With the right nutrition, sleep, and self-care habits, it’s possible to regain clarity and focus.
Nutrition is key for optimal brain health and cognitive function.

Unpacking the causes of brain fog
“There are several reasons women experience what’s casually called “brain fog” and clinically referred to as subjective cognitive fatigue,” says Boules.
Hormonal fluctuations, diet, sleep issues, mental health issues, underlying health conditions, lack of exercise and external factors like alcohol, medication and recreational drugs are all potential causes. In many cases, it’s a combination of multiple factors resulting in someone’s brain fog symptoms.
Hormonal fluctuations are a common factor. “Changes inestrogen and progesterone levels throughout the menstrual cycle, during pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, and menopause can impact neurotransmitter activity, particularly serotonin and dopamine, which influence mood, focus, and cognition,” explains Kubala. An area that’s been getting a lot more attention in recent years is perimenopause. “During perimenopause, estrogen decline adds a unique layer. Brain imaging studies show that glucose metabolism in the brain decreases as estrogen falls, which can directly translate to fogginess and lapses in concentration,” Boules adds.
Nutrition can often play a bigger part than people realize. Kubala says, “Brain fog may result from undereating, having imbalanced meals or eating a diet low in calories, protein or key micronutrients likeiron, fats andB12, which are allessential for brain function.” For example, iron deficiency anemia, she explains, which is more common in women due to menstruation, “is strongly associated with fatigue, poor concentration, and mental fogginess, which is often described as brain fog.”
Sleep is another major issue, says Boules. “Without a consistent 7–9 hours per night, the brain cannot consolidate memories, regulate emotions, or clear metabolic waste. Over time, chronic short sleep (less than 7 hours a night) is associated with a higher risk of dementia.”
Mental health though often overlooked, can play a huge part in brain fog. “Stress, anxiety, and depression disrupt attention and working memory, often leaving women feeling mentally slowed or detached,” explains Boules.
Lack of exercise can also be a culprit. “Movement is not optional; the human body and brain are built to require it.” Aside from boosting mood and brain function in the short term, exercise has also been found to be protective in the long term as well. “The data are compelling. Regular physical activity lowers all-cause mortality by roughly 30–35%. For dementia specifically, active individuals have up to a 45% lower risk compared with those who are sedentary. Benefits span aerobic exercise, resistance training, and activities that challenge balance and coordination.” Even walking has been shown to have a meaningful impact. “The effect is dose-responsive: more activity confers more benefit, but the greatest gains occur when someone moves from being inactive to moderately active.”
Underlying health conditions can also contribute, adds Kubala. “Several health conditions, includinghypothyroidism, which is more common in women, can lead to persistent cognitive symptoms, like brain fog and mood changes if left undiagnosed or improperly managed.”
“Finally,” says Boules, “it’s essential to consider external contributors such as medications, alcohol, or recreational drug use, all of which can impair cognition.”

Feed your focus: nutrients that support mental clarity
While nutrition is one of several factors and individual dietary needs can vary, it is a very important piece of the picture. In general, following a well-balanced diet is a good first line of defense. There’s no single nutrient that can “fix” brain fog, says Kubala, but there are certain nutrients that are especially important for supporting brain health and cognitive function.
“It’s always best to aim to get these nutrients from foods, and supplement when gaps exist in your diet,” says Boules. Here are some you want to make sure you’re getting enough of:
● Iron: “Low iron levels, which is especially common in women, can reduce oxygen delivery to the brain and impact focus and energy levels,” explains Kubala. “Even mild iron deficiency is associated with cognitive impairments.”
● B-Vitamins: B vitamins – especially folate, B6, and B12 – are essential for methylation and homocysteine regulation, both of which influence cognitive function, says Boules.
● Omega-3 fatty acids: “Omega-3s (especially DHA) support brain cell structure and communication,” says Kubala. “Studies suggest that supplementing with DHA and EPA may improve memory and mood.” Regularly including food sources like oily fish (high in DHA and EPA) and plant -based sources like chia seeds, ground flax and walnuts (which contain another form called ALA, is recommended.
● Choline: Choline is an essential nutrient that’s a precursor tpacetylcholine, a neurotransmitter that’s crucial for memory, attention and cognitive signaling. It also supports neural cell membrane integrity, which may help reduce brain fog.
● Vitamin D: While mostly known for its bone health and immune system roles, Vitamin D is also involved in brain health via modulating neurotrophic factors (like BDNF), neuroprotection, gene expression and neurotransmitter synthesis. Low levels have been associated with poorer executive function, slower processing speed and increased risk of cognitive impairment.
● Antioxidants: “Antioxidants such as vitamin E and polyphenols protect against oxidative stress,” explains Boules, which can contribute to compromised brain cell structure and function.
● Other key nutrients: “Minerals like magnesium and zinc play roles in neurotransmission and energy metabolism,” says Boules, so make sure to include food sources. Magnesium can be found in foods like leafy greens, nuts and seeds, TK , and chocolate. Zinc is available in foods like shellfish, pork, and pumpkin seeds.
“It’s also essential to follow a well-balanced diet that includes enough calories, protein, complex carbs, healthy fats, and key micronutrients,” says Kubala.
“When it comes to brain fog in the moment,” adds Boules, “it is less about single nutrients and more about overall dietary patterns that promote nutrient density and metabolic stability. A way of eating that emphasizes vegetables, fruits, legumes, whole grains, nuts, seeds, fish, and olive oil provides steady fuel and reduces inflammation.”
Specific diets that have been consistently linked with slower cognitive decline and dementia risk include the MIND and Mediterranean. “The goal is not to ‘chase’ individual nutrients,” Boules says, “but to create a daily pattern that consistently supports brain function.”
Omega-3 fatty acids found in fish and antioxidant-rich colorful produce are just a few foods shown to be beneficial for brain function.

The rise of brain-focused snacks and supplements
The functional snack market has also zeroed in on brain health, with protein bars such as MOSH and IQBAR including ingredients specifically geared towards boosting brain health and function. MOSH, for example, includes omega-3s, vitamins B12 and D3 and lion’s mane mushroom as well as Cognizin® Citicoline, a supplement form of a nutrient that’s important for supporting focus, memory, and attention in healthy adults.
Sephora Noormand, Head of Brand Marketing at MOSH, says that creators Maria Shriver and Patrick Schwartzenager worked closely with health experts in the field to craft the perfect product. “ They worked alongside a team of world-class brain health experts and functional nutritionists for over a year-and-a-half, tweaking and perfecting the recipe. From the very beginning, they were adamant that every single ingredient needed to tie back to brain health. This wasn’t just about creating another protein bar, it was about developing a product that could genuinely support cognitive wellness and that they’d actually want to eat themselves every day.”
While MOSH bars have been available since 2021, the iteration featuring Cognizin launched in June of 2024. “The original formulation featured MOSH’s Signature Brain Blend – lion’s mane, ashwagandha, omega-3s, and vitamins B12 and D3,” says Noorman. “We also kept calories and sugar low and made sure to include plenty of fiber because of the gut-brain axis connection. The goal was to make brain health nutrition as simple as grabbing a protein bar, rather than requiring multiple supplements or complex routines.”
IQ BAR founder Will Nitze turned his own challenges with mental fatigue and headaches into a thoughtfully designed line of products geared towards people looking to boost mental energy and clarity.
“I was eating a standard American diet that was high in simple carbs and low in fiber and low in fat and low in protein. Just by fixing my macronutritional intake to be higher in healthy fats, protein, and fiber and cutting out simple carbs I just got my blood sugar down and was mentally crashing less. That was the first major unlock.” As he explored the micronutrients that are important for supporting brain function, he began making a list of specific ones to include in a bar. “My process involved looking at what micronutrients have a wealth of research showing that they support brain function by growing new neurons, staving off dementia, promoting cognitive longevity. I made a big list of different nutrients and took a very quantitative approach to it. It was all in one spreadsheet, so I took a look at which foods had the highest content of these nutrients and created a long list of foods richest in these things. And then the question was, ‘How can I make a bar out of this?’”
It took many interactions but IQBAR now offers a variety of flavors of their bars, which boast ingredients like lion’s mane, flavonoids, vitamin E and other targeted ingredients as well as electrolyte powders and instant coffee that also have supportive micronutrients included.
The functional snack world has embraced brain health, with products featuring research-backed ingredients shown to play a role in supporting cognitive function.

When to ask for help
Kubala says, “If you’re dealing with significant brain fog or any ongoing symptoms, it’s important to see a trusted healthcare provider. They can help identify or rule out any underlying health issues and guide you toward the right treatment or support.”
This might look like drawing labs to assess whether hormone shifts or nutrient deficiencies are playing a part, working with a dietitian to establish supportive eating habits, consulting with a sleep expert to improve sleep quality or exploring mental health resources for stress management, just to name a few things. You don’t have to struggle alone.
Boules adds, “Protecting brain health requires a multifaceted approach: nutrient-dense eating, daily movement, restorative sleep, and effective stress management. Each factor works synergistically, meaning that steady improvements across all areas deliver far greater impact than focusing on any single one. The message is hopeful: every healthy choice today builds a stronger, more resilient brain for the future.”
Despite the generally weak momentum in the crypto market, Solana is still holding its ground and could break out in the coming weeks. The Solana price is hovering around $185.2, which is 1.32% lower than the day before, indicating the battle between buyers and sellers is in full swing.
While Solana’s value depends on the broader crypto market, the blockchain has become the go-to solution for DeFi projects due to its fast performance and low fees. The latest price predictions point toward a breakout above $260, which would close the gap between SOL and BNB. However, SOL is not the only crypto capturing investors’ attention in the past months.
Crypto presales like Bitcoin Hyper and Maxi Doge have been the talk of the town throughout 2025, so let’s see what makes them the best cryptos to buy this November.
Solana Price Prediction – SOL Could Rebound To $260 Before 2026
Solana boasts a market capitalization of over $101,4 billion, and a daily trading volume of over $3 billion. It’s currently the sixth-most-valuable crypto on the market and the third-most-traded digital currency, excluding stablecoins. Solana is proving very resilient amid increased selling pressure, and if it holds its current position, SOL could be at the forefront of a broader crypto market recovery.
Technical indicators show that Solana is just below its 200-day EMA, close to $187, signaling a period of increased accumulation. Both the 20-day and 50-day EMAs have been in sight and have served as support and resistance zones over the past few weeks. In case Solana closes above $202 in the next couple of days, it could gather the support it needs for a price breakout.
Sellers have been dominating Solana’s price movements recently, but the current RSI of nearly 48 suggests they are slowly losing momentum to buyers. Everything observed in the past 48 hours points to a price increase in the first week of November. If Solana reaches a value of between $205 and $210, it could extend its bullish run, potentially reaching $260 or higher before NYE.
Long-term Solana price projections suggest steady growth driven by growing crypto adoption, the DeFi sector, NFTs, and other blockchain ecosystems built on the Solana blockchain. Solana has not yet reached its full potential, but it’s steadily closing the gap with BNB.
SOL is one of the best altcoins on the market for long-term growth, but if you’re looking for explosive gains, Bitcoin Hyper and Maxi Doge are the next crypto projects projected to explode. Let’s see why they are getting traction from investors worldwide and why you should add some $HYPER and $MAXI tokens to your portfolio ASAP.

By combining its unique Canonical Bridge with the power of the Solana Virtual Machine, Bitcoin Hyper could redefine Bitcoin trading forever, making it available for the average trader. All transaction fees will be paid in native $HYPER tokens, ensuring strong sustainability and long-term growth potential.
The ongoing $HYPER token presale has raised over $25.5 million already, and is quickly approaching the massive $26 million milestone. If you invest in Bitcoin Hyper today, you can stake your tokens to earn an APY of 46% over the next two years. Visit the official site today and secure your tokens early to get the highest ROI post-launch.
Maxi Doge – Meme Coin Sensation Allowing Investors to Trade With 1000X Leverage
Maxi Doge is another emerging token that could outperform even the most optimistic Solana price predictions in the short term. It’s the newest Doge-inspired meme coin designed to put your trading skills to the ultimate test. By investing in the native $MAXI token, you’ll have the chance to trade digital currencies with 1000X leverage and no stop-loss. Known as one of the riskiest methods of investing, leveraged trading can lead to massive returns if successful.
However, if you make one wrong move, you can lose your entire investment in the blink of an eye.Maxi Doge’s unique proposition has already attracted the support of thousands of investors. The official $MAXI token presale is quickly approaching the $4 million milestone, with the total steadily increasing every day. By investing in Maxi Doge right now, you can stake your tokens to earn 79% in APY, so hurry up and visit the official website to join the earliest investors and maximize profit.
Invest in Bitcoin Hyper and Maxi Doge Today to Maximize Your Profit While SOL Creeps Up on BNB
Solana is still in a favorable position, and buyers are gradually regaining control of SOL prices. Solana price predictions point to a mid-term breakout, with prices reaching between $260 and $300 per token. That way, SOL could push BNB out of the crypto race, replacing it as the 5th-most-valuable digital currency by market cap.
However, if you’re looking to maximize your ROI before 2026, consider investing in Bitcoin Hyper and Maxi Doge. Both of these crypto presales are poised for explosive gains, so visit their official websites and secure your tokens today to maximize ROI.
I met my husband while I was registering for journalism classes at the University of Missouri 50 years ago. Dean was standing in line behind me and asked me out for a beer. I scoffed and said no.
When I got to the registration table, the class I needed was full. Dean stepped up and introduced me to the instructor. It turned out Dean had had dinner with him the night before, and the man had written a book on suburban journalism that included Dean’s father, a publisher of a chain of weekly newspapers in Ohio.
The instructor made room for me in the class, and I wound up going out for that beer.
After we got married, Dean and I realized it would be difficult for us both to stay in journalism. He decided to go into sales, while I pursued editing jobs. We moved seven times for my work, requiring him to find a new job each time. He never minded.
He championed my career, edited my resumes, provided tech support and wore a tux as my plus one to events I attended as an arts editor. He took care of me.
After we retired, he was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer. We were dazed. I had always assumed I would receive the first life-threatening prognosis given my mother’s two bouts with breast cancer before she turned 50 and her eventual death from lymphoma.
There was no history of prostate cancer in Dean’s family. Neither of his parents, who lived to be 89 and 94, died from cancer.
It was my turn to take care of him. I became his nutritionist, personal trainer, cheerleader and sex therapist.
For the first two years, he was prescribed a treatment plan of radiation and androgen deprivation therapy (ADT), which is chemical castration. These drugs eliminate interest in sex as well as the ability to have an erection. For my husband, this was the cruelest part.
He mourned losing his libido. Despite the fact he no longer felt desire, he refused to give up on sex for me. We navigated this by using a calendar where I would draw hearts on days of intimacy. That way he was able to keep track and not let weeks pass. To declare his intent, he bought me a black silk nightgown weeks after his diagnosis.
There were other side effects. During this time, he suffered from mental fog, hot flashes, lost muscle tone, insomnia and weight gain.
I changed our diet to follow cancer nutrition guidelines — plant- and protein-based — and added pilates, yoga, weights and swimming laps to his regular pickleball practice.
To counter the mental fatigue, I write a to-do list daily, and created a check system to use before he leaves the house. Does he have his phone, keys, hat, water bottle, wallet?
Now in year four, Dean has castrate-resistant prostate cancer, meaning the basic drugs no longer work. He’s had two rounds of targeted radiation treatment, but more spots keep popping up. He’s undergoing chemo, which brings a whole new set of woes. He fights dizziness, increasing fatigue and appetite changes.
He stopped enjoying coffee or his cocktail of choice, an Old Fashioned. He needs to be reminded to drink water. He resists greens, which I put in his morning smoothie.
We program his daily naps. I lie down next to him, face-to-face, holding his hand until he falls into a deep sleep.
2025
A surprising consequence of the disease has been ghosting. While cancer isn’t contagious, a few family members and long-time friends have disappeared from our lives.
Fortunately, we found community and counseling at Wellness House, a cancer support center that offers hundreds of programs for free. Dean attends a prostate cancer support group, where he finds comfort in conversations with peers. He also goes to a general cancer group and receives individual counseling from an empathetic clinical psychologist there.
I frequent a cancer caregiver support group where I sometimes find stories sadder than mine.
The community we’ve found has helped us deal with the anxiety before PSA tests, PSMA-PET scans and messages on MyChart. We now understand we no longer live in the land of what ifs. We are planning for what’s next.
I put up two whiteboards in our house. One tracks what must be done: Revise the will, register the vehicles in both our names, simplify finances, write down passwords and have “The Will” discussion with our two adult children.
The other board is titled “Living Our Best Lives.” We may be running out of tomorrows, but we still have adventures to take.
We plan in quarterly increments: An October European trip to experience three of the world’s great opera houses, walking Aruba beaches in December, rally driving school for Dean in June, celebrating our daughter’s 40th birthday in Hawaii in December 2026 and making it to our 50th wedding anniversary May 2027.
But cancer takes no vacation in your mind. I wake up with a stomachache of despair and anticipatory grief. What will it be like to live without my best friend, the man I’ve cocooned with for 2/3 of my life?
We keep busy so we have little time to wallow. Even as we pass the tissues, we make conscious decisions to find pleasure and laughter. Sometimes we have a no-cancer-talk day.
Dean is happiest exercising with his pickleball gang, playing online poker with his brother-in-law and spending time with our grandchildren. He hopes to leave them with many memories.
Dean calls himself the luckiest unlucky guy around. He is serene with his choices. He loves and has been loved deeply.
We have found that even when there is no light at the end of the tunnel, joy can still be found along the way. It just takes resolve to look for it.

Creatine supplements may slightly affect blood pressure, but research is mixed—some studies show small reductions, while others find no change or slight increases.
Healthy adults typically tolerate moderate creatine use well, though people with hypertension or kidney disease may face higher risks.
Standard daily doses of 3 to 5 grams are considered safe, while higher doses offer no added benefit and can increase side effects.
Creatine supplements, typically used to boost athletic performance, may affect blood pressure in certain people. Even so, study results are mixed, with some suggesting that creatine can help lower blood pressure, while others have found that it has no effect or may even raise blood pressure.
How Creatine and Blood Pressure Are Linked
Although studies suggest that creatine supplements may affect blood pressure, the findings are often contradictory. In some groups, creatinine may have a beneficial effect, lowering systolic (upper) and/or diastolic (lower) blood pressure. In others, it may have no effect or cause blood pressure to rise.
Either way, the effect of creatine on blood pressure is generally minimal but may still warrant attention in some people.
Studies Showing Potential Benefits
Creatine supplements may have a positive effect on blood pressure due to their antioxidant effects. By reducing oxidative stress, the size, flexibility, and reactivity of blood vessels may increase, modestly lowering blood pressure.
The antioxidative effects may reduce arterial stiffness associated with atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries), a leading cause of hypertension in adults.
Among the findings:
Healthy, young males: A 2014 study from Brazil reported that physically active, young men (median age 28) experienced a slight drop in blood pressure after taking 20 grams of creatine for seven days. This effect was attributed to increased vascular density and reactivity.
Older adults: A 2024 study reported that older males (median age 71) given a daily, 20-gram dose of creatine experienced a slight decrease in systolic blood pressure, whereas those given a sham drug showed no change. Even so, the drop was considered statistically irrelevant.
Studies Showing No Effect
The current body of research suggests that creatine supplements are generally safe in healthy adults, with little, if any, impact on blood pressure.
Among the available research:
Bodybuilders: A 2017 study found that the long-term use of creatine supplements in bodybuilders (up to 15 grams daily) increased the resting heart rate by around 14% compared to those who didn’t use supplements, but had no impact on blood pressure.
Athletes: A 2018 study found that creatine supplements had no effect on blood pressure among 45 young adults who engaged in high-intensity resistance training. There was also no evidence of decreased vascular stiffness or increased vascular reactivity.
Studies Showing Potential Harm
In some people, creatine supplements might end up increasing blood pressure, particularly those with pre-existing hypertension (high blood pressure) or kidney disease.
This is because high levels of ATP can overstimulate the sympathetic nervous system, causing the narrowing of blood vessels (vasoconstriction) and an associated increase in blood pressure.
Research shows:
Adult males: A seven-year study involving 3,135 adults (median age 49) found that persistently high creatine levels increased the risk of hypertension by 26% in males, but did not increase the risk in females.
People with hypertension: A 2019 review of studies reported that persistently high creatine levels increase the risk of hypertension and are also linked to a four-fold increased risk of treatment failure for people on antihypertensive therapy.
What Is Creatine Used For?
Creatine is a substance composed of amino acids that the body converts into the energy source adenosine triphosphate (ATP). Among ATP’s functions, it fuels muscle contraction and can also act on the sympathetic nervous system, a part of the nervous system that helps regulate blood pressure.
About half the creatine in your body is produced by the liver, kidneys, and pancreas, while the other half is derived from foods you eat, particularly red meat, shellfish, and dairy.
Creatine supplements are a synthetic form of creatine produced in a lab. They provide a concentrated dose far above the 1 gram your body naturally produces each day.
Creatine monohydrate, the most common creatine supplement sold in the U.S., is generally regarded as safe for healthy adults by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
There are no established guidelines for the appropriate use of creatine supplements, but daily doses between 3 and 5 grams are generally recommended.
Loading up on a higher dose has not been shown to be any more effective over the long term than taking a standard 3- to 5-gram dose. Doing so simply saturates your muscles with creatine faster, but can also lead to side effects like bloating, stomach upset, weight gain, and diarrhea.
Who Shouldn’t Use Creatine Supplements?
In certain groups, creatine should be avoided or used with extreme caution, including people with:
Hypertension: High creatine use can make existing hypertension harder to treat. It can also put strain on the kidneys, which contributes to hypertension.
Bipolar disorder: In addition to muscles, some creatine is absorbed by the brain. While this effect may be beneficial in some people, improving attention and memory, it can trigger a manic episode in people with bipolar depression.
Due to the lack of safety research, creatine should not be used in children or adolescents under 18 or in people who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

BTC/USD prediction: Bitcoin continues to captivate attention as it navigates through a rapidly evolving financial landscape.
Bitcoin price (BTC/USD) Prediction: With its unique characteristics and the broader shifts in markets and technology, many are curious about where its value might stand as 2025 draws to a close. While exact figures are elusive, exploring the key factors shaping Bitcoin’s future can provide insight into potential trajectories.
The Current Landscape of Bitcoin Bitcoin operates within a dynamic environment influenced by regulatory developments, technological progress, market sentiment, and macroeconomic trends. It remains a prominent digital asset with a growing ecosystem, yet it also faces challenges such as regulatory scrutiny and competition from other digital currencies and blockchain projects. Understanding these forces is essential to considering what the end of 2025 might hold.
Regulatory Environment and Its Impact One of the defining elements of Bitcoin’s future is the evolving regulatory framework worldwide. Governments and financial authorities continue to refine their approaches to cryptocurrencies, balancing innovation with concerns around security, fraud, and market integrity. The direction regulatory bodies take can either encourage broader adoption or create hurdles for market participants.
If regulatory clarity improves, it could foster greater integration with traditional financial systems, making Bitcoin more accessible to a wider audience. Conversely, restrictive policies or outright bans in key regions could dampen enthusiasm and reduce liquidity.
Technological Advancements and Network Developments Bitcoin’s underlying technology and network infrastructure are continuously evolving. Enhancements aimed at scalability, security, and usability can influence how widely Bitcoin is used. Innovations such as improvements in transaction speed and reduced fees may enhance user experience and adoption.
Moreover, developments in related technologies—like layer-two solutions, decentralized finance (DeFi), and cross-chain interoperability—could extend Bitcoin’s functionality and integration into broader digital ecosystems, potentially impacting its value perception.
Macro-Economic Factors The broader economic environment plays a crucial role in shaping Bitcoin’s trajectory. Inflation trends, monetary policy shifts, and the health of global markets all contribute to how digital assets perform. In times of economic uncertainty or currency instability, digital currencies can draw attention as alternative assets.
However, rising interest rates or tighter monetary conditions might reduce liquidity and risk appetite, influencing Bitcoin’s demand. The balance between these forces throughout 2025 will be a key determinant.
Market Sentiment and Adoption Trends Public perception and adoption rates continue to evolve, influenced by media coverage, institutional activity, and technological accessibility. Increasing use cases, such as acceptance in commerce and integration with financial services, could broaden Bitcoin’s reach.
At the same time, skepticism or negative sentiment arising from market volatility or security incidents might temper enthusiasm. The narrative surrounding Bitcoin’s role—whether as a digital currency, store of value, or speculative asset—will shape demand dynamics.
Competition and Ecosystem Expansion Bitcoin is part of a larger digital currency ecosystem that includes numerous alternative cryptocurrencies and blockchain projects. Competition from these assets, often offering different features or targeting specific niches, can affect Bitcoin’s market position.
However, Bitcoin’s first-mover status and network effects provide it a unique standing. The ecosystem around Bitcoin, including wallets, exchanges, and institutional frameworks, continues to mature, reinforcing its role within the crypto space.
Potential Scenarios for Bitcoin by the End of 2025 Scenario 1: Widespread Adoption and Integration In this scenario, Bitcoin experiences broader acceptance across financial systems and everyday use cases. Regulatory environments become clearer and more supportive, enabling institutional frameworks and retail usage to expand. Technological improvements reduce friction, and macroeconomic conditions create an environment where alternative assets gain traction.
Under these conditions, Bitcoin’s value could reflect broader demand and deeper market integration, with stable growth driven by utility and confidence.
Scenario 2: Regulatory Challenges and Market Consolidation Alternatively, Bitcoin could face increased regulatory pressures that constrain its use or accessibility. Stricter rules or enforcement actions might limit participation, especially in certain regions. Market interest could shift towards other digital assets or traditional alternatives.
This environment might result in a more volatile and constrained market for Bitcoin, where adoption grows slowly or plateaus, and price movement reflects caution.
Scenario 3: Technological Disruptions and Ecosystem Shifts Emerging technologies or competing platforms could reshape the digital currency landscape. Innovations in blockchain or digital finance might offer alternatives that eclipse Bitcoin’s current role. Conversely, Bitcoin could successfully integrate new technologies, maintaining its relevance.
Depending on these developments, Bitcoin’s trajectory could either follow a path of reinforced dominance or face challenges from evolving ecosystem dynamics.
Scenario 4: Economic and Geopolitical Influences Global economic instability or geopolitical events often drive shifts in asset preferences. Bitcoin’s decentralized nature might draw attention during periods of uncertainty, potentially increasing demand. Conversely, stable economic conditions and strong traditional markets might reduce interest.
The extent to which these external factors influence sentiment will be pivotal in shaping Bitcoin’s value by the end of 2025.
Key Factors to Watch Moving Forward Regulatory Announcements: Monitoring policy changes and enforcement actions globally will provide clues about future accessibility and market environment. Technological Progress: Adoption of upgrades and new applications could enhance usability and market confidence. Economic Indicators: Inflation trends, monetary policy, and global economic health will affect demand for digital assets. Market Sentiment: Public and institutional attitudes towards digital currencies will continue to influence market dynamics. Competitive Landscape: Developments in alternative digital currencies and blockchain projects may shift market share.
Final Thoughts Predicting Bitcoin’s exact value at the end of 2025 is inherently uncertain, given the many moving parts involved. However, by examining the regulatory climate, technological evolution, macroeconomic conditions, and market sentiment, a clearer picture of potential outcomes can emerge.
Bitcoin’s journey continues to be shaped by a convergence of innovation, policy, and global events. Whether it experiences renewed momentum, faces regulatory hurdles, or adapts to technological shifts, it remains a key player in the evolving world of digital assets. Observing these factors will be essential for understanding where Bitcoin might stand as the year closes.
